South County Mall is doing its best to remain open and offer a wide variety of shopping options…read more Despite what seems like the demise of proper malls, SC has made some changes, a lot of stores have closed and it looks a bit bleak ( especially in the morning when the mall walkers are there, but there are some interesting new businesses and even though there are only five restaurants in the food court, samples tell me that there will be some individual reviews on all of them by yours truly. Service in all the visited stores was very good, and associates remain positive about the mall's fate. Still a proper selection of items from the stores that are still there and from the more recent stores. As far as value, you still have to shop - cuz that's why you went - so my advice is to treat yourself to what might be one of the last "indoor malls" you may ever see. I've purchased a couple work shoes, sandals and leisure footwear over the years. The clearance shelf is not as abundantly stocked as other Marshalls but again, it's mostly because this location is fairly popular. They also have plenty of salon brand hair product and you might even find some on clearance for even more savings! Okay, now I just sound like a bad ad but seriously, give this location a try.
