Unfortunately, my second visit resulted in a serious and medically documented injury. During that appointment, my lower back was adjusted in a way that immediately led to severe complications. Shortly afterward, I was unable to have bowel movements, and my condition rapidly worsened to the point that I had to go to the ER. I was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with a perforated colon, requiring a week-long hospitalization. After being discharged, I contacted Dr. Knutson directly. He acknowledged the situation and told me he had informed Dr. Alex Twenge, DC, and that corrective care would be provided. Despite those assurances, no meaningful or appropriate follow-up care occurred. I have text message documentation confirming these communications. This experience raised serious concerns for me about the standard of care and the lack of accountability afterward. The physical, emotional, and personal impact has been significant, including time lost with my family that I cannot get back. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options and proceed with extreme caution before seeking treatment here.

We got in right away with no issues. The experience we had was so much better than any expectations we had. We expected to be squeezed in and have a lot of hassle proving the care that she needed. What we got was a wonderful reception and set of people over the entire office. The front staff was incredibly helpful getting us checked in and comfortable. They were also very polite and happy while making the entire visit easy and pleasant. Dr. Mitch was above and beyond, however. He read through the online records from our current doctor's office. He knew right away what was going on and exactly what to do to get my wife some relief. He didn't try to sell us on a lot of extra things - he simply got to the root of the problem and helped her to feel better. But then, he sat and talked to us about her diagnosis and things she had been doing and offered some very helpful and insightful advice that we could take back and discuss with our current care providers. He recommended cold laser therapy to help heal a particularly troublesome area for her, and also performed a cold laser treatment on the spot. He also went more in-depth on some suggestions we'd gotten before, but he explained them in much better terms to help us understand which treatments we may want to really focus on and which we should perhaps stop. Overall, my wife left feeling much better, and we came away much more hopeful about solutions that will lead to permanent relief and not just pain management. Best of all, the cost was much better than we were used to, even including the cold laser treatment. I couldn't recommend this place and the staff enough. It was a fantastic experience.
