Scratch on my $800 recliner ..

If I could give this place 0 stars I would ! My husband and I just moved out from California to North Carolina due to his military orders . They damaged very expensive stuff and lost parts to our stuff as well!! They also just ripped our bookcase apart , ripped our entertainment fireplace ... so unprofessional!! This is how we treat our military??? By damaging the hard earned/worked stuff ... HORRIBLE DO NOT REQUEST THESE PEOPLE !!

    It can't be fixed

Tip #1 Check the hours they work for you! Keep track of the hours! You will thank me later. Tip #2 If you have family members who want to make some money, pay them instead of hiring movers. Tip #3 if they break something considered gone. There is no point of trying to reach out to them. They won't get back to you. We hired them for our big move from Salinas to Sacramento. The hours that they said they worked were off. First it was a HUGE difference then they fixed, but there was still extra hours. The quote we got at the beginning wasn't even close to what we ended up paying. We got quotes for $2800 ended up paying $4,000 (that's with a discount we got) Our speakers got damage, I reached out to them through email. Still not answer. Our tv has a line and it looks like it got damage too. Maybe if you need to move around that area they are worth it, but if you're moving far try finding family members and buy them food. lol Oh they charge you the same amount when they drive to your destination and wait in traffic like when they're loading and unloading.

The smaller box on the rt is still opened and not sealed or labeled my bike is under the tarps and behind the other door.

We are military and they helped us do our move from Chula Vista, Ca to Medical Lake, Wa. When they arrived, it was on time. The crew was nice. However towards the end of the packing they decided to leave two TVs mounted so we had a way to entertain the kids. Little did we know, that wasn't allowed. They didn't leave the movers packing paper or boxes for the TVs. They had a mover ( not the packer) help me pack up one last small box. I had some watches in it, a brand new pair of women's tennis shoes in the box bc I just bought them. He talked me into just tossing the shoes into the box. I also had some keep sale items for the kids and my electric tooth brush. When the gentleman went to throw it in the truck he didn't tag it or tape it up. He assured me it will get up to Washington for us and he will seal it properly . Needless to say the box never arrived to my home in Washington. Along with the screws to our bunk bed for the kids. My beach cruiser bicycle. One of the loaders didn't want to put a tag on my bicycle. Luckily , another guy told him he has to... but once I heard him question about putting a tag on my bike, I knew I wouldn't be seeing that again. Some wall home decor. They misplaced the screws and a wooden piece for our cal king bed frame. So we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor when we got home. They put tape directly on our personal items which we learned is a No, No when we arrived in Washington from one of their inspectors. Now we are being told they have 6-9 months to locate our missing items and for us to get some sort of compensation if items not found. I don't want compensation, I want our items found. Makes you wonder who took them, who misplaced them and where is everything at now. I had a custom made sign from my kids out of wood and that was damaged. Bookshelf's broken. Glass in pictures broken as well. They also didn't pack everything up properly. We wanted to bring our new garden hose from Cali and apparently is has to be drained out and drying overnight so the movers wouldn't load. The packers left behind some items that I had to load into my personal vehicle bc they ran out of packing. Luckily I had my vehicle there still and they didn't mind transporting it with extra weight. Once they were all done packing up, they were so eager to get us to write a review for their boss to see so they get bonus points with their boss vs letting us see how it all went on the other side. My husband did leave a review with five stars but it shouldn't be there and he regrets posting it so fast for them. It's a pain trying to get in touch with anyone to help us search for our missing items and it's already been a month. This is my first military move with my spouse and I was greatly disappointed.

He called me quickly and came to assess my situation same day since I am in Prunedale and they are in Salinas. Pricing was transparent and very reasonable for the work and risk involved. The deposit was 1000$ which was scary for me because i was just going off some yelp reviews and putting my trust in a stranger but Jared and his crew didn't let me down! (Just have cash ready for a deposit if you don't want a 5% service charge and to get your moving dates secured!) The guys had great can-do attitudes, cleaned up after themselves, and were kind and courteous to me. Above all , they worked hard and had smiles doing it. Nothing got broken or messed up and they had no problem putting my furniture where I wanted it in the new house. In general had no problem taking direction from me either. I had a lot of plants in large heavy pots (which they cant insure with their company) and nothing happened to them because they packed up the truck with such care and precision. Nothing fell down in the truck and it was a windy bumpy road in some parts! A+++ for the driving skills of the 26 foot truck and the communication amongst the crew. I would hire them again if I had to move! Support local and support a young man with his biz!! Thanks J!

They communicated clearly, integrated me into the team on both the packing and moving jobs to ensure we were in synch on all the details, and never missed a beat. There were a few significant challenges on the move-in side to my 2nd story rental unit. Two 90" sofas were innovatively hoisted from the truck, up and over my balcony, through french doors, and into the living room...done and done. My dining room table includes two acrylic pedestals and a very heavy (and breakable) glass top. Crated and uncrated carefully, the crew took extra time and care to place the rug and assembled table precisely centered under the existing chandalier. As it would be difficult for me to make adjustments later, they far exceeded my expectation on this important (to me) task. I appreciated that my beds were set up, including bedding, all clothes in wardrobes were hung in the closets, and then those large boxes taken away. I was happy (and relieved) that my final cost came in slightly under estimate. I sensed that Leo and the team were carefully working on my behalf to reach this goal. I highly recommend Cardinale Moving & Storage. You guys are great from top to bottom!

The team worked efficiently and packed the truck expertly--everything was secure, and nothing was broken or damaged, which really speaks to their care and experience. Toward the end of the move things did slow down a bit, but we were also coming up on nearly seven straight hours of work, so that was completely understandable. By the end, most of the large furniture items were placed inside the house as requested, and the majority of the boxes were left neatly in the garage, which will make unpacking fairly manageable. Overall, great service, strong work ethic, and a crew that clearly knows what they're doing. I would absolutely recommend Peninsula Pack and Move, especially for more complex moves.

Re-hiring them to move to our new house. They placed all of our stuff in storage and the three guys working did an amazing job. However, when we move to our new home and we hired the same company, we had one less guy for the same price which naturally took them longer. It was not explained that due to it not being in San Benito county the price was different. I figured I was just miscommunication and continue the service. Once we got to our new location, I noticed a lot of the items were broken, and the mover said that it was due to the weight of the item and that the original mover should have dismantled the furniture fast forward to getting our stuff into our home, the movers said they cannot build our furniture to them, not being the ones to dismantle some of it. I explained it was not explained to me that it was going to be an issue and that I did book same company that dismantled my furniture after talking to the supervisor he explained it wouldn't be a problem. However, the mover stated it would take him a long time due to not being the one to dissemble, and I was going to end up paying more for him trying to figure it out. I wish I would've known this, and I would have gone with another company that was five dollars more an hour however they took pictures of the items when dismantling them and explained it was not a problem to put it back together if we hired them. I am now having to build the bed myself having to buy a new dresser that cost me $500 and buying new cubes for my clothes since they were ripped. ** updating to explain for response** My bed frame is from living spaces and dresser is from Ashley's not IKEA. The cubes are from ikea but the actual broken pieces were very pricey and sturdy material. The people that disassembled our furniture from your company or yourself did not explain that they were the same individuals that needed to assemble it in order to not have problems. If I book you for moving out and into a new home it shouldn't be my responsibility to have the same people loading and u unloading my items. The movers made it very clear that they did not know how to put my items together since they were not the ones to disassemble however, I paid the same amount so why am I the one to be at a disadvantage. It shouldn't be the customers responsibility to get the same set of movers. We did speak on the phone that day and the employee said he would try but it would take him "an extremely Long time because all of these screws, I don't know where they go" I pay per hour so it would be on my dime for them to figure it out. Just a recommendation to have your employee take photos and maybe have them send it to you so you can ensure it can be assembled if they book you again and not have to deal with my dilema. No I declined paying $49 an hour for insurance. Both jobs took 7-9 hours so that would be pricey. It was a risk I took and now paying for it. Thanks
