We both felt really heavy afterward, and my mom even felt sick after eating there. It was just basic diner food and a bit overpriced for something you can get almost anywhere else. However, the cake that comes with the cornbread was my favorite part. SERVICE: The service was fine. It had more of a cafeteria-style vibe, so there isn't much to say about it. AMBIANCE: The inside felt very run down. The bar wasn't even finished and didn't look like it was ever used. Overall, it had a very hole-in-the-wall feel.

The front-of-house staff were friendly and welcoming. We were seated in the back wing during a busy lunch crowd, which didn't bother us at all. The issue was that after our drinks arrived, our server seemed to disappear. As the crowd thinned, we found ourselves waiting for refills and attention. The buffet has all the classics--beef tips, chicken pot pie, fried catfish, chicken-fried pork loin, baked chicken, vegetables, and plenty of sides. It's filling and abundant, but it's a true country buffet experience: hearty, salty, and rich rather than refined. Cedar Tree clearly has a loyal following, and the full dining room shows that many folks enjoy what they offer. A little more consistency in service would make the experience even better.

Sat at the drive through literally 10 mins. Nobody acknowledged me, ever came to the drive through or nothing. I know that they saw the car as one of the workers kept coming back and forth to the front placing food in a tray. They saw the car through the window. It amazes me as this place had a huge grand opening sign and this is how they are doing business already. Incorrect starting times, lack luster professionalism. I didn't get to try the food as I was never acknowledged or serviced. This place is already starting on the wrong foot. They should really tighten up or they won't be here long.
