Perpetually understaffed, even now after the worst of COVID. Unreliable texting "service". Example:…read morereceived a text at 10am that my meds were ready. One hour later, at the counter, they were not. When I asked the tech why my text told me they were ready, she said (and I quote) "the text was to tell you they weren't ready yet". I asked her to think carefully about what she said. Her only reply was to mumble that she'd expedite it. They have a uniformly bad reputation amongst physicians in the valley, particularly regarding pain meds. I realize it's a problem topic, but they consistently dragged their feet to fill my mom's opioid Rx that were issued by her hospice doctor/nurse. The delays were massively inconvenient as I needed to ask a neighbor to stay with her while I waited and waited for meds she desperately needed. Walgreens across the street seems to be doing a much better job.

Everything was fine until I got up to the counter. The lady was nice enough to look at me like I was stupid because I wanted to check out my items, didn't acknowledge me beyond that, and then continued talking to her coworker behind the counter treating me like I was a nuisance to their conversation. She was so condescending that she actually proceeded to throw a ball of paper she had crumpled up onto the counter in front of me instead of in the trash, and her coworker had to come over and take it. I had four items and it took five minutes for her to ring them up because she was so preoccupied with her conversation, and I couldn't pay until they had been scanned. Then, before I could swipe my card, she held my bag over the counter which was fine, but when I went to take it, she grasped it tightly and glared at me. So I had to swipe my card and awkwardly enter the pin with her dangling my bag in front of my face and refusing to allow me to take it because I hadn't paid. Why she couldn't just leave it behind the counter instead of dangling it next to my head is beyond me, but she seemed to have decided that because I was a younger client I wasn't worth doing the job she's paid to do. Nothing like being treated like a nuisance, having trash thrown in front of me, and then treated like a thief. Seriously, just go to Food Lion instead. Save yourself the humiliation.
