I recently had to replace the motor on my pump and although I was confident I could easily complete the task Justin offered to inspect the pump and install the new pump motor I purchased from him. Luckily I took him up on the offer he found some issues with the pump's impeller during the replacement process and quickly remedied the issue with new parts he had in stock while I waited. There are a number of pool supply stores in the area and my experiences with the larger brand name stores have varied. My experience here was exceptional and validates why I like to shop local and give the smaller businesses a chance to earn my business. Their service techs are very young and clearly inexperienced. They caused a yellow/gold stain that runs across the entire bottom of our pool by leaving chemicals sitting at the bottom. The stain appeared the very next day after their service. When my husband tried to brush it, some debris lifted, but the stain remained. When we contacted the company, they denied responsibility and told us to file a warranty claim with our pool builder instead. This company is 100% responsible for the damage to our pool. One of the times they did show up, they didn't have the right part because the person who came out to do the assessment "miscommunicated" with them. When concern was expressed to Lance that the employee who did the initial assessment seemed stoned at the time, he laughed and said, "Probably." Normally, I wouldn't care, but the man drove one of their trucks through a neighborhood a block from an elementary school. Not once did they apologize for their unprofessional behavior. I've also done research and found they charge $224.99 for parts that can be purchased on Amazon for $159.99. I used to go to Seminole Pool Supply for all my pool needs. However, since they invested in their fleet of trucks, their service, especially their customer service, has gone downhill.
