I sat down rather than stand in line, so one woman who came in with a dress to be altered took advantage of my momentary distraction and took my rightful turn and skipped me. I ended up waiting at least another 30 minutes (an hour total) to be given attention and she had major alterations that she wanted the same day and she didn't even have on the same undergarments that she was planning to wear. As you can imagine this made the woman pinning the garment for alterations at a disadvantage. She had to keep repinning the garment at the woman's whims. Her daughter along with her had a formal dress to be hemmed. But she didn't have the shoes she'd be wearing and the woman who had to mark up the dress for alterations had to go search for similarly heeled shoes that the woman described she'd be wearing so she could stand on top of them to have the dress prepared for alterations. Both mother and daughter wanted their clothes ready the same day within a few hours. So inconsiderate of the workers. And of the other customers. I will not be back. I am sorry that the tailors and other workers there have to tolerate these kinds of inconsiderate jerks.

Saltbox Valet can also hem your pants, skirts, etc. and do mending if you ask or if they see an issue. They also have a regular laundry service. If you have an emergency, they can probably help. If there's a certain day you must have your items back, tell them. I've been asked on each visit for the day I want my things ready -- and they've always been ready at that time. I dropped it off on a Monday and the receipt mentioned to pick it up Wednesday after 4 pm. The ladies working the counter were both friendly and helpful. Plus they have a convenient drive thru on the side of the building. I like that they do all the cleaning in house rather than transporting it to a different location. However, the employees working the day you pick up your items may not be the ones that cleaned it. I ran into this when i returned. Although the dress was cleaned, it was not pressed since the employee who originally cleaned it thought they did not get all the spots. When I returned Thursday to pick it up, we reviewed the dress and it looked spotless. I was going to take it then, but she asked if I could return a different day to pick it up so that they could press it. I returned the following week to pick it up. The dress was clean, pressed, and beautiful. I appreciate the additional time they took on it even though it was inconvenient to visit an additional time (a call or text would have been preferred). Overall, I had a good experience here and recommend this dry cleaners to others!

When I received it, it still had an odor and markings. When I called, the person said dry cleaning does not remove odors and that I should spray it with perfume. I have always had odors removed with dry cleaning so I'm not sure what they actually cleaned if it still smelled and had markings.

The store was already closed, it was after hours (by about 15min) but he drove back and opened up the place for me to give me my clothes. He remembered me from when I dropped my things off. Everything is clean and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm already a regular customer but now more than ever.
