[Note: Dr. Goessman has moved his offices to the new medical building on Olympic College Parkway,…read morebut has the same phone number.] At the recommendation of my wife's dentist, she saw Dr. Goessman for a root canal on one of her bicuspids, performed last week. I was in the room for the initial examination, folllow-up exam and the actual procedure. In all ways, Dr. Goessman was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. 1. In the first exam, he was careful, took his time, explained in detail what he had - and had not - found, and then had a follow-up consultation with my wife's dentist. 2. Based on those discussions, we visited him a second time, for a further examination and more review of the alternatives - both current and future. He gave us the information and let us make the decision without ANY pushing at all. Basically, it was do it now, before likely problems occur, or do it later, once there's a distinct problem. We chose to do it now. 3. He did the procedure last week, and it was COMPLETELY PAINLESS (except for the minor pin-prick of the first anesthetic injection, and even with that, he was gentle and took his time). In all three visits - and especially during every step of the actual procedure - he explained everything he was doing, and exactly what she should expect. He was also VERY attentive to ANY discomfort, much less pain (and thus, there was none!). His "bedside manner" couldn't have been better! Attentive, considerate, caring, unrushed! Would that ALL practitioners were this good! 4. He recommended taking an over-the-counter analgesic for a while, but also gave her a prescription for some stronger pain-killers, "just in case". As final evidence of how PAINLESS this was ... my wife never took any of the prescription meds! Frankly, I was amazed! I've known some number of people who've had root canals, and have NEVER heard of it being this easy, much less being COMPLETELY painless! Conclusion: Dr. Goessman isn't just a technically talented endodontist; he also makes sure that his patients are fully informed, unrushed in any way, and consistently offers the best possible consideration and caring for them. I so-state from the position of having numerous friends and former housemates in medicine, plus some years working in biomed environments. I am NOT easily impressed, and AM VERY picky about such things. (After all, it's our lives and health!)

We have been seeing Dr. Miller for 2+ years now and couldn't be happier. I have had to have a good bit of work done because I am 74 and things are wearing out teeth wise. Dr. Miller has always been very good at explaining what is needed, the alternatives, the appropriate time schedule for the work, the cost, and how to maximize utilization of my dental insurance. He is quick at his work so you don't end up with fingers in your mouth any longer than necessary. His staff is always pleasant to deal with and thorough in their work. Cleanings are a breeze. He seems to have the latest scanners and other technology so you don't have to make so many of those gooey impressions. In my case, I also needed several root canals which most general dentists do not do and he provided me with an excellent referral to Puget Sound Endodontics. I recommend Dr. Miller and Finn Hill Dental without reservation.

Then the Dr. came in and recommended me to go elsewhere, that they can do a better job. I don't think they should charge you for x-rays or anything until they say they will help you. Xrays are not that important when getting a mouth impression. So I really feel ripped off by this business. I even emailed them to say I want my x-rays mailed to me and they never did send them, but they said I needed to make an appointment. FOR WHAT. They took my insurance and billed me. Not a business that is honest as far as I'm concerned. They should practice what they preach on their web page. Genuinely interested in you and your smile. (BS) Our popular services include general dentistry, restorative procedures such as dental implants, dentures, crowns and bridges, cosmetic dentistry, emergency dentistry, and more. (Couldn't make a set of dentures.) Consumers need to start standing up to these businesses. He didn't do anything for me yet I had to pay for sitting in a chair and x-rays and then being told too bad. It's just not right. I went to another dentist not one recommended by this place and got a great set of dentures without any x-rays needed.

Both ladies were very caring and consistent in making sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. Their positive energy alleviated any apprehension I had when I arrived. I really didn't feel much in the way pain during my visit. That's impressive. Dr. Brown greeted me with a handshake and smile when I got there, and when my visit was over, she shook my hand again with a smile goodbye. Now that's a doctor who likes her job and cares for her patients. God bless you Dr. Brown. Thank you ladies for taking care of me. I never had a root canal before and the whole experience was very pleasant indeed. I would recommend anyone who needs this or any other type of work to this office should they get or need a referral for it. I walked out with a smile, I think you will to.

Seriously look no further. I learned this the hard way after a back molar root canal done a while ago started to fail. I went on a root canal world tour, consulting with specialists in Canada, Florida and California, all of whom told me my molar was doomed, too far gone, and that we should pull it out. Enter Dr. Kang, who confidently said, he could save my tooth. And guess what? He did! I won't lie, I saw him a lot (I think it was six appointments), but every single visit was worth it. Fast forward two years to now, and that tooth is still going strong, no issues whatsoever. His team is incredibly sweet and made it so easy to juggle all the appointments I needed. They were super flexible and stayed on top of things, even seamlessly communicating updates and transferring info to my dentist for the final crown work. And here's the best part all of my appointments were completely pain-free. Dr. Kang took his time, didn't rush, explained of what he was doing very well and even scheduled an extra session when he realized my tooth needed more healing and another round of antibiotics. Root canals are nobody's idea of a good time, they're pretty much the worst, but if you want the job done right, especially with a tricky case like mine, you're in the best hands here. Highly recommend!
