I have used Citizen's Bank for a couple years and never had major problems before so have stuck with it until this point in time. However, Citizen's Bank is currently holding about 400$ of mine and telling me I 'may' be able to get It back in 3 days IF I am "telling the truth about what happened". I am appalled, disrespected, furious, and now screwed on multiple bills!! THANKS A LOT!
I work at a restaurant and after a long double yesterday, I went to this location's ATM to deposit almost 400 dollars into my account. The machine took my money in and apparently malfunctioned and returned my card to me and a receipt with a zero on it! IT DID NOT RETURN MY MONEY TO ME !!!!!
Freaking out I called customer service because it was after hours of this location. Customer service told me to call the branch in the morning so they can physically go into the ATM and figure this out; to give me my money and put it in my account.
Today I called the branch as soon as they opened(10AM) and was told the manager was going into the ATM to figure it out and they would call me back. 11AM comes around, no call, so I call them and they tell me the manager is still working on it. THEN I get a call around 12 from the manager telling me that they don't go into the ATM until Thursday (today is Monday) so they can only file a claim for me until then.....WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Side note: If this was the case why did it take them two hours later to tell me???
I was spoken to very rudely by the manager as he kept saying "Well, if you are telling the truth" "If what you're saying is true"ect... How dare he question me when Citizen's ATM messed up(ITS A MACHINE IT CAN MALFUNCTION) and they REFUSE to help me and give me my money and not even be apologetic or understanding of it????
This is absolutely un-expectable. As soon as I get my money, I am closing my checking and savings account here and taking my baking elsewhere. My entire family is for that matter because they are horrified at the treatment and awful experience I am currently facing with this company. I would recommend you DO NOT trust your money in Citizen's hands, the biggest mistake I ever did and am suffering from now.. read more
