I imagine this place has sprung up to cater to the needs of the chic and wealthy denizens of Palmeria Square who are all on liquid diets, or something. They only sell liquids: juices, smoothies, milkshakes, plus a couple of soups. The most solid thing that they sell is porridge. Considering they are essentially solely a juice/smoothie bar, the options aren't very adventurous. The juices are variations on very standard combinations (apple, orange, carrot, etc.). Where is the fennel? Where is the lychee? Where is the loganberry, or whatever other exciting ingredient takes your fancy. Not that I don't like carrot, orange and ginger as a combination, I just think that if the only thing you sell is juice/smoothies, you should try and make that kinda special. Anyway, I had a small juice, which was reasonably priced at £1.75 (large juices are £2.25, smoothies and shakes a bit more). I felt quite good about myself afterwards, but I do wish they did a bit of food as well, because then I would probably pop there to get my lunch. As it is I can't be bothered to make the trip just to get a drink. read more
