Stopped in for some beer on the way back to our ship. We were surprised this place was smaller than expected, but we found a table and started with a flight of four different beers. From there, I went with the Heck Yeah Helles Lager, while my wife had a pint of the chocolate toffee porter. Both were pretty good. A little pricier than beer back home, but good nonetheless. read more

A hidden gluten-free paradise in Key West! Tucked away in the back of a small courtyard, this place is a gem. The entire menu is gluten-free, and they even have gf beers on tap.I had the croque monsieur, and my mom enjoyed a flight of IPAs. The service was very friendly and fast. We came back here for a second night while on our three day trip to Key West - that's how much we loved it here. We tried the bacon skewer and damnnnn was that good. We sat outside to watch a football game. We tried all three breweries in Key West and Southernmost is by far THE best one. Service was just as good the second time as it was the first. If you're into craft beer - make this your first stop. read more

We only stopped in shortly for a drink but the ambiance was definitely welcoming. The beers were good, staff friendly, and there was a good mix of local regulars as well as tourists. They have popcorn, which is always a plus at a bar/brewery. I would definitely return and would recommend you check them out if you haven't already. ENJOY!!! read more

Tucked away a little bit, but definitely worth the stop! I love that their bar seats not only have a hook for your purse, but an outlet so you can change your phone while you drink! Service is great, beers are diverse and they have 18 taps to choose from. Prices are a bit high at $11/pint. Beer is really good though, and you can ask for it "to go" and they'll put it in a paper cup. Food menu is unique and unlike any other brewery I've been to. read more

This is a great little brewpub that's been freshly open for less than a year in Key West. The folks working were super kind and welcoming to my friend and I when we wandered in one night. She is a local and I was the tourist. They were generous to allow us to try samples before committing, so I got a full range of their beer offerings and was impressed. It's especially good considering the good-beer desert that is Key West. They have food on their menu too. We each ordered a bowl of popcorn, which had a tasty herbal topping on it. I was most impressed by their lagers. I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you're in Key West and like trying local beer. read more

Just walked out of the heat and into a small craft beer brewery. They had cornhole games outside with several chairs. Inside was a ten seater bar with five tables. Eighteen cold craft beers on tap. 12 oz draft for $9. The bartender was chatty and a few couples inside. read more

As a celiac, I am soooo happy I found this place. EVERYTHING here is gluten free. There are about 20 different beers to choose from for all palettes and a pretty extensive lunch, snacks, and dinner menu. My favorite was the beer. Inside is nice and air conditioned and they have outdoor seating as well which is the only place pets can enjoy hanging out. read more

Found this brewery along Front St. and wasn't disappointed! The server who waited on us was very friendly and a pleasure to talk with during our visit. The beers we had were fresh and tasty. I had the El Niño which also had a jalapeño finish. If you like a beer with a slight sting as a back finish this is your beer. I have had some with habanero but found this to be right there with those I have had before. My wife had the moonbeam which is a wheat beer and lended to a Hefeweizen type flavor profile. Also very good. Ask for the popcorn as it is sprinkled with truffle salt. Very good! Ambience is cool but basic. Really just a bar serving beer but hey it had a cool vibe! read more

Brand new spot! They had their grand opening tonight and had a great event to kick things off. There's a cute little courtyard where you can drink and hang out as well as a small inside seating area around the bar. For the grand opening, they had a projector showing ESPN on the side of a building in the courtyard. I can definitely see this being a great spot to watch football on the weekends! I'd also love to see them do local events with movies or game nights projected. They've got a great selection of beers and some wines and canned cocktail options as well. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgable and service was quick even in the midst of a busy grand opening! Excited to see what becomes of this new local spot in Key West. read more

Come and see Lindsay and Tadd on front street on Key West. They have only been open for 7 days but based on the quality of the beer and the amazing food, I think they have a great shot. An amazing hidden jewel, yet in the heart of everything. Food is delicious, friendly service, owner operated and fun vibe. The beers are crafted on premises and the patio offers live broadcasts and movies. A great way to spend time with friends near everything, yet quiet enough to enjoy conversation without the noise from Duval St. on Front St. across from Pier House. Highly recommend if you love craft beers, it's a passion here. The menu is creative, I enjoyed the German potato pancake, fresh and delicious, crunchy, not greasy or oily. Small place with a wide range of beer choices. Limited menu. Beer prices are in the range of what you'd pay for a beer at a professional sporting event so if that's your cup of tea this place is for you. Decent service though every beer we ordered had an inconsistent fill level - some to the rim and others with a massive foam head. I would rather drink beer and dine at the other two Key West breweries which are far superior. Great to see another craft beer option in the Keys, but at the Crazy prices here, my Lady and I won't be returning. read more

Blast Beer Company was formally founded in 2020 (even though Tadd has been homebrewing under that name since the 1990s), and we finally opened our brick & mortar on October 27th, 2023

Open: Sun-Thu 11am-11pm, Fri & Sat 11am-12am. Happy Hour 4-7pm. It can get busy with tourists as it is near the north end of Duval St. There is a paid municipal parking lot in front, street parking is extremely limited. The meal came with a thimble of red cabbage slaw - should've gotten fries or a side salad instead - I took one bite and didn't like it - felt like a red cabbage garnish to clean my colon more than tasty cole slaw. For dessert we shared the key lime pie with Oreo crust. It seemed like they're trying to do too much - Oreo crust key lime pie would've been fine, but with strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate sauce it was confusing. Keep it simple - at a minimum remove the chocolate sauce - chocolate and lime is a strange combination. Overall, would eat here again, but for the price I'd expect better food.
