We've picked up Two Acre sourdough and cookies from MiWuk Market before, but today we finally dropped by the store. It's easy to find in the Junction, located next door to Subway. There was only one other person in there when we arrived, but by the time we left it was packed! Counter staff was super friendly and I love that you can see the hard work that's happening in the back of the house. It's such a cozy vibe. They post their daily menu to Instagram so I already had a list of what I wanted, but it all looked SO GOOD so we left with much more than originally planned. Bagels: the BEST and I mean BEST sourdough bagels that I've ever had. When others make them a lot of times they turn out too dense, but these were perfectly puffed on the outside, a little tangy, and chewy when you rip into the bite. YUM! Today they had cheddar, plain, and everything. Classic Sourdough: perfectly cooked, perfectly chewy. I've had the cheddar-jalapeño before and it had a great flavor but that loaf was a little too chewy for me. The classic hits just right. They also have flavors like apple cinnamon, garlic, and gouda rosemary... just to name a few. AND they have some gluten-free if that's what you're into or need. It's coming fresh out of the oven regularly. Cookies: don't sleep on the sourdough cookies! They're perfectly chewy, large, and so flavorful. The molasses are my favorite but honorable mentions include snickerdoodle, peanut butter, and chocolate chip. They also have an assortment of cakes - we opted for a huge slice of carrot cake that was a "small" - and desserts. There were cinnamon rolls, tiramisu, and honestly so much more that I blacked out a little and wanted one of everything. All in all, we walked away with a full bag of bread and treats for only $32! We decided to stop into this cute little bakery because we were a few minutes early to our destination. I wasn't hungry, so my husband picked a few items that he thought he might like . Sourdough snickerdoodle cookie, breakfast muffin, and the nice gal threw in a lemon tart. The breakfast muffin was covered with crumble and oats which made my husband anticipate a brown sugar crumble topping like you would put on coffee cake . Except this crumble tasted like breadcrumbs with a few oatmeal pieces sprinkled in. The muffin itself was like a carrot cake with little bits of carrot and raisin visible with just the slightest hint of spice, otherwise, tasteless, although the presentation was very nice . The snickerdoodle cookie had a nice sour flavor but was dry and unappealing. The lemon tart had no lemon flavor. Maybe it was marked wrong? I've heard great reviews about their sourdough. The BEST sourdough in town. I'm in love with their multigrain sourdough. They have so many options. Bread is so fresh and delicious! We love their rolls for holiday celebrations, and just appreciate their contributions to our community, can't get enough of their delicious bread!! It has been a while since I've been in, and they have added more! Lovely display and local items for sale. Everything is baked fresh and while I was in the owner was taking out fresh cookies and waiting on bread to come out of the oven. It smells amazing walking in the door and you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. I love love love the jalapeño cheddar sourdough bread and their cinnamon rolls are to die for. I often pick up goodies here for my friend who has a gluten allergy, she can actually enjoy the treats she loves so much. The owners are so sweet and kind, you couldn't ask for better service or better treats. If you havent checked it out yet you should definitely give them a try. They are now on doordash! Really was great to get a good loaf of sourdough bread and bagels made without all the additives store bought brings! OMG the dark chocolate orange cranberry Blondie made with the sourdough was amazing! Service is great and they even let me put a loaf of bread aside because we were late getting there and I wanted to make sure I had one. read more

This is a MUST visit! Just around the corner from the Sonora BEST WESTERN, this is a clean, organized and friendly bakery! I really REALLY like the option of their 'Mini Loaves', so you can try various flavors without needing a wheel barrel to haul it all back to the car! LOL! I bought several 'Mini Loaves' as gifts for the FOODIES in my life! This particular sourdough makes the ULTIMATE toast with a unique and fabulous 'chew'! They are not sliced. For that, you need to get your sourdough bread from Pence Farm Sourdough on the old main street in Sonora. Their sourdough is very moist and good for sandwiches. This sourdough forward bakery has been a delight since they've opened up. Weekly menus of various sourdough bread creations. All delightfully delicious. Scones, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and even Portuguese donuts if you're lucky. They make rounds, loaves, and mini loaves. Cinnamon butter & honey spreads. Finally I got to try Two Acre Farms in real life. I got a care package sent to me containing some amazing treats. I am not a scone fan at all. I have never been. Until that care package arrived. I am now a giant fan of TAF sourdough scones. Susete and Tony Sorritelli are the owners of this amazing little bakery located right in the Junction, next door to Subway. Susete is always willing to go the extra mile for her customers. Which is why they are also the best. I spent a little over 2 months total this year back in Sonora and practically every day had some sourdough from Two Acre Farms in it. I have now tried many amazing treats offered by Two Acre Farms. All fantastic and well worth the trip from Arizona. I'm very jealous of all my local friends who get to always enjoy the amazing offerings at Two Acre Farms Sourdough Bakery. Make sure you stop by and see them if you are ever in the Sonora area. You won't regret it. Always amazing. Don't forget one of their amazing sourdough triple chocolate chip cookies. Just ok for me. Team was very friendly but the sourdough was just alrite. I tried the scones (they said were moist) and they were dry. The sourdough was good but not amazing. There are other sourdough spots nearby that I thought were way better. I also ordered the cinnamon buns and they did not taste good to me. They were very moist to the point if wet. It may just be flavor and preference but I did not enjoy my purchases. Your miles may vary. Hoping it was an off day and will try again because I have heard lots of great things. +1 extra star because the group was so nice and friendly. Oh my goodness! The gluten free chocolate cake and lemon cookies are soooo good. The sourdough bread was really tangy! I loved it! They even have small homemade flavored butters to choose from. OMG, they've done it again. Better than ever. Now, not only can one get gluten free sourdough, but also a loaf that is virtually SALT FREE. I have to be very careful regarding my salt intake or my BP shoots up and I get a terrible headache. When I got my loaves today I couldn't wait to get home and try a slice. Well, am I kidding? It's never just one slice because of being so tasty and chewy. How fortunate for cardiac patients and others needing to be on a very salt restricted diet. We can still eat something yummy.
