Easy to order online, gave us good pick up instructions, and everything came packed really nicely. The good: - Pricing was extremely reasonable for what we ordered, especially around a holiday. - Side dishes were fantastic. Simple things like craisins and cheese in the salad, excellent corn mix, and red skin mashed potatoes made the meal a huge hit. - Packaging. Everything came in good, foil pans with tight lids. I have a Cambro so it packed nicely in there to keep the hot foods hot. The "meh": Honestly, the ribs were not fantastic. Good, basic, "fall off the bone" (AKA cooked to far) ribs. A rub was non existent and the sauce they put on was really bland. I was in the minority of folks that didn't care for them which leads me to give them that 4th star up there. Apparently they do all kinds of catering and "meals ready to go" out of the Warehouse 22 Event Center in Syracuse. Looking forward to giving them more business in the futire.

I chose BD Catering to cater a wedding dinner for 60 people. I do not recommend them. I had them…read moreserve the food to the table. Cold food was cold so the salad being the first course was promising. Hot food was cold. We were concerned about food poisoning. Waiting staff looked stressed and their uniforms were old and several were dirty. This was a formal event. A few days later when I contacted Charlotte Hall she said basically that's the kind of service and food to expect for the price she charged us. If there was a way to do over, I would choose a different caterer.

Our family recently hired Good Day Catering to handle the Celebration of Life event for a loved one…read moreat the Red Butte Garden. We anticipated a group of 200 to 250 people and ordered food for 200. They arrived as scheduled and set up all the linens, a bar and serving areas before the event so we could place flowers, photos etc. for the event. The food was very tasty, the service was courteous and professional and our guests were very impressed. They helped make the event so great and things ran like a well oiled machine. They cleaned everything up and were out of the venue on time and even had to go boxes that we were able to use for the little food that was left over after our event. They were price competitive and great to work with. I'd have no problem recommending Good Day Catering to others.

We hired them for our wedding day catering. It was overall a good service. There were some…read moreunpleasant experience but they were willing to take responsibilities and offered partial refund. Here is a full story: We initially chose them because their event coordinator Amanda was very responsive on all communication and the meals they presented on tasting. Amanda remained professional which we felt grateful. However, the food that we actually got served on the wedding day was not the same. The chicken was very moist, saucy, and bigger portion during the tasting, but on the day was dry and small. During the tasting, we were amazed on this pesto mash potato that they created for us, which was one of the reasons that we decided on their service, was not even served on the wedding day. They offered to refund the cost of the potato and some of the chicken to us, which was appreciated. The other part of their service that needs improvement is the bar-tending service. We had an open bar and we purchased a considerable amount of alcohol, thinking that they will last the whole night. However, when it was the time for our champagne toast, my husband and I did not even get any champagne because they were out already... From our guests, we learned that the portion of the drinks that were served was not handled professionally. Overall, I'd still recommend to at least give them a call if you are looking for a catering service because they were being responsive and responsible.

My husband ordered the sausage butter croissant and was surprised it didn't come with egg - just sausage, cheese and the croissant. I even double-checked the menu to be sure and they do have both - an option with egg and one without. He gave it a 3/5 and said it would've been much better with egg. I went with the egg and cheese on a butter croissant. It was definitely on the greasy side but that's to be expected with a croissant. We shared a sweet roll, which was pretty good but the real win for me was the free samples. They were handing out bites of their baked goods - pumpkin chocolate chip, a white chocolate cookie of some sort and a mystery muffin - and I snagged a few for us. Overall, pretty good for a quick breakfast!

Does this look like a $12 club sandwich to anyone??? Quality is definitely slipping. It's supposed…read moreto at least have meat on it. Last time, I ordered a crack chicken sandwich. Not only wasn't it crack chicken with that wonderful creamy sauce, it was Turkey - with no sauce on it. Not even mayo. And it was on plain bread. I showed it to the girl at the counter, who took it in the back to show someone and came back and said, " Yes, that's crack chicken." When I pointed out it was, in fact, TURKEY, she turned to help another customer and ignored me. So, not only is quality slipping, but so is the service. And apparently, there's a chef who doesn't know his own menu and can't tell chicken from turkey.
