I had the opportunity to work with Physical Therapist and co-owner, Eva Orso, who is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. It is very easy to assess very quickly that she really knows what she is doing and truly cares. Her care in the office as well as providing guidance for what to do at home is amazing. The front of the office, ran by Brandon Orso (co-owner), is wonderful as well. He really knows the ins and outs of working with insurance, ensuring your care is scheduled appropriately, and is very friendly. Eva is also assisted by C.C. C.C. does a great job at balancing all the patients care routines with a friendly and enthusiastic energy. She is always engaging patients and making sure things are running smoothly. My doctor recommended 8 weeks of physical therapy. I'm at my half point of physical therapy and I'm so happy with my progress. At first I entered with my boot then transitioned to two shoes within the 3rd session. Eva is so sweet, caring and gentle with me. I went to South Mountain Physical Therapy after I had meniscus repair surgery and I'm so thankful I did. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, they treat you like family. Eva is amazing and made me feel comfortable the entire time. It was like going to see a friend every week and I really looked forward to PT. She came up with a program suited for me and a plan to work on at home as well. I'm thankful I chose to go to SMPT. I had a really great experience at South Mountain Physical Therapy. This was my first time doing physical therapy, so I didn't know what to expect. The entire staff here is amazing. They treat everyone like family. You can just tell they are all good people. I got to work mostly with Emanuel and I also worked with Cynthia. They took very good care of me and were always very professional. Emanuel showed a lot of patience and he was very good at explaining everything. They know what they're doing. I feel so much better already and I was able to notice a difference right away. It takes work though. It's important to continue to do the work when you're home. After a shoulder injury I was happy to hear no surgery needed, just PT. Even though my doctor recommended places within their "core" network, I decided to check out South Mountain PT and could not have been happier. The facility is small and clean, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, while remaining casual and fun (or at least as fun as PT can be). Appointments were easy to set and I really felt like the entire staff (five people) knew who I was and the progress I was making. Most importantly, over a 6 week period they were able to nurse me back to health and get me on to an exercise program I could do myself. I would have no problems referring friends or family to Eva and her team. I hope to never need to go back, but glad they are there if I do. read more

After being tossed around in my office in the skies and being injured in severe turbulence , I find myself here. Not how I envisioned spending my winter but nonetheless anything to avoid spinal injections , (OUCH?) and/or surgery. I found this place a pleasant surprise in my new neighborhood,(I'm still missing my Biltmore area!). It's small and not overwhelming with too many clients. My PT therapist is thorough and very sweet. In other words, she doesn't put me in more pain! The office staff is friendly and never in a rush to shoo you out if you have questions.
