Our search for a home generator began with a candid, comprehensive assessment of our needs. Mr. Williams assured me a 26K unit would suffice (after earlier contractors pushed larger, much more expensive units). At every step, the process unfolded just as I was told. When the generator arrived, it was easy to set up the site visit to begin work. Dustin and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently and got the unit installed with no problems. Dustin walked me through that process as well. And when the gas company (finally) made the necessary connections, Dustin was back out to finish the job. Again, with great explanations and a step-by-step tutorial. When they finished, my yard looked even better than before they began the work. Masters Generator is tops in my book. It was a comfort to work with just one lead electrician. Dustin was knowledgeable, professional, and welcomed all my rookie questions. I will DEFINITELY use this service again for any electrical needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

With hundreds of electrical service companies to choose from, I quickly went for one of the few with the highest customer reviews and compliments. I took a chance on Master of Generators and Electrical Service and am happy that I did. I almost canceled because it was nearly 4 pm, and I hadn't heard from them since 2 pm. I wasn't confident Christian could finish the work before dinner time. When I called to cancel, a professional lady offered to get Christian and Jeremy's ETA, which went well. They apologized for running behind schedule. However, I am not off the hook because I should have believed MGES when they stated that the electricians would "arrive between the hours of 12 pm and 4 pm," which I now know, in hindsight, they would have. Christian and Jeremy are fantastic electricians. They came through the door dripping with experience, confidence, and wonderful personalities. One worked on the hallway light fixture while the other tackled the dining room. When Christian put up the flush mount fixture for the hallway within 10 minutes, he joined Jeremy to help assemble a complex chandelier. That chandelier encompassed several bars to connect to eight lights. Despite my initial concerns, the task was completed in a remarkably short time, with the total service time being under an hour. Christian and Jeremy not only met but exceeded my expectations. Their service was impeccable, and the price I paid for such efficient and high-quality work was more than reasonable. I will be using Master of Generators and Electrical Service again.

Normally they do a…read morebasic block calculation or a more detailed calculation to determine the size of compressor needed for the size of your house. Sounds pretty basic right? Not to these folks! In the process of installing they caused a major leak (drain stopped before pan) in my ceiling. Now I am stuck with an underpowered unit that is not able to cool my house. Instead of a 3 ton unit they needed to install a 4 ton unit, and refuse to change it. So word of caution to anyone using their services. Make them calculate the size of the house first.

Please reconsider if you are looking at this company. I had an horrific experience with them that…read moreis too long to even try to explain, and it went on for about 3 months, with numerous visits. The long and short of it is that they sent out two clearly incompetent people, who fixed everything but what was needed on my washing machine, including taking out the better motor I had for a better machine than the one I ended up with. Everything they did was wrong, and cost me my machine. They reimbursed me for what I'd spent after all the hell, but they came and took their parts out of my machine, and their reimbursement was just enough to buy a much more cheaply made machine - not one the quality of my original. My old one was toast! Then about 2 months later, the new one did exactly the same thing I called Lanny Adams for and as it turned out according to the new company I called, there was lent somewhere down the line that had Lanny Adams known what they were doing, they would have fixed the old machine the first time. Plus the office workers are all nice, but they defer to the owner on everything, and he micro-managers grown people like their are children, and talks to you like he's reprimanding you like a crusty old grandfather -- while being dead wrong! Amazing. They might have been good at one time, but I've never experienced such an unnecessary nightmare. In addition to all the times I had to be home for the service calls, they would still only give a time range of about 4 hours, and not a definite time. It is all about them, and they pretend to be about you. Bad, bad news and not worth the headache. If you want to gamble that you'll get a horror show, they Lanny Adams!

I needed some electrical work done on my 60-year-old ranch house, and Good Electric had come…read morerecommended. The fellow they sent for the estimate, Jeff, wasn't just thorough, though. Within 10 minutes of looking at my house, he noticed that my service drop (wire from the road to the house) was frayed, probably because of squirrels. He commented that GA Power was in charge of that line, and I should call them immediately. I did, and they came immediately when they heard what the problem was (apparently, that's a dangerous situation). Well, after GA Power left, the power "brown outs" I had been experiencing for YEARS stopped. (I had just figured that the wiring in the house was old, and you were going to get a dip in power when you turned on the dryer while the fridge was running. I also figured that the whole house would need rewiring--ugh.) So I was already happy about having called Good. Without spending a dime, I had gotten a serious boost in my power on Jeff's recommendation. The estimate he gave for the work I needed (no whole house rewire, thank goodness) was fair, so I hired Good to do the work, which consisted of adding an outlet below my power box, adding power to my new deck, installing a new outdoor fixture, and changing an existing light fixture into an outlet, also on my deck. A sweet young man named Rohan (Rojan?) came to do the work. He was very professional, cleaned up spotlessly after himself, and actually did a better job than we expected (even though the deck wiring job was to run cable underneath the deck and therefore would not be visible, he didn't just slap it up--it looks and works great). The outdoor outlet change-over was giving him some trouble, but he stayed and figured it out without getting flustered (the problem was from an earlier fix). We were highly impressed with his work and his demeanor. I would definitely hire Good again.

With water spraying into the closet, we quickly called around looking for a 24-hour plumber with decent ratings. Several of the more recognizable names in the area were not 24-hour, but Atlantis dispatched Tony S. with a 40-minute arrival time. Tony arrived, quickly assessed the situation and got the water shut off. Then, he went to work to replace the section of pipe. Suspecting a pressure problem, he ran those checks as well, ultimately finding the burst section of pipe was old and had weak or damage spots and the pressure was fine. He did point out some changes we might consider (previous owner had self-installed this water heater), but there was no high-pressure or dire warnings just to secure more work. Now, it was an emergency fix in the middle of the night, so I won't say it was cheap, but not sure what plumbing service is these days - we recently had other plumbing work done by another company & our jaw dropped at that bill. Tony was fast, friendly and got us back in business. We may have a new go-to plumber.
