I had time to kill on a Friday afternoon and it just so happened I needed a bagel and some coffee,…read moreso I stopped in this C-Town and it was pretty nice! When you walk in, there is an abundant and colorful display of fruit which is nice. There's also plenty of produce. You'll want to check out the bakery where there are tons of fresh baked options, including some things such as guava bread, which looked delicious. There are a lot of items that cater to an international palate, including products you would use in making dishes from Central America and other places. Of course the usual supermarket items are here as well. The shelves were well stocked and the cashier was friendly. If it was a little tidier, it would have been five stars, but overall, this C-Town puts the C-Towns I have patronized in NYC to shame. Nice place!

PCM is located on Main Street and is home to several different vendors. The building itself is a 3 story, century old industrial building (maybe historic/landmarked). The PCM has been brought back to life as a mixed-space marketplace. It is now the home to a few businesses and vendors. For my NYC folks think Chelsea market vibes but smaller. There is also an event space located in the building that can be rented for any special occasions (weddings, banquets & etc). The building is beautifully restored and visually intriguing while maintaining its rustic charm. It is so nice to see old become new and useful again. Just A Note: Kurzhals Coffee is a must try!

I would say it is better than he explained. The sandwich was huge and the gentleman behind the counter was extremely nice. This little supermarket is amazing. Extremely fresh produce and different ethnic foods which my wife will enjoy. She will likely have me bring her here this weekend, which is fantastic for me because then I get some of her Brazilian cooking! If you're in the area and looking for a sandwich and/or some fresh produce, this is the place to go. I WILL be back for another Cuban Sandwich!

Every time that I stop at Valley Brook, it is a treat for me. I always order a bacon, egg, and cheese on a wedge with pepper and ketchup. Before I head out, I make sure to grab a coffee as well. This combo will have you ready for your mornings. Do not miss out on getting your breakfast sandwich from this deli when you are in Peekskill. I definitely recommend getting your breakfast sandwich from here.

They have always been friendly and helpful. Recently, the store underwent an overhaul and all the aisles were changed to compensate more product. At this time, management had a clerk walking the store with a list and asking the customers if they were having a problem finding anything. If so, he (or she) would direct you to the correct aisle. I thought this was a tremendously professional and courteous idea that I've never seen before. I prefer this supermarket over others in the area because the aisles are wide and the front end is spacious enough not to ever seem overcrowded. The checkout clerks are always cheerful and friendly (to me anyway) The only complaint I've ever had here (but this is not exclusive to this store) are what I call "the baggers" (people who collect recyclable products and enter the bottle room with garbage bags full of empties) and leave no room whatsoever to get in despite the fact that I'm attempting to return only about a dozen plastic bottles. Even the staff complains about them. I discussed this issue with the manager and he then had a sign put up in the bottle room stating that only a certain amount of returns would be accepted per customer. I 'm not sure this solved the problem but I told him not to give cash in return for the tickets. Some stores will only accept bottle receipts for in-store product purchases. I'm not sure if he's implemented this suggestion yet. However, Elsa (the front end Manager) told me that if I was unable to get into the bottle room, to go straight to the Customer Service desk and they would accept my returns. I've had to do this a few times and had no problem. However, for an entire shopping experience, I highly recommend this store.
