Instead, they give you a table and a menu where you pick what you'd like from sundaes to waffles to regular gelato. I was kind of bummed cause I would've loved to try a couple before ordering. The environment was fun though, lots of space and tables. Service: The service was good, friendly and attentive. Food: the gelato was delicious. Decent price for the size of the sundae which was huge, definitely large enough for 2 people to split. The strawberry gelato was amazing, the soft serve on the top wasn't my favorite, took away from the sundae a bit. If I were to eat here again I would definitely order a waffle, those looked AMAZING.

If you're into ice cream(/all kinds of sweet desserts that have lots of sugar in) and like the 'American Diner' style then you might want to check this place out! It's colourful, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the place has an unbelievable selection of Artisan homemade ice cream and sorbets to choose from! As you probably know by now (because I think I might have mentioned it a couple of times in other reviews) I am Vegan and I was incredibly excited when I saw there were ten vegan sorbet flavours to choose from (TEN!) plus dark chocolate too... This is one of those awesome Ice Cream Parlours that lets you try any and every flavour you want to before committing to one (or two, or a few)! After sampling a couple of the sorbet flavours, I opted for peach sorbet scoop along with an incredibly indulgent scoop of the dark chocolate, with strawberries on top. I expected it to come in a little bowl (seeing as I ordered a "2 scoop" bowl for £3.79 + 49p for fresh strawberries) and was pretty blown away when I was greeted by magnificent lookin' thing! My peach and dark choc sorbet dessert cost me less than £4.30 in total, which I think is fairly reasonable as a treat. Jojo's Gelato would make a super cute place to go for a date, to catch up with old friends (like I did) or take the kids as a special treat! My (non Vegan) friends got incredible looking waffles with ice cream, fruit and whipped cream! I struggled to finish mine and couldn't even consider looking at the waffle dishes for too long, let alone eating them! The only thing I didn't enjoy about this place is that it was quite nippy, we were sat in there for about 1.5 hours so I really felt the chill.

This gelato shop is open late. Until midnight I stumbled in at around 10:30 and found it to be quite full. I got one of two clean tables after ordering. I looked at the menu and it was overwhelming. So many choices. I got the Sweet Treat and my goodness that thing should have a disclaimer that it's approximately a foot tall. Vanilla gelato swirls like whipped cream topped with two cookies and a cookie straw. Beneath the vanilla gelato is chocolate gelato, a banana, peanut butter, whipped cream, Oreos crumbles, and who knows what else is deeper than I could possibly ever venture. I was proud of myself for eating roughly a third. Not proud because it was bad, because it was quite quite good. But proud because I made that much of a dent due to the sheer size

Staff friendly and and service quick. It is not table service for ordering, not essential and not a problem just is always a nice touch in Gelaterias. Very big place with a lot of seating, suitable for both groups and individuals. Conveniently near the Churchill sq shopping centre car park and very central location! Looking forward to returning to try something different all though the pot of hot sauce was so good!

They've got a great range of flavours, almost too many as it's too hard to decide, so I ended up going for the standard 'traditional'. I wasn't disappointed - the filling was tasty and the pastry perfect, the right mix of flake and stodge. They do have other stuff here too - sandwiches, paninis - but I can't imagine I'll ever get past the pasties to try them.

I'd say my grandma probably makes the best pasties in Devon, but I suppose I'm biased... I often find that shop-bought pasties are a bit of a let down, too-thick pastry filled with lots of potato and not enough of anything else. This was not my experience of Our Cornish Pasty Shop. I went for a classic steak pasty and it quite literally knocked my socks off! The meat was tender, the pastry was just the right consistency...watch out granny, you've got new competition!! The range of pasties is just right...not so many that you're left confused, but enough that you aren't left with a simple meat or veggie decision. I'm a bit scared of some of the more unusual ones, like Chicken Tikka...I am of the opinion that a pasty should stick to the original rules! The shop itself is nice, the staff friendly and they have a few tables outside. This is the best place to go if you want a little piece of the West Country in Brighton!

At least in Brighton, where there seems to be endless money to be spent in trendy little food establishments. The latest: Farm. As the name suggests, Farm is going for a rustic country bumpkin image. They use local and organic produce, and locally made bread and they have a seasonal menu, meaning their dishes change according to which vegetables are in season. The décor reflects this ethos- it feels homey and earthy, if a little contrived- but in fairness it would be hard to create a totally authentic farm café in the middle of Brighton! I think they've done quite well- the sandwiches are really fresh and delicious and the bread is really nice. They have soups and other winter warmers too. Every time I've walked past, it has been packed. Perhaps this will be the café to give nearby Bill's a run for their money? Farm may not be quite as high on the cool barometer, but their food is up there!
