First things first, This is my 3rd time here at soundscape and I gotta say these guys are good. First time here I got a viper alarm installed on my 66' stang and had no problems what so ever. Months later I got a full 7' pioneer display with 2 6.5 inch rocksford and 2 6x9 rocksford as well in the stang.... plus a ken wood amp and it sounds AMAZING! Had to come back to get things adjusted but they took very GOOD care of me. Now as I'm writing this review I'm getting another single din jvc radio installed on my Honda Civic and being limited on time they stoped and took care of me ASAP! Gotta love this shop! For speaker installation on your car, it's $60 for your front and back speakers!!!!!! That's for the service alone! I brought my own speakers and materials! He even gave me great advice on what amplifier to buy and gave me a very good competitive quote for the installation! He gives really good advice. Best possible advice ever that's for your best interests. Not his! He even remembers your name!! So friendly and knowledgeable and easy Pros: -super friendly, very prompt, good customer service! Cannot stress enough how nice they are! For those of you who want a quick recommendation and review let me start with this... SoundScape is the real deal!!! John and his Dad provide good old-fashion customer service. My sons said "John should wear a cape and some boots with an "S" (for SoundScape of course) on his chest, because he is a SUPER HERO!!! " (END OF SHORT REVIEW) Now let me tell you why. I have a Chevy Tahoe and in February 2015 I had another shop upgrade my door speakers and add two Amps along with a SUB, I kept my stock radio with a HiLo converter. Long story short they BOTCHED IT BIG-TIME!!! The chirp that tells you that the doors are opened when you put it in drive was also amplified REALLY HIGH and I had engine noise coming through even if the radio was off the other place could not fix any of the issues. After a coworker told me about this place I Yelp'd SoundScape and notice they have great reviews so I took the truck to SoundScape and in four hours John fixed what the other place could not do in three separate day-long visits. The chirp was back to normal (My kids did not need to plug up their ears any time we were dropping someone off and the door was opened) and he got rid of the engine noise too.(Thanks John) I also had issues with my Viper alarm (5706 w/remote start) John once again was able to fix the issues I was having and when he re-installed the alarm he also corrected security issues I didn't even know I had with the alarm. This guy is awesome, It feels like they adopt you into the family at soundscape and they look out for you as if you always been family. Got my entire sound system & subwoofer done there a couple years ago. It's amazing! Recently, I was having some issues with it. The sound would turn off when I hit the brakes or a bump to hard. So I took my car back in. The owner fixed it within 30mins of looking at it. A loose wire was touching another wire every time i hit a bump, causing it to short circuit. He explained all of this to me and then gave me my keys. I was expecting a decent sized bill for the labor, but he said it was such a simple fix he didn't want to charge me. As a woman, I'm always scared i'm going to be ripped off when it comes to car issues. Not here. This shop & it's owner are hardworking, kind, and HONEST people. I will not go anywhere else!! All the reviews of this place are definitely legitimate. I came on 10/12 to get the windows of my 2016 Mazda 3 SGT installed and it went pretty well. I noticed a few scratches on each window that happened from the tint installation but it's no big deal. I believe I received a good deal for the quality of the tint, there's no real way of knowing if my tint is 3M because I didn't stick around to see the film being installed due to my belly growling, but it's something I'll find out in a few years once the tint slowly starts fading. On 10/19 I came back to have a Viper 5706V car alarm installed on the same car, I would've had it done on 10/12 but I needed a DBALL2 Xpress Bypass Module kit and John's price for the kit was a bit high for me, I chose to buy it from Amazon for $33 less than John's price. I have Prime so the shipping was free but it took two days to prepare and another two to ship. The installation took 4 hours but was a great experience because John has a small waiting room with filtered cold water, a tv with Directv, and a nice window to watch the techs work on your car. I only had one problem with the installation, when I "arm" my car the key fob tells me my hood is open when it's not. Unfortunately because my car is so new Directed hasn't uploaded the new software for the bypass kit but other than that I don't have any other problems and I hope I don't run into anymore. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. read more

Got my sound system back in May and may I say I don't have a single regret! I've been to other shops for my system in my cars in the past and their mostly thieves but John is very honest! If you're very straight forward with what you're looking for in sound in your car this is the only place I'd recommend, he will be very honest with what you need and let you know exactly what you're looking for. Not your average review so read this with an open mind and attitude. I've been to a location that services car audio before and the service I got was so terrible and untrustworthy that I was really nervous to come here, I was going to have it done by geek squad instead but with my new car that I bought I just wanted to make sure that someone who does continuous work on car audio would have a lot of experience with it. I can't remember the owners name but he has owned the store for 21 years and I can understand why. I drove about 20 miles because I didn't want any car audio places around my location due to my bad previous experience so I came here instead. The owner greeted me and asked me to take me to the car because I bought my own speakers and wanted them installed because my others weren't loud enough. I didn't have a amp since I wanted to buy then entire system in pieces so before the owner even touched my car he was honest with me and told me that it wouldn't be worth spending the money to replace the stock speakers without an amp, he told me the specifics about it and what I should do and I decided to wait. What really makes this review a 5 Star review is that he didn't try to sell me on an amp like all the other places I've been to, he didn't try to sell me and get me to at least change my stock speakers so he can get money out of me, he told me to wait and come back with an amp to get the sound I wanted. It was the honest opinion and treating me as a person instead of a dollar sign that got me to review this place and I didn't even buy anything here or get my speakers installed, thanks for the customer service! read more

Went here this morning for the alarm install which took about 2.5 hours. I inspected the installation along with the panels that were removed and the install is CLEAN! The sound stopped working in my truck after doing some work on the interior. I took it to one sound shop that said the amp was most likely dead (they start at $400 to replace), but he never pulled out a multi-meter to be sure. Super happy with the service we received here! Our older '04 Toyota Sequoia needed a front speaker and tweeter replacement. The stock JBL sound system in our car had blown speakers for quite some time and they sounded awful and scratchy. We finally decided to take care of it and looked up some local shops and came across SoundScape. We went in on a Saturday and talked to John and he gave us our options. It was important to us to replace our current system with something nearly identical so he recommended we order our particular speakers online and he would get them installed for us. When I received my shipment I contacted John to set up an appointment. On the day of, we dropped the car off in the morning, ran some quick errands, and were called only about 2 hours later to inform us the car was finished. My second time and again this place is truly all professional, had two dash cams hardwired, 4 channel amplifier install, Pioneer double din with apple car play and Android auto installed, complete full upgraded wiring on all speakers, upgraded tweeters and two ceramic limo tinted windows. I would like to have had the complete audio system fine tuned by setting the gain and crossovers with an SMD distortion detector or with a oscilloscope. This place is the only place I've found that comes close to installation and professionalism of Five Star Car Stereo from YouTube .
