I saw a dentist in Texas who had taken xrays and told me that i need a crown, hopefully not a root canal. I asked my cousin (who lives here) who she sees and Current was recommended so I called and was able to be seen. I emailed my Texas X-rays to them and told them my insurance. (DeltaDental) I came in and again offered my card but they didn't need a copy, they already had one. I was seen by Dr Timothy... great experience!! I needed a root canal, post and crown. They were able to do it all in one day, and since it needed to be done and i have insurance, I did it. I also needed to return for 3 fillings, so I made the appointment to return. When I came in for the follow up appt...I was met with a $2200 bill and was told that they don't take Delta Dental, it's out of network. It was like getting kicked in the gut!! I was NEVER told by anyone along the way that I was out of network. I sent a letter to the office with no response asking to reduce the bill as its not completely my fault that this happened, with NO response. I've tried to talk to the office manager who keeps saying that they train their front desk to tell everyone that delta dental is out of network. She is not willing to help me out at all THEY NEVER ONCE told me I was out of network. I would have declined service and found a dentist who is IN network. I am only asking to lower the bill but they will NOT help me out at all!!! Hoping this review saves someone else from a huge bill.

Dr. Marshall is the only dentist I have ever been to that I feel comfortable with. She is easy to talk to and does not make you feel bad or put you in a situation where you feel uncomfortable. She just wants to help you to have a healthy smile that you can be proud of. My husband has also seen Dr. Ortega and she is very articulate, calm, and makes you feel very comfortable. She takes the time to explain things and is very knowledgeable. On each visit they were able to schedule us right in within a day or two, which was greatly appreciated. And were able to be seen at times that worked best for us. I highly recommend Current Dental. I live in Mason County and it is worth the long drive to be seen by a dentist I can trust.

The hygienists, assistants are personable and very good at what they do. At Woodridge Dental the care is excellent, and I will be here for a very long time. Turns out her hubby is a grilling/smoking aficionado like myself. So for the first time ever during a cleaning we're talking Weber and Traeger and Arthur Bryant and my beloved Aaron Franklin and his Austin TX eponymous BBQ featuring his world famous beef brisket. (I even got to see photos of her visit there. All the while Mandy's cleaning my teeth with special TLC for my poor, periodontal disease-suffering gums. It's important to me when a hygienist can engage in interesting conversation while continuing to do a superior job on my teeth. All the hygienists here are great. Dr. Chobot remains our long-time favorite family dentist, and we've been to a few dental clinics in town. And to top it all off, his clinic is located in a gorgeous wooded area that you can enjoy from any chair during your visit. I also enjoy when they put the sunglasses on me before getting to work on my teeth. I'm always waiting for the 3D movie to be projected on the ceiling above my chair. Maybe someday...

I went in person to settle the balance, but this type of delayed billing after collecting payment up front feels deceptive. Patients should be made clearly aware when they are paying an estimate versus a final amount. I've canceled all future appointments and will not be returning. Others should be cautious and make sure they fully understand their billing practices before agreeing to treatment.

We have been seeing Dr. Miller for 2+ years now and couldn't be happier. I have had to have a good bit of work done because I am 74 and things are wearing out teeth wise. Dr. Miller has always been very good at explaining what is needed, the alternatives, the appropriate time schedule for the work, the cost, and how to maximize utilization of my dental insurance. He is quick at his work so you don't end up with fingers in your mouth any longer than necessary. His staff is always pleasant to deal with and thorough in their work. Cleanings are a breeze. He seems to have the latest scanners and other technology so you don't have to make so many of those gooey impressions. In my case, I also needed several root canals which most general dentists do not do and he provided me with an excellent referral to Puget Sound Endodontics. I recommend Dr. Miller and Finn Hill Dental without reservation.
