Some time ago, I took an F150 to have the spark plugs removed and re-thread. When I asked about the base price no one knew until they can "look at it first" I agreed as long as they just removed the spark plugs ONLY, when I came up there to see about the price they jumped up to over $2500. I told him not to do any more work, but just the spark plugs removal, the shop owner said that he was not going to do that that he was "already committed" and was going to do the job all the way. A woman that was working there and told me that the wiring harness has to be replaced as well. They kept doing things that I told them not to do so that they can jump the price up even more. I was so frustrated because they were trying to charge me for stuff that I did not agree to and will not be able to pay for.. the owner threaten to have me arrested and sued if I did not pay, and that he would charge me a certain amount of day until it is paid for. I wanted to save as much money as possible because I also had to take my dog to the vet, the shop owner forced me to put my dog down so I can get my truck out because I couldn't pay the vet bill. I had to spend all I had to get the truck out, when I left with the truck, it was running terrible so of course I took it to another shop where they said that everything was done terribly and a lot of things were not even properly done. The other shop told me that I should take it back to them and make them do everything again the right way. I took the truck home myself and took a week off of work, I rebuild the engine and replaced all the things that they should've done. I got the truck running perfectly and drove into another shop where they did a inspection and checked it off, I sold the truck and bought myself a new Dodge ram to get the money back that I wasted on the shop. Unfortunately, I lost my dog and my truck because of this place. One of the ladies even told me to vote for Trump if I wanted to make more money in the future, this place is disgusting and overpriced. I don't ever like taking my vehicles to the shop. If I can just do it myself, unfortunately, I just didn't have the time to do it so I thought a simple repair would be just fine. This place really is a scam, never again would I ever take my vehicle to a shop like this. My first and last experience with this or any repair shop, this place proved me right that most mechanic shops are nothing but a scam. read more

Nice fast and prices are much better than the dealership. Edit. Prices are good for oil changes and things like that. Staff are mostly nice. I changed my review to 3 stars because if you have any major repair here be prepared to wait a very long time. Like 2+ months. Having a 3rd car is the only option because a rental car would be outrageous. While I have no doubt they do things correctly it's just too much time to wait for a 20-30 hour job. Youre much better off just paying the dealership extra to get your car back a lot sooner. I will update my review on the quality of the repair once I get it back. Update. 9/23/24 The owner is extremely unprofessional. I call once a week to check on things and because I'm told something new needs replaced. My car has been there since April... April. Finalized repair prices in May. 95% of the time I'm told that I will get a call back by the end of the day. I never do. Then they get pissed off because I call back.... Owner then calls me a liar about being told I'll get a call back and then tells me he and everyone else was "annoyed and pissed off" at me because I call frequently to check on my car. As a consumer would you not check on a car you're spending $14 thousand dollars to fix that's been there half a year??? ..Literally takes 3 weeks to a month to even hear about part prices.... My wife heard the owner yelling at me while I'm being calm asking reasonable questions. Then hangs up on me. Im paying these guys $14k.... No customer deserves this. She's honestly taken a back and didn't realize how bad this man treats his customers. He's threatened to give me my car and parts back with no refund when I asked him if there was anything I could do. Will update if he does that and follow further. read more

I wish I could give them no stars. This shop is nice until you decide you don't want them to repair your car. They provided an overpriced estimate without a breakdown. I could say more but I will never use this shop and suggest other women of color not to either. Beware of them holding your car and storage fees. They won't give you all the information upfront before it happens if they don't repair your car. Just imagine what they may do if they did the repair. read more

I used Brown for the first time for my most recent oil change. I got a great deal & fast & friendly service. I would definitely suggest calling & making an appt to bring your car in rather than just stopping by as they stay pretty busy. I will be going back for future oil changes & service. read more

When we took our vehicle up there, we were told it would be done within the week.. one month later we get the truck back and it is STILL NOT RUNNING RIGHT. We were told a price in the beginning and when we went to pay they gave us a higher price. They said the vehicle needed another part, but never called to authoritize the $500 part.They lied multiple times to us about when it would be finished, but when we mentioned that today, they called us liars. They lied to us from the beginning and withheld information from us. We went back and forth yelling with the owner. As I was getting in my car, the owner came out mad and called me a f****** bi***. They are the most unprofessional business that I have ever used. I will definitely tell everyone to stay away from that place. They are LIARS. read more

In the past we had good service. Our most recent was a horrible experience. We were charged $160 to change a spark plug. When we questioned we were told it's $150 to just a being a vehicle in to shop. Our vehicle now run worse than before. Something was done and we now need to find someone else to service. read more

I live in Birmingham but I bought a Groupon for this place for an oil change and a "full inspection" because it was a good deal and not a chain place (local but not necessarily local to me). I drove out there Friday and told the guy I had the oil change Groupon, he said he was fully booked up for the weekend and asked if I wanted to make an appointment for Monday. I show up for my 11am appointment today and say "hello" in the office and garage a couple of times and see no one. Finally a man emerges. He asked how he could help me and I told him I had an 11am appointment and he replied, "today?", and seemed confused that I would've made one for today. He goes in to the office and dips out of sight for a second then comes out and asks if it's for a Groupon. I say yes and he tells me that they're not supposed to make appointments for Groupon and they can't honor it and I'll have to figure out a refund on Groupon's end. I say okay and then ask if he can do an oil change without a Groupon today. He says no. Does not offer to schedule me an oil change for later today or another time. Seemed like the guy didn't want to do any business with me. The best part is this morning I almost bought an entirely DIFFERENT Groupon for brake pad work from this same garage! read more

Super nice guys and saved some money with a Groupon purchase. I only had an oil change, which took under 15 minutes, so I can't speak other repairs. You may need to make an appointment sometimes but other than that a pleasant experience. I will be coming back in the future read more
