Doesn't look like anything special....it kind of looks a little dumpy, that being said...can we go back right now? The outside is nothing to look at, in fact we've lived in the area over 5 years and only just decided to try it. The inside while outdated, did seem clean. I can deal with outdated if they keep the prices where they're at. It was delicious! The big stand outs for me were the crab rangoons, the coconut shrimp, the fried dumplings with sauce, and the sugar donuts. The Mongolian BBQ was quite good as well, but I felt it needed more sauce....I'm going to call that my fault for not speaking up and just asking for more. The service was good, drinks refilled quickly, and dirty plates removed quickly. I'm pretty sure I've asked my husband everyday this week if we can go get some coconut shrimp to take out (I've been under the weather, or we would have been back) We will be regulars here in no time! I used to come here as a kid and it looks absolutely the same. There is a back section where the staff refills drinks that is open frames towards the top half of the wall that's new, but the booths, tables, artwork, bathrooms, front desk, and overall layout is the same. They do have some new food selections since the last time I came (years ago) - limited sushi, peanut butter chicken, and bourbon chicken! All things my family likes so we will be back. Well when I ate the food it didn't even taste like Chinese. I could have made it better at home then what they did. Service was the same as most places seem nice but give you trash food. I didn't like it but when I put it in the microwave at home it tasted better. Palmyra is better. Also there was hair in my food. read more

Been a favorite for a long time. I've been coming to this place off and on over the years since 2001. Usually for lunch break during the years I worked in Lebanon. I have heard many negative things from many people about SCB but I myself have never seen or experienced most of them. The only things I could even pick at is they need friendlier and more attentive help at the register. You need to make a customer feel at home and welcome when they come in and when they check out regardless if it is their 1st visit or their 50th. They also need to do a better job of cleaning the restrooms. That said the proprietor is very friendly and can usually be seen working in the kitchen or the Mongolian BBQ pit. In the pit you can make up your own meal with fresh ingredients and have it cooked to your liking right in front of you. I no longer get up that way very much anymore and have to say that I actually miss eating here. Favorite dishes of mine there include the Mongolian BBQ beef. The Jalapeno chicken. The styrofoam dishes are annoying. The gloves are in a box so everyone touched your's too as theirs came out. The bill was too high for the quality. The bill was presented after the second plate. I am worried that I might get sick. I left hungry. Your chairs and benches indicate that you are probably not reinvesting in the business. Shame on you! Very inexpensive and it shows in the food. When you are paying around $13 for a buffet and beverage it hard to complain . Food was adequate major complaint was it was ran down and a little dingy. Ordered a large order today and one thing I ordered was the Dragon and Phoenix. The General chicken was great, but the shrimp was really gross. It tasted so bad that we had to spit the shrimp out and could not eat it at all. It tasted spoiled and should not have been used. It ruined the entire dish and spoiled our appetites. read more

Ughh! Don't do it, I had hoped after all the Covid closures and requirements they would have cleaned up their act but... no. The food was poor quality at best the boneless bbq ribs were mostly fat or too tough to chew, the honey chicken was 70% gristle and when I got the fried rice it appeared to be they tossed in whatever left over meat they had which was mostly gristle and chewy whatever. I left about half a plate. While I was finishing up with ice cream since they can't mess that up as it's hershey cups. The old lady came and asked if I was finished and took the plate of fried rice but not the other plate which made me suspicious so I watched her and she took it to the rice warmer on the buffet and dumped it in, despite that I'd eaten about half and added a TON of soy sauce. Yes, I filed a report with the state on it but since they have to catch them in the act to fine them I'm sure nothing will be done. I don't care what anybody says my family and I have been coming to this buffet for years and it is just so great! I love the food it is almost always hot and fresh because the buffet food goes fast and it is always excellent taste and everything is just too good always leave super full because it is so good I can't stop eating and I can get whatever I want and as much of it as I want! The staff is super friendly and courteous which alone makes this place just a great place to go and to be! They don't have time for chit chat as they are super busy so get over that! Basically i got lost from Philly going south, thought id look for a Buffet joint near by. It would be either Golden Corral or this and I'd pick this. The waitress was nice & greeted us to out table. All the things negative you hear about this place. I got to give a 5 stars! I always get great tasting, healthy food to fill me up. No matter what I get they give an abundance off. Went in to the restaurant to get takeout. The woman at the front said hello and while I was deciding she apparently continued a conversation she was having on the phone via speakerphone. She wasn't paying much attention to me so I had to get her attention to place my order. She didn't say thank you or how long it was going to be...she then left with her phone (not on speakerphone) and walked away. Customer service is lacking here. It's disappointing that this is the only Chinese buffet in town. My mom, and I went there yesterday with my little one and we weren't blown away for sure. There's not a ton of variety like we're used to. What was there was good though just not super hot. I think their lo mein is delicious. The staff was not terribly friendly and they charged 2.95 for my two year old. I'm used to 3 and under being free. He ate a few apple slices and some chips! If there were any competition in town I'd probably give them 3 stars because there is room for improvement, but seeing as they are the only one I have to give them credit for not going completely local and dumbing down the food to cater to locals. With the exception of a southern USA regional chain specializing in them, the mongolian bbq here is the best I've ever eaten. There are a few places around the area that try, but they all fail miserably in comparison to the mongolian bbq here. I've been to buffets across the country and I have to say this was prob the worst I've ever been to. The food wasn't fresh, the quality of the fresh cooked food once asked for it was blan and tasteless. The bathrooms.. I've used cleaner bathrooms at run down gas stations. The service wasn't bad however wasn't friendly and when they stand there looking at you like it's time to leave wasn't the service friendly environment you'd expect. Stopped in for a takeout order. First person couldn't understand us, so she passed us on to another lady (who wasn't very friendly). I circled my order on their takeout menus, the lady repeated the order and they STILL GAVE US THE WRONG FOOD! So much for our "surprise" birthday party. Give these folks a chance. I really have boiled it down to communication because they will do everything in their power to make sure we have really good food. Today they made me their special coconut shrimp for my husband and myself because it was not on their buffet. They brought an entire plate to my husband and I "specially prepared for us."! OMG! If you guys haven't tried their coconut shrimp you are missing out! And their Saturday night buffet is to die for! Mom and Dad take a personal approach to adding entries to the buffet. Been going here for almost 8 years and it has never been tastier nor more personal. By the way-we we're prepared to pay additionally for the coconut shrimp and they included it on our charge for the lunch buffet. I am from the San Francisco China Town area from days gone by. im usually not mean and i dont like to write bad reviews, but this i had to do. i ate there today instead of going to this awsome pub and having a guinness, and it was ok. i mean the food was ok , wish it had a better variety. so anyway went to get my second plate and my better half pointed to a bug on the wall. it was a roach and it wasnt a little one it was a bronx basement size roach. the waitress was embarrsed and squished it with a napkin. they also expected me to pay until i complained well they handed me the check after that. so anyway dont do it please i beg of you peoples just go to a&m instead thanks and godbless read more
