I then took my 2019 Camry to a transmission place, and of course, they said my transmission was perfectly fine, that it was my wheel bearing. So after have three different people/places (including my boyfriend, who has a master C license) tell me that I needed my wheel bearing replaced, not only time was wasted, but an extra $125 to have someone look at my perfectly good transmission, was also wasted. Christian Brothers does pre-purchase vehicle inspections. They have two types of inspections. One is basically visual inspection and the other is an in-depth check of the car. Of course, I chose the more detailed inspection. When I went to drop the car off, I was greeted warmly by the man at the first desk. He recognized me from the phone. I received text messages letting me know when my car was being serviced, when it was ready, and a link to a report of their findings. The report was thorough. They even attached a video clip to demonstrate something that needed to be fixed. When I picked the car up, they reviewed the report with me further. They didn't push me on trying to have repairs done with them. The helped me decide to purchase the car. The report definitely helped with me being able to negotiate the price of the car to a more favorable price. If you need an used car looked at before buying, they can help you with that!

A woman that was working there and told me that the wiring harness has to be replaced as well. They kept doing things that I told them not to do so that they can jump the price up even more. I wanted to save as much money as possible because I also had to take my dog to the vet, the shop owner forced me to put my dog down so I can get my truck out because I couldn't pay the vet bill. I had to spend all I had to get the truck out, when I left with the truck, it was running terrible so of course I took it to another shop where they said that everything was done terribly and a lot of things were not even properly done. The other shop told me that I should take it back to them and make them do everything again the right way. I took the truck home myself and took a week off of work, I rebuild the engine and replaced all the things that they should've done. I got the truck running perfectly and drove into another shop where they did a inspection and checked it off, I sold the truck and bought myself a new Dodge ram to get the money back that I wasted on the shop. Unfortunately, I lost my dog and my truck because of this place. One of the ladies even told me to vote for Trump if I wanted to make more money in the future, this place is disgusting and overpriced. I don't ever like taking my vehicles to the shop. If I can just do it myself, unfortunately, I just didn't have the time to do it so I thought a simple repair would be just fine.
