I tried a used foldable bike and it was ok, maybe, but reminding me of how uncomfortable biking has been for me, not liking a ten speed riding position, balancing, seat height, handle bars awkward to reach, all the things that make me prefer walking! It had 6 speeds but no way to switch the gears. So wanting to follow their enthusiasm and tweak the seat height and the handlebar position we chatted awhile about all kinds of fun things with music, and riding as new gear switches and cables and magic transformed this potential bike into a sweet ride. It felt like a different bike- smooth, easy, I actually said out loud, "I Love it, sold." I love that they're nearby and if the bike needs any adjusting I can bring it to them. They were so fun and kind. I will be back to visit just to say 'ello. Thank you my new friends!

We first stopped at our nearest big box home builder's store and although they have plenty of refrigerators they don't keep any in stock, the earliest delivery was about 5 days out. We couldn't manage without a refrigerator for that long so we left and went to check other places. We had never been to Whitco, but I thought we should check them out as I had heard it was a good place to get appliances. Whitco didn't disappoint, they had lots and lots of refrigerators from lots of different manufacturers. The best part was most were in stock!! Yay!! We selected our new refrigerator ( and they were a much better price than the big box store). I will definitely drive out to Whitco the next time I need an appliance!

So I called Landry's and they said they were happy to take a look. I stopped in Friday afternoon and Neil fixed it up right then in about 5 minutes! I had all the pieces so he was able to put it together quickly and they are reattached very nicely now. They didn't charge me ANYTHING for this! Excellent quick service - highly recommend!!! The better reason is for by far the best American barbecue food in New England and probably in the Northeast coastal regions. It's at the wonderful B.T. Apparently they deemed my existing stuff as not being up to scratch. Their prices are quite a bit higher than can be found elsewhere. I don't see how that can work for long, given Google. You can basically take Performance Bike prices and increase them ~15%. Most LBSs cost a little more than mail-order, but only slightly. I don't know, I just found them to be a little skeevy in terms of salesmen and spewing BS. That being said, their mechanics are quite good and they have done tidy work on my bikes (unfortunately modern ones are way way beyond my skill level to work on).
