She made one stop then tried to start the car and it wouldn't start. 4-5 months ago she got a new battery and starter and had NO ISSUES with the car starting. It seems like too much of a coincidence that all of sudden the car won't start. I called and they refused to double check their work or to see what they made have done wrong or on accident in order for her to have this problem. Also, they were very rude to my girlfriend during the process of taking her car in. I have little sisters and female friends that I WOULD NEVER want them to experience something like this or deal with the anxiety of this type of situation. I'm not a bad person or complaining person that just wants to bash a company but I feel it is important to let the public know and to prevent anyone from dealing with this. I've seen plenty of customer cars here over the years so I figured that it was worth a try. My 2004 Grand Marquis needed two things repaired, the speed control for the blower and the air suspension compressor. They did the work promptly and at a reasonable price, far better than what the dealership was estimating. Previously I tried the Lincoln dealership in Southgate for the blower not being able to be controlled. It was either on high or off. Their mechanic had the car for 2 days and couldn't find a problem. They said it was working fine and sent me on my way. It failed as I pulled out of their parking lot so I went back. They said I could leave it again for the night and they would look it the next day again. I decided that apparently their mechanic was not too experienced with intermittent blower speed issues even though the problem is highly recognized on Youtube for the Panther platform cars. On my own with Youtube's help I concluded that it was the blower control resistor, as this was a common issue with the Panther platform and decided to take it to Livernois Automotive. Mike and I talked and they replaced the blower resistor and the problem was successfully fixed in addition to the air compressor I needed for the suspension system. Mike and his mechanics are what we look for in mechanics. Honest, dependable, and with reasonable prices. This is now my go-to shop for automotive repairs. Thanks Mike....
