My Rockland Trust debit card information was stolen and used by someone in another state to make a…read morepurchase of nearly $1,000.00 I was sent a text message from Rockland Trust on that day asking me if I made this purchase, to which I replied "NO", and the card was subsequently frozen and my account was given a provisional credit for that $1,000.00 fraudulent purchase. Fast forward 3 months later, and the provisional credit I had been given was then RESCINDED by Rockland Trust, and I was told they had been given "proof" by the merchant where the fraudulent transaction occurred that it was not fraudulent, despite the fact that the bank itself CONTACTED me that day when the purchase was made as they suspected it to be fraudulent. Now Rockland Trust is telling me there is "nothing more we can do", despite having already being able to provide me a credit for the fraudulent purchase that they TOLD me about the moment it happened. I will very likely be taking my business elsewhere entirely and never banking here again because of this complete failure, on Rockland Trust's part, to protect me and my financial security despite every indication and piece of evidence they had to do so.

I spent 45 minutes with them on the phone with me and they say I need to go into a branch and sign a signature card. No problem. I get there and they say I need ID. No problem. I have a passport and a driver's license. These two forms are considered acceptable for employment verification everywhere in the US. They say "no" you need a certified copy of your birth certificate. You know what? Maybe I don't need any of that and I will just transfer my money out of the bank. Sounds like a better solution to my problem since Citizen's caused the problem in the first place 11 years ago by not capturing my full hyphenated name and then 11 years later, realizing it and giving me a hard time despite showing two government issued IDs and refuse to fix their mistake. Not a good experience. Do not recommend.

You can't add your card to your apple wallet, you can scan a check into the app. It's all so outdated. My account went overdrawn while working to change things over to a new bank and they charge you for the fees...makes sense. One day I checked and they charged me 6 times at once. So I call and I tell the very rude lady on the phone that I'm taking care of it and I have already switched the bill to my new account. I'm not sure why they keep trying to take it out of this account but in the meantime could you help me stop these fees from coming out. She said no as quick and rude as possible. I had lost my wallet right after moving and the address change really confused things. When I ordered a new debit card and it was mailed to my old address, they immidately fixed the problem. When I came in they figured out the issue, removed any of my emergency shipping fees and had the card at my house this morning (the following day) by 10 am. Having my card to pay my bills at the beginning of the month is of course very important and I really appreciate them understanding and being so helpful!

She even sent me a card thanking me for allowing her to help me with my questions?!? Yes she was thanking me for the opportunity to help me! I came to our in-person meeting fully prepared, with all the required documentation ready, because I understood what information was needed to obtain the pre-approval I was seeking. He collected my documents and kept them so he could enter my information into his system. I was promised a pre-approval letter within five days, yet a week and a half later, I still had not received anything. What made the experience even more frustrating was that he repeatedly asked me to provide information and documents I had already submitted. On top of that, he continuously called me during my work hours and even late at night, showing very little consideration for my time and personal boundaries. I am particularly concerned about the handling of my sensitive personal and financial information. In his voicemails, he has stated that he does not have my sensitive information, despite the fact that I had already provided it to him. This has left me seriously questioning where my documents are, how they are being handled, and whether my information is secure. The lack of communication, disorganization, repeated requests for previously submitted information, and disregard for reasonable personal boundaries have completely undermined my trust in this lender. I will not be working with him again, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend him to anyone. A mortgage process requires trust, professionalism, organization, and clear communication. In the past, this was my go-to-branch regarding most transactions, since they are open later than most other branches. Once I arrived at the bank, I approached the teller asking if I coulddeposit my E-Check. The teller was very friendly and professional. He told me that he was unsure if he could deposit the check since he had never seen an E-Check like this before. He then grabbed his manager asking if they could deposit the check -- she too was unsure. She asked the supervisor who then said he would call the number provided by Deluxe E-Checks (which was printed below the check I had brought) to verify. The supervisor acknowledged that they work with Deluxe but followed up saying that he was confident that they don't accept "checks like these." However, both the supervisor and manager didn't call the number and refused to verify the check. Although they were professional about the situation by providing me alternative ways to deposit my check, the fact they did not call the number to verify the check for me is unsatisfactory and disappointing. After asking numerous times if they could visit the website to verify the authenticity of the check or even call the number provided for to verify the check, they refused to do so due to the fact they were "not comfortable." I later called Deluxe E-Checks regarding this situation (as I was unsure as to why I was unable to deposit my check) and the representative said that Bank Of America is a bank that they are partnered and work with. Therefore, they should've known that my check was authentic. Even if they were suspicious about the check potentially being fraudulent, they should've felt comfortable verifying the check through Deluxe's verification website or through a representative. None-the-less, I will be avoiding visiting this Bank of America branch.

Friendly, professional people help you out with whatever services you may need. No one turns their head, pretending to not see you! This makes it easy to get in & get out, particularly during the pandemic. At my local branch, the interior is still locked with the lobby ATM open. Twice now, while paused in what I was doing, bank personnel have opened the door to see if I needed assistance (i did). Just opened the door without me banging on it! Like - I was a customer who needed help! The ATM gives $10 bills, the employees are helpful & courteous and they give a decent rate of interest. My short wish list is checked off at CHB!
