Andrew is the best loan officer I have ever come across with several years of careful research and dozens of interviews. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, articulate, responsive, and just excellent at his profession. We will always come to Leader because of Andrew M. read more

Great bank very friendly wonderful bank to deal with pumping more satisfied thank you

I started banking with leader bank 10 years ago and it used to be great but in the past year to two years, the customer service had really gone down hill. it seems like they no longer care about the person behind the phone or the account like they used to which is like most banks accept it wasn't like this before and it now it is. I have relocated most of my funds to another bank. I only keep this bank open because it's easier than dealing with them to try to close it. read more

Embarking for the first time on the journey of buying a home at the mature age of 56, I felt a lack of both knowledge and confidence. Mike McCarthy and the team at Leader Bank put me right at ease, making the experience educational and exciting. Mike secured for me a first-time homebuyer loan with an amazing rate, and worked seamlessly with my agent and attorney to simplify the process and protect my interests. I highly recommend Leader Bank! I apologize - posted for the wrong Leader Bank. read more

Jason at Leader Bank in Needham was fantastic. He was responsive, thorough, and helpful, and he took the time to answer every question I had in detail. As a first time homebuyer, it was such a relief to have someone I could really trust! I will definitely be recommending Jason to all of my friends. read more

Received a 30 year mortgage from Leader Bank. The loan officer we used was incredibly patient, responsive, and professional. He answered questions on weekends and responded very quickly. His communication was clear and concise. We also got a great rate 4.125%. I highly recommend. read more

A lot of people told me that dealing with a bank when buying a house is the worst part of the whole process. I was referred to Andrew Monticone out of the Needham branch, through the whole process. Not only did he work step by step and helped me to find the best way for me and my family to get this done quickly and without any delays. He was very good at keeping me informed of what is going on and what to expect next. Communication was terrific and understandable all through this. Even though I dealt with Leader bank in Needham I visited the Seaport branch to open my accounts. In both cases I well pleased with the service and the people that work for this Bank. I wanted to use a small bank just because I knew I wouldn't be just a number in line. And I strongly believe that even if Leader Bank grows to a large bank the service and kindness I received will not change. I would love to thank Andrew and leader bank community for a great job and the compassion on which the showed me and my family. God bless you all. Nelson Vargas. read more

Leader Bank is awesome!!! I locked in a fantastic rate and we closed within 45 days. There were no issues at all. I highly recommend them to any Buyers looking to lock in the best rate around! read more

I shopped around quite a bit for a mortgage, and got both the best deal and the most responsive service from Andrew at Leader Bank. Wells Fargo gave me a little bit of the runaround (quoting me one rate, then meeting my other asks but increasing the rate without telling me), and other banks kept stringing me along about whether or not they could meet Andrew's offer. After making the decision to go with Leader it was pretty painless from there - standard documentation, one meeting, and boom, I now own a house. Pretty crazy! read more

Andrew Monticone did mine and my husband's loan when other banks could not do it and we still got a great rate. Working with Andrew was a pleasure and we appreciated how attentive he was and how informative he was every step of the way. Also, no surprise fees at the end! read more

We worked with both Keith and David, as well as their support staff and everyone was excellent! We used a VA loan, so there was more effort on their part but David made sure everything went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better first time home buying experience. read more

Fantastic experience with Leader Bank and Andrew Monticone. I turned to Leader Bank with only 30 days to close. I was told by many in the industry (including my personal and business banks) that Leader Bank was the only bank in MA that would be able to do this time frame. Andrew made it happen. All the paperwork was handled extremely quickly and professionally. He had a team of lawyers and other bankers that got everything moving fast efficiently. The interest rate was great and the fees were on par or lower than anything else I found around town. Go with Andrew, you won't regret it! read more

We loved working with Andrew Monticone. Thalia Tringo, our excellent realtor, recommended that we talk to him about getting pre-approved for a mortgage. We needed to move fast, and Andrew was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and professional. He answered our countless questions, responded promptly to emails and calls, secured us a truly outstanding rate on our mortgage and sent us a lovely housewarming gift when we moved in. He's a lovely guy, he provides an outstanding service and he has our highest recommendation. read more

If you are looking for amazing service, great rates and transparent fees, Leader Bank should be at the top of your list in mortgage shopping. Keith Hapenney and his team (we also worked closely with Kerry McCarthy and Kathleen Hennessy) are amazing. They were able to secure a fantastic 30 Year fixed mortgage for us in an extremely tight timeframe, literally pulling out all the stops to help. I had no idea customer service like this existed any more and consider myself very, very lucky to have found them. Keith and team worked tirelessly--literally day and night to get this done. Keith was amazingly informative answering my questions at all times of day, and Kerry and Kathleen literally worked as fast as we could put the materials in their hands. Thank you to all there for helping us through this process. I have no doubt that our outcomes could have been very different had we not been working with Keith and team and Leader! read more

Andrew was extremely helpful in ensuring we understood the Leader Bank loan process as much had changed in the finance world since we had last applied for a residential 30 year fixed mortgage and bought a home, especially one that would require a jumbo loan option. He helped us from the start with the pre-approval letter and ensuring we didn't over commit in writing what we could afford and what we documented to the seller for the offer, to all the support he provided in helping us apply for the loan and get through the loan approval process and underwriting review of our loan application. He helped us well in advance to have all documents required and move through the approval process swiftly and without any snags or red flags. When we needed to find a strategy for how to best satisfy the loan requirements and down payment for buying the home of our dreams at a great interest rate of 3.8% in the process of trying to sell the home we owned, Andrew helped us consider several options in making it easier for us to lock in a good rate and secure the money required to meet our loan approval and also obtain what we required at closing. This really helped us in ensure our existing home sale did not interfere with our new home buying process and loan approval. We really needed guidance and Andrew was always available to answer questions we had or required any needed clarifications. Two weeks prior to our closing date, Andrew ensured we had everything required for the underwriter and so our closing day went very smoothly and we were even able to close early! We are now in a great home we plan to spend much of our future in for many many years all thanks to Andrew and Leader's commitment to us in seeing the loan process through. I would definitely recommend Andrew for anyone seeking home finance needs as he was recommended to us by a colleague at work who also utilized his knowledge and experience and it definitely paid off for us! read more
