    My salad
    Robert B.

When we drove into the property we both agreed we were happy it was during the daytime. The area is a little sketch. Walking into the property I felt comfortable. The Cafe had its own little cool vibe. Kinda old school with a western feel and very clean. The service was good and we were satisfied with the attention we got without it being over the top annoying. The food was all very good. I took pictures of most of the food ordered. I did deconstruct my salad. But I enjoyed it that way. I have not been feeling that well lately but I was glad my wife talked me into going out for a late lunch or early dinner if you will. We both were very satisfied and will return.

THE FOOD WAS A LITTLE COLD... once it got to our table! I'm not quite sure if the kitchen forgot one of our orders and set the other meals in our party to sit for 45 mins but it certainly felt that way. I ordered my usual local favorite, the ham steak and eggs and it honestly was barely even warm. I'm just thankful the flavor was fantastic and the portion was great, however I would appreciate my food to come out hot. I thought the sourdough bread was tasty, they serve it with an amazing butter spread that gives a country-style flavor. I've come here before and the bread is just as good as before! The place wasn't overly packed and there was plenty of staff, I'm not quite sure why it took so long to get our food. The waitress was friendly enough, she wasn't the most attentive but she got help from other coworkers to check on us. I can tell that regulars are of top priority here which is slightly problematic and messes with the ambiance. TIP: I'm a True Rewards member, I HIGHLY recommend grabbing a free membership card on the floor before eating here so you get a sizable discount on your food! Unfortunately, my waitress forgot to give me a discount, so stay on top of your servers!

Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger with draft beer and fries

I rarely go to Arizona Charlies and it's been years since I ate at the Sourdough Cafe. I know it's a budget locals place and a lot of people go here after a night of gambling. I had a $15 Comp , so I decided to give it another try. The couple times I got a Comp that I used , I did takeout at the PT Express for chicken wings and I did a sandwich once too. It wasn't too busy when I went later in the night on Saturday to my surprise. I sat at the bar since the host / cashier was busy checking people out and couldn't sit me at a table. I ordered a draft beer and the Ultimate Western Bacon Cheeseburger which is a 1/2lb beef patty, pulled pork, bacon, onion rings, cheddar cheese, smoky BBQ sauce, toasted bun with fries for $13.99. I have to say the burger really surprised me , it was old school charbroiled tasty burger like you used to get not the bland tasting flat grill burger or the ones with fake grill marks on it. The pulled pork on it was actually pretty good too considering most places in Nevada don't have really good pulled pork. But the one bad thing I can say and I just realized it was that mine didn't have onion rings on it. I was just looking at the menu now online and realized that now. The fries were decent , but not great , did the job. All sandwiches served with choice of fries, coleslaw or potato salad. Substitute tater tots or sweet potato fries add $.0.99. Substitute onion rings or side salad add $1.99. My draft beer was not very good. I think my mug still had remnants of cleaning soap on it causing it to taste a little funny. I would have asked for a different drink , but my waitress went on break and I was like a little soapy taste won't kill me. It was a large mug , I believe 22 ounces. They have a lot of specials and daily specials to choose from. They are posted just outside the door. The regular burger special is pretty cheap , but I wanted a little more with mine and I do recommend the burger , but next time I would get onion rings instead of the fries.

The salmon was cooked very well tasted great! Veggies were nice and half crispy, but the rice was half cooked, bad... I had to ask for something else for my starch. The dining room is comfortable, although I sat up at the bar area since I was dining alone. My server Felicia was very nice and helpful with the menu as it was my 1st time dining here.

This place was great for a late night bite. When we got here, there was not many people. Easy seating I did have to ask him to wipe down my booth and table. It was a bit dusty with some crumbs understandable because the steak and eggs that I ordered was phenomenal. I loved it.

We came on a Monday for lunch and it was still very busy. Be prepared to wait a little bit especially if you go during peak hours. I will say the line moved very fast and we were seated sooner than the estimated time. I would come here with a small group. Yes, it's popular but it's also very crowded so a large group may be hard to accommodate. As for the food, I gotta say the pesto focaccia chicken sandwich is the best one I've ever had in my life! So juicy, so tender. Absolutely delicious. It came with fries which were also good. The prices are not the cheapest but the portions are very generous! Our waitress was very sweet and friendly and even brought me extra pesto sauce. Highly recommend. Overall, great spot, easy going, casual. They also have a cool retro lounge area that is very fun to hang out while you wait. My only criticism is that the bathrooms are very tight especially for a large establishment but overall, great spot to eat in Vegas.

Got it with the strawberry. Honestly, some of the best blitzes in town. The cheese mixture on the inside is heaven. Taste like a cheesecake wrapped in a soft fluffy blanket again 5/5. Then I got the pork chops and decided to get them breaded basically fried with eggs. Gave this only a 4/5 because it felt like the breading was overtaking the pork chop. All in all, pretty damn great for the price.

It's a popular diner style eatery for locals and visitors alike and are known for their hearty breakfast with generous portions. It was packed on a Friday morning with a wait, but since I was dining alone, I was able to snag a seat at the counter for immediate service. The interior is reminiscent of an old fashion NJ diner which I grew up frequenting and felt like a little piece of home to me. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Southern-Style which typically comes with Country Fried Steak on two buttery biscuits smothered in their homemade gravy, two extra large eggs, hash brown and toast. I got the gravy on the side. Substituted the hash browns for breakfast potatoes and the toast for the grilled blueberry muffin (which comes grilled and with a side of fluffy butter) at no additional charge. I definitely recommend you do that because the toast is a bit redundant when the plate already comes with two massive buttery biscuits. You can also substitute the potatoes and toast for three large pancakes for no additional charge as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and ended with a Coconut Cream Pie to-go for later. I even packed up the blueberry muffin since I was so full. While their prices have crept up in recent years, it's still a fantastic value compared to what you would be paying on the strip. Be sure to pay in cash to avoid a 2.5% credit card surcharge.
