My friends and I were headed up from Columbus, OH to the North Fork Mountain trail to do some backpacking. I have some serious allergies and take Claritan D daily...something I had forgotten at home. We walked into the store at 9:50 only to find the pharmacy closed. I knocked on the window and the pharmacist said he had shutdown for the night and couldn't start the computers back up to get me what I needed. So I was pretty much screwed. I went to the over-the-counter section looking for something that might work on something in combination that might work and when it got to 10pm, they cashiers shut off part of the lights in the store, which I'm not even sure is legal? They should have been straightening up the mess of a store instead of leaving it for the morning crew. Products were spread all around, trash was on the floor, and many things needed restocked including their 1 gallon water containers. There is no water on NFM, and one of my buddies was a gallon short yet no one would go in the back and get him one. So much for southern hospitality. I hope their corporate office sees this and finds out their overpaid pharmacists are checking out early.

The best part of this Walgreens is that it provides customer service that other pharmacies in town…read morejust don't have. They are fast, friendly and efficient. Yeah, they will sometimes mess up an order, but maybe only once a year, no big deal. My BIG complaint are the over-attentive workers. the other night I went in and was compulsively greeted by 3-4 workers. I know they are trying to be friendly but I felt stalked. Also, stop telling me to "Be Well." I get it, it's your tagline. Now go away.

I was contracted by managerial positions for my entire career from California to NYC counseling large client hires. Problems are best solved by the contact of a company at the 'Level not to snowball up the ladder.' If a manager or employee cannot satisfy a client/customer, it looks bad on their actions moving up the command ladder and they should maybe consider a different profession. They'll see it here...
