In what was actually not their fault,…read morethey were very behind and I had to wait close to two hours. i did feel that potentially they were priced a lot higher than necessary when I paid However, neither of these things were truly the issue. The next day after I got my battery replaced my car started making a grinding noise when I started it and when idling. My car is still under warranty so I didn't want to take it anywhere but the service at the dealership so I wouldn't have to pay. as it turns out, pep boys didn't put my battery in correctly and messed up part of the air filter causing it to "grind" against the fans. This luckily DIDNT do damage to the fans but easily could I have! I am very disappointed with the situation! will not be returning

This was the shop I was referred to. Stay AWAY. I can only recap my experience. I gave them my car. I locked the door. They were only supposed to put new tires on. They were closing. So I had to leave it over night. I picked it up the next day. Thought all was in order. I did notice they left my car unlocked when I approached. Just thought they rushed with the clean up. Things were spilled on the pavement from the inside. Which come to find out I had items stolen from it. After speaking with the manager, I find out leave your car unlocked over night without adequate cameras. They don't care much for details for protecting your property, doubt their work is much different.

I stopped by twice and each time the person who does that was gone. I then called to get a side rear-view mirror replaced. He didn't know if they could get the parts, etc. but would call me back. I assumed I could get the service interval reset then. It has been 2+ weeks now and still no call back. Seems clear they really don't care about actually trying to help solve your problem(s). I will never try to use them again.

Over the years the mechanics have changed and I still always get great service. The guys and women are always very pleasant. I don't know much about cars and I never feel like I need to when I come here, they let me know what I need to know and always keep it easy to understand and I never feel like they are trying to sell me stuff I don't need.

This is a different location than what I normally go to and Petey was super nice. He asked me if I wanted synthetic (more expensive) or semi synthetic (less expensive) --I might have those mixed up-- and I asked him if he thought it made a difference. He said they're the same weight (whatever that means) and no. So, I did the cheaper version. These places are usually super quick and I never have to get out of my car. No complaints. Manager Mike assured me a quick turnaround, but the Jeep sat untouched for two weeks. Julian, the mechanic, never followed up as promised. Milton at the front desk was equally unhelpful. In the end, they just told me to pick it up--no work done. Everyone should be warned about this place's awful service and lack of professionalism from top to bottom.
