I don't quite understand the point when a human server--often just whichever nearby staff member happens to be passing by, rather than your actual server--still has to take the food off the tray and place it on your table. It ends up feeling inconsistent and impersonal. I know AI and tech are here to stay and I embrace it where it fits, but we have to ask ourselves: does this actually enhance the customer experience?
