EXCELLENT FOOD! We ordered to go and our meal was ready in 15 minutes. We got the butter chicken, garlic naan, and samosa chaat. All delicious and perfectly spiced (subtle but great flavor).

Ambiance: it's a small Indian restaurant located in a plaza with shared parking lot Service: slow and forgetful, it took a while to get water and food served, and long wait to get check as well Food: classic a la carte Indian food menu items, and they also have buffet options for certain time of the week Chicken Masala Dosa - *** Crispy rice crepe filled with spiced chicken masala, served with chutneys and sambar, dosa was good, chicken was very salty Goat Dum Biryani (Bone-in) - ** Marinated Goat slow cooked with layered saffron basmati, very dry goat meat Onion Kulcha - ** soggy pancake Price: poor quality and stingy portion on proteins, expect $25+ per person, and be aware that they charge you higher prices than their menu

My brother had ordered us this off Uber Eats and it was his first time having Indian cuisine. By time I took my first few bites, I looked up and seen my brother's plate empty and drinking the lassi. I miss him always. What a great memory of us having lovely food and putting him on savory foods because we grew up wit high expectations for food due to our family being chefs and foodies. I gotta get some more in remembrance for my babyboy. Long Live Blake Matthew Williams.

I've been curious about this place for a while and am glad we got to try it this weekend. We got the lunch buffet which was delicious! I especially enjoyed the butter chicken, curries, and vegetable pakoras. Each dish was well seasoned. I would say this is one of the better Indian restaurants in the South Bay. We'll definitely be back!

Finally found excellent dosas in LA! After trying a variety of South Indian restaurants in the region, my husband and I have been very disappointed that while most restaurants have very good South Indian dishes, their dosas were mostly terrible. We even tried South Indian restaurants in Artesia and were very disappointed with the dosas. My husband did some online searching and read about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, everything had been excellent so far! Dosas are properly made. And the biryani and other dishes are equally good. We've dined in at the restaurant and ordered takeout and the quality has been consistent. So glad we found this place!!

Samosas are delicious

Amazing dosa and lunch buffet. Will definitely be coming back to try out other dishes. The hosts told us that the difference between that restaurant and others is that they import their spices and create their own masalas. I tried the samosa and Dosa while my husband tried the lunch buffet. Clean place and superb attention to customer service.

We came for the buffet which is great and then ordered the Apollo Fish (see photo). It's the best fish I've had in a restaurant!!

We came on a Friday night and it was not busy. Service was fast and food was fresh. I really liked their tikka masala. Naan was on the soft/fluffy side. Chilli chicken was yummy too! The restaurant feels like a hole in the wall, but the food was delicious!! If I lived closer, I would come here often.

Butter naan

Butter naan has no butter on it Garlic naan is okay Buttered chicken a little spicy and not sweet

Food is good here. My friend who is from India took me here & ordered for us. As an Asian girl who only gets to eat buttered chicken & curries, this food is authentic. It's not straight from India authentic, but for the southbay in Lawndale it's pretty good!!! We had sambar vada, chicken masala dosa, chapati, and channa masala. I will come back for their Thursday night dosa buffets for $19!!!

Not bad! We tried their veggie samosas and the butter chicken. Both items were superb. I'll definitely be back for more.

Good fresh food. The biryani on weekends are amazing. They need better wine selection. Ambience is ok. Needs improvement.

A little hole-in-the-wall gem with seriously delicious Pakistani/Indian food and highly recommend…read moreanyone craving Indian/Pakistani! My husband and I stopped by Al Noor and were pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food. It's definitely a small, no-frills kind of spot, but sometimes those are the places that serve some of the most comforting and flavorful food. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was SO good. The chicken was flavorful and the creamy, spiced sauce was absolutely perfect with the butter and garlic naan. The naan was warm, soft, and had just the right amount of garlic and buttery goodness to soak up all that sauce. Add in a mango lassi on the side, and it was such a satisfying meal. Usually places have their mango lassi on the thicker side but I liked the way Al Noor did it because it had a perfect liquid/thickness ratio in my opinion. My husband ordered what I believe was the Lamb Curry, and he enjoyed it as well. I'm personally not a huge fan of lamb, so I didn't try much of his dish, but when I asked him which one he would choose if he could only have one, he said he'd actually go with my Chicken Tikka Masala... so I think that says something! We even got another order to-go since it was savory and wanted us wanting more for dinner. One thing I found really interesting was that they brought out cucumbers and onions as an appetizer. I actually asked our server what they were for because I wasn't familiar with that tradition and haven't seen any other places serve these before at other Indian spots. She explained that they're commonly enjoyed as a little snack alongside the meal. I thought that was such a fun cultural touch and something I wouldn't necessarily expect when dining out. Overall, Al Noor is exactly the kind of unassuming, neighborhood hole-in-the-wall that I love discovering. The food was flavorful, comforting, and delicious without needing a fancy atmosphere or presentation to make an impression. Definitely giving this place 5 stars especially for that Chicken Tikka Masala, naan, and mango lassi combo! I'd happily come back for another plate. As for parking, the plaza was small but has enough parking spots. But if not, I would park across in the other plaza and just walk over.

Tikka masala - very good, chicken is white breast meat. It is cooked in large chunks and if eaten…read morewhole will be dry. So you need cut it up into small pieces and eat it. The creaminess of the sauce will make it taste great Palak paneer - good. Used quite a bit of dhal. Paneer pieces are huge also. I also recommend cutting this up into small pieces so it is more distributed Garlic naan - okay Strip mall parking in front. Was kinda gassy after eating
