I was pleased with my experience at Long Lewis Alabaster…read more A salesman met us outside, and was very helpful. We came to look at a specific vehicle, and Tre had the keys ready to go in a jiffy. He was up front about the vehicle's history; I've had to pry that out of dealerships before, so them being forthcoming about it before I ever asked was reassuring. The showroom area was clean and well maintained. Nice music on the overhead; not a bunch of rap crap. Our paperwork process was simple, and Kenneth was helpful and answered any questions we had. The sales manager was a nice man, and of course Tre, our salesman, was as kind as could be. I feel like we got a good deal here. I can recommend car shopping here. Long Lewis has been around for a long time, and they haven't stayed in business as long as they have by doing their customers wrong.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Cahaba collision center…read more I recently had my car repaired at Cahaba Collision, and I must say, it was a complete nightmare. Despite being warned to wait before writing a review, I wish I had spoken up sooner about the horrendous service I received. Firstly, I had to take my car back to Cahaba Conversion five times or more because they couldn't seem to get it right the first time. Each time, I was promised that the issues would be fixed, yet they persisted. Not only did they fail to properly fix the problems, but they also left compound on my car, resulting in scratches everywhere. To add insult to injury, instead of properly fixing my front fender, they simply screwed a bolt in to keep it together, which only made matters worse. When I confronted the district manager and the manager of the Auto department about these issues, they had the audacity to call me a liar to my face and blame me for an alleged accident. However, upon seeking a second opinion from another auto repair shop, it was confirmed that there had been no accident, as the paint was smooth and not cracked. Furthermore, the overruns on my car were so bad that I had to enlist someone to buff the entire vehicle just to remove the compound from the windows, doors, and hood. It's clear that Cahaba Collision center did a shoddy job and displayed a complete lack of professionalism throughout the entire process. Overall, I would strongly advise anyone considering Cahaba Collision center for auto repairs to steer clear unless they enjoy wasting time, money, and dealing with incompetent staff who refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. 07/30/26 Element Garage…read more712 5th Avenue North Birmingham, Alabama 35203 I have trusted Element Garage with our vehicles for many years. Edwin, the owner, is so kind, knowledgeable, and smart. He gives both me and my brother great confidence that our vehicle is being cared for properly. Drew performed the work on our vehicle this time, including an oil and filter change, replacing the valve-cover gasket, repairing the rear hatch-release switch, and moving and mounting the tires as needed. He also explained what tire and window-switch work may be needed in the future. Yvonne helped me get home while the work was being done and called me when our vehicle was ready to be picked up. I greatly appreciated her kindness and help. Edwin, Drew, and Yvonne put their very best into their work and into making their customers feel satisfied and confident. I have never left Element Garage without feeling that our vehicle drove better than it did when we brought it in. I highly recommend them. God bless! Mark and Tim Elders

He told me to bring it in and he said he was sure they could work on it. I cranked the scooter once a week for the past year and I drove it there. After them having my scooter for less than 1 day he called me and said he couldn't do anything with it and I have to get a trailer to come it because it won't crank now and it's missing wires. I bought it from a person who was the only owner and never modified or taken anything off the scooter. I also took before and after pictures when I took it to them and wires were missing in the after pictures. I will not and do not recommend anyone taking anything here if you expect to get your items back in one piece/ working. After asking the person I bought it from to help me go get it, he said he took his ATV and had the same experience.
