My wife and I went into Brady's Pub with low expectations. We had gone for an upscale brunch early in the day, and wanted a "close and easy" option for dinner. Since we are staying on Smathers Beach, "close" is an issue. The feel of the place is definitely pub - nice large bar, mostly low table seating, dart board, etc. Nothing fancy, but functional and clean. Decent draft beer list - I was especially pleased to see a REAL Czech Pilsner (Pilsner Urquell). Great choice! The menu had a multitude of Irish-ish choices and some nice apps. Even though it was Easter Sunday they were offering a Happy Hour, so we started with some sweet chili wings. Not super spicy, not super sweet, very nice. Big wings. We split a Rueben for our main, and the house-made corned beef was EXCELLENT (albeit REALLY salty). We walked out full and happy, achieving our "close and easy" goal and enjoying the experience as well. We sat at the bar where Cheryl was our bartender and server. She was very efficient and very friendly. We really enjoyed talking with her and watching her interact with the really diverse group at the bar. Fun times! read more

When you walk in you may think, dive bar. Don't leave. If you're hungry and you came to eat, eat. The food is excellent and well worth it. The menu is not huge and that's fine. More attention is paid to what's offered. We had the potato leak soup with bacon and cheddar cheese. Rich and delicious. You might want to split it as it's very satisfying. My love had the chili lime wings. Ad says always fresh never frozen. I believe. Fat, juicy wings crunchy on the outside. Great stuff. I risked the classic reuben. As a NY Jew you've got to impress me with corned beef. They got it right. Really right. Ok? So its recommended. Not a dive bar, a towny bar. Well done. read more

We stayed on Josephine St.for the month of March 2026.....Brady's Pub food was excellent but what really shined was the staff,but who really stood out was Cheryl and Ruthie....they always made us feel so welcomed and the service was way above par!!!! This is great Irish dive bar that has changed names a few times the last few years but remains unchanged. The food is always great. They have a variety of specials and Irish dishes including an awesome Irish breakfast anytime! The bartenders are very friendly and one is actually Irish. It is off the beaten path and is a mostly local crowd some from other bars. read more

I have to say something about Brady and the fact that all the people that work there are very, very sweet and all the people that go there are very local. The food is really good. The atmosphere is really good especially if you're a sports fan there's a lot of Irish people or Scottish. I don't know. I met a guy gilly and his girlfriend Regan, who is a very nice person what I really like about Brady's as it stays open till 4 o'clock in the morning and if you're a person like me and you can't sleep till all hours of the night and there's a place to go they're very welcoming. 2nd year for corned beef dinner on St Patrick's day. Great service. Excellent food others in our party got other dishes and they were just outstanding. Wonderful Irish music full band playing. Decent food for a dive bar, where the best part is the customers that come in and the servers. This isn't a fancy place so don't come expecting 5 star gourmet food, but has great drink specials and fun atmosphere. The best food option is the tater tot nachos, sooooo good! This was close to our condo so we could walk. We ate there twice. Tator Tot Nachos were pretty good. Family loved the fish and chips (not greasy or over breaded) Staff was friendly and attentive. Really good Cosmos and cold beer. If we are in Key West again we will stop. read more

A great dive bar for a quick bite! My friends and I stopped in for a relaxed dinner before a night out. I got the Italian Burger and fries, it was a really unique flavor with it being like a pizza burger. Honestly, I didn't hate it!! It was suuuuper juicy, cooked to how I requested. The fries were super well seasoned & delicious. I also tried some of my friends barbecue wings. Overall, the food wasn't bad but it wasn't the best I've ever had. This is Ameal's first visit to the newly established Bradys Irish Pub ( formerly Shanna Key). The new Lait (grey) paint work drew me in. The place is cool, and clearly a work in progress. Cheryl the Scottish bartender is outstanding as is the fish n chips. The fries were cooked to perfection and the fish extra moist and yummy all of course paired with a well poured Guinness. Ameal will return to try the Rubin, Shepard Pie and more. So far now a thumbs up for Brady's. Good American patriots too! read more

After a week in Key West and either having food that was just ok or not all it was cracked up to be, we discovered Brady's Pub. This was the best meal and least expensive meal we have had in Key West. Val our server was attentive without being overbearing and the chef Brian came out to speak with the guests. Had lunch at Brady's today. The Ruben was awesome along with the fries and gravy. Ruthie is a great server, very attentive and nice.

Stopped in for a pint or two and a snack. Fun atmosphere. Cheryl the bartender provided excellent service. Had the fish dip for my snack. Very tasty. My pints were served up in a frosty glass! Great spot to watch sporting events on any of the several TVs. Friendly and fun folks hanging out at the bar! The 5 stars are because Brady's is really good at what they do - serve good food and drinks at a great price (especially for KW), offer a decent happy hour and have a friendly, locals vibe. Also, I just had the best clam chowder there that I've ever had anywhere. read more
