I went to the Downey location and was immediately assisted. I requested a full Ceramic tint with windshield included and everything came out great. Prices were comparable and competitive with other businesses in the area but i chose Speedy auto tint because of the convenience and the service they provided when i called. When we arrived, the gentleman told us to go to the Bellflower location instead, even though our appointment was clearly for the Downey Speedy Auto Tint. I went in last Friday for regular 5% tint only on my passenger side window . When it was done inside the shop it looked fine no brown . But as I got home I noticed the tint was brown . I called the store the next day and they told me that it was normal and it's just the adhesive curing in to give it a few days . Now come today Wednesday and it's still brown I called in again and I asked them about it and they told me that's how the tint color is and I explained to the employee this should of been mentioned to me in the beginning because as you can see in the photo my other tints are not brown . Not only that the employee said it was ceramic tint , I never asked for ceramic I wanted regular . This was never mentioned to me when I first walked in to get my tint . When I asked if he can replace it he just denied to replace it and said it wasn't their fault . Now I've been back and forth calling with both Downey & bellflower location to see if they're able to replace and fix the tint but it just seems like they don't want to help . I have another car that I took here 3 yrs ago and it was ceramic tint and it was never a brown color for the tint on the inside . I understand they might have changed their tint or something but they should have let me know that the new tint was going to be a different color than my other tints I have already on my car. Good service and friendly staff. Brought my 93 civic VX in for some much needed tint in this hot Socal weather. I opted for 15% ceramic all the way around. Work came out great. Door panels and hatch hardware removed in order to get the tint all the into the crevices for a more finished look. Nothing was damaged and there were no bubbles after the install. I made an appointment for 9:15am and arrived on time. I asked for 15% ceramic and was told a price and that it would be a couple hrs to install. I had to call them at 5:30pm (they close at 6) and ask what the status of my vehicle was. They still had not finished, had not given me an update saying it would take longer, and then still did not finish by the time I arrived to pick up the car after their posted hours. The whole point of making an appointment is that I reserve my place in line. Why was my car one of the last ones worked on for the day? On top of all of that, they removed my cargo cover and placed it on the roof of the car so when I drove away it went flying off into the street. The work is ok, I've had better tint installs over the years. The lack of communication and poor customer service in not recognizing they ruined my entire day when I went out of my way to make a 9am appointment and then did not have my car when it was supposed to take "a couple hrs" is what earned them their rating. From the start Speedy Auto Tints owner was very quick to respond to my project inquiry. It was almost 10pm and I received a response within 10 minutes. He was very direct with pricing and his guys honor the quote to the T. I made a last minute plan to stop by here and showed up at opening without any warning, when I arrived the first guy I spoke to (i didn't catch a name) already sounded familiar with why I was there, friendly greeting and professional opinion regarding the legalities of the tint. They gave me an estimate of two hours but I feel like they got the job done within 90 minutes and done well! The tint looks precise and expect it to cure correctly. The owner seems to take pride in his shop and it shows, the guys seem HAPPY to work here. Occasional conversation as they grind out the work, making the visit a little more personal. The pricing may be a little higher if you searched the right places, but like they say, you get what you pay for! We got there asked about the uneven tint in one of the doors but the other side was perfectly aligned and their excuse was it was too hard and too tight. Another issue was the excessive amount of dust bubbles. I've had other cars tinted elsewhere for about the same price without a Groupon and never experienced this much dust bubbles. The gentlemen there are friendly and installed my tint quickly. Reason why I am knocking them down a star is because they could have at least cleaned up after themselves. Found what looked like a dryer sheet on my hood, leftover strip of tint in the car, did not wipe down my door jams after they stood on them and left parts of my interior wet/smudged.
