I used to really love this place. Then the owner sold out and the new owners are not near friendly as the brother and sister that was running the place for their mother. . I really don't like the fact that they don't have filled donuts prepared. You have to wait for them to fill the doughnut. Never like the glazed donuts they have a lot to be desired. This place has gotten it together. Sausage, cheese and jalapeño kolache both big and small are really good. The small has jalapeño slices the large is a jalapeño sausage. The buttermilk donuts and the apple fritter are very good also. And each time I go there I received a susprise of three donut holes in my bag at no cost. One of the best donut shops in the area. Fast friendly service. I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get my order. They offer a great variety of donuts, Kolache's, croissant breakfast sandwiches and breakfast tacos. Ah my Achilles heel. Small little family owned place right down the road from my house. It's kind of hard to get in here heading eastbound on louetta, but y'all will figure it out. They have regular kolaches and then my favorite, the spicy chappel hill. I only order one, because in the words of r. These ARE doughnuts! They have found a way to make them dense, thick, sweet and light and airy at the same time. They melt in your mouth but pack a sweet delicious punch! I found them through a yelp review. They dont have a website or anything. So that's different. However, they made a special order for me to take to my class and all I needed to do was email them! This is my favorite donut shop in the Houston area! Everyone who works here is so friendly and in these covid times they are taking every safety precaution. I have seen them offer masks to customers who forget or don't bring their own. I feel safe going in for delicious donuts and kolaches. It's so hard to pick a favorite thing so I always just load up because also the prices are great. Came here after taking my daughter to a dentist appointment. she really wanted donuts and our fave Shipley's was too far off our path. I got donut holes, brisket Kolache, glazed and powdered donut. While almost nothing beats warm Shipley's glazed donuts. Everything was pretty tasty. I could've done without the onions in the Kolache, I love onions but the texture threw me off in a kolache. I had the small sausage and cheese kolache and small sausage and cheese croissant kolache. They used the standard sausage with cheese inside, I'm not a huge fan of it. Though the bread and the croissant were really good. The croissant was actually flaky and not soggy like most places. I also ordered an old fashion chocolate dipped donut. My first bite into it took my breath away, and not in a good way. I took another bite and the same thing. The chocolate frosting had this weird perfume/alcohol taste to it. I couldn't smell anything out of the ordinary. I pulled off some of the chocolate to taste it by itself and once again that weird perfume taste. Two little nibbles on that and I threw it away. They would've gotten 4 stars if it weren't for the donut, maybe they had a bad batch of chocolate? I don't know but it was worth eating whatever it could've been. read more

We have been coming to OMG for the past 3 years and we love this business for many reasons! First are the doughnuts! They aren't greasy type of doughnuts you find at Shipley's. Second, they have a larger variety of doughnuts and breakfasts foods at good prices. So if doughnuts aren't you thing, they still several options to try. What sets OMG apart from the rest is the service. It's a locally run business with people who actually care about their customers.
