I'm not sure when the transition to new owners happened - March 2026 maybe. Anyway, 4 of us made reservations for Saturday night. We were seated right away by a friendly staff. By the time we left, the restaurant had quite a few diners. This dining room is quite pleasant, pretty much the same as before. Our food was all quite good. The menu is all new - be careful looking at menu photos online - some are from the prior operation. I am attaching current photos. I'm pretty sure the current menu is more affordable and less extensive compared to the prior operation. Nice friendly service. The saloon is separate - we did not try it.

For lunch we had the Red Goat BLT on focaccia with goat cheese and the Gold Standard hamburger. Both of them were excellent. The rosemary focaccia and brioche hamburger bun were made in the restaurant and extremely good. I'm a baker and I know good bread. The bacon on the BLT was thick and had a flavor that really came through. The goat cheese really made the BLT shine! The hamburger had a very generous portion of angus beef burger that was grilled to perfection and the aioli was a perfect condiment. The dill potato salad we both had was perfect for lunch on a warm day. Everything we ate here was perfectly made and for such a beautiful environment and upscale restaurant, the prices were really very reasonable. The dining room was elegant, but comfortable, and our waitress, Natasha, was truly a pleasure--she really took good care of us and had helpful answers to our numerous questions. She is a real star! Unfortunately, we don't live near Columbia so we can't eat here regularly, but whenever we find ourselves anywhere near Columbia we will definitely eat at the City Hotel.

Great beer selection on tap--including the Red Trolley Ale from Karl Strauss--and the pizza was outstanding. Honestly, I don't understand how a place this small can make such a delicious pizza. We ordered two extra-large pizzas, and they were so good the leftovers got eaten on the ride home and again later that night. Big shoutout to our waitress (brunette with a nose piercing--wish I got her name). She was fantastic, attentive, and kept up with our crew of soda-loving kids without missing a beat. Fast service, great food, cold beer. If I ever end up back in Columbia State Park, this will absolutely be my first stop.

Popped it into the air fryer, and it turned out fine :) I wanna say... the size is smaller than I remembered but I also can't confirm. And yeah, next time, I'm gonna either see if they have their hamburger pizza or just get a marinara pizza with chicken and basil (or just their Margherita). Reallllly wish this place was closer to the Bay, but appreciate it again for having someone who visits Columbia enough to deliver to me :)

They are by far not only the best in Columbia, but the whole area! They probably even beat Cinnabon they're so good! The workers here are absolute sweethearts!! And it's perfect timing that they open so early so I can get a nice sweet treat with my coffee in the morning!! These are fabulous!!! She also has a Columbia Cates Tea House which I actually have yet to eat there but it's also adorable and that one opens at 11 am I believe so I'll have to come a little later to try that one too and get the full experience!! The Ambiance is adorable!!! It's all white with cute lacey accents! The girly vibes get me EVERY TIME! It's like stepping into a Disney princess bakery, and the tea house is that way too! Love love love these places and so many delicious options here!!

You have to come super early if you want to get what you like. The roll was a bit dry and cakey.. The service was exceptional. Not only did the employee add extra frosting but he also heated it! We often order multiple orders of their gyro meat à la carte to go. We use it to make many of our future meals that week (well...if it lasts that long...we often devour it as soon as we're back home). I feel abundantly blessed that Yianni's opened up in the Sonora area. The place is brimming with charm and good vibes. They offer regular specials, and their standard menu is full of flavorful options. No matter your dietary needs or preferences - they got you. We dined in here recently and the staff couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. If you want quality Greek food made with well-chosen ingredients and served with genuine smiles - Yianni's is the spot. Trust.

Service was very friendly, attentive and not pushy. We tried the spanakopita and the flaming cheese for appetizers. I always love spanakopita, but had never tried the cheese before. The best part? The server squeezed a lemon over to extinguish the flame. Crispy, flavorful and gooey on the inside-what a treat! I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate with a side of green beans. While the chicken and pita were delicious, the green beans stole the show for me. Cooked in a tomato broth with Greek seasoning and simmered with potatoes and carrots, these beans were next level. I'd go back again just for this side (and of course the spanakopita). There's so much more of the menu to explore. I can't wait to come back and try something new!
