Triangle Vinyl is a great place to seek out a couple of records and there is something definitely cool about wandering and just flipping through the records. Maybe it is a sign of getting older when you find yourself yearning for the times that you knew in your yesterdays and you find yourself believing those times were the best. Regardless of it being that I am getting older or whatever the case, I found my time here at Triangle Vinyl made me recall those bygone days. Triangle Vinyl is a fantastic business to head towards and spend a bit of time in there. I will give it five stars overall.

Love the concept of being able to order a drink and sit and listen to music (playing on their speakers - you don't choose it) and just browse records. They have a huge selection of used records, but you definitely have to come with patience to look through every single bin to see if you might find a gem or some thing that you want to add to your collection. I don't have a lot of vinyls but I would definitely buy some from Steve's if I needed them since the pricing seems fair. They also have great wall banners for sale and plenty of CD's. If you're looking for something specific just ask Steve for help because this store is jam packed full of music. Steve was super friendly and informed me if there was something I specifically wanted he could get it for me. I didn't find anything I wanted on this visit; however, the last two times I was here I purchased a few CDs from his clearance shelf for $1 each without a scratch on them, not bad at all. If you are looking for a new, used, or unique vinyl or just want to burn some time checking out a great record store while shopping in DeLand, then I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Prices vary on items in the shop and I saw a mix of eras and item types. There's something in almost every section of the small location, but the space didn't feel crammed, junky, or too claustrophobic to explore. Nothing caught my eye when I went in there, but the guy working there was friendly and left us to browse on our own. I feel the majority of the items were a little more retro than vintage when I went in there. (I tend to associate vintage with 30 years and older - I felt I saw more late 80s to early 2000s items in the shop than true vintage in a way.)

So while we were waiting I remembered there was a comic-book/collectibles shop in town, I knew this from all the times I have been to the Downtown Leesburg area and wanting to go inside the shop but never had enough time to go inside. First thing that I loved about the shop was the pretty lit name Not Just Cardboard which I thought was a really clever name for the type of shop it was. So once I entered the establishment I was transported to a Magical Land of throwback collectibles, yesteryear toys, toys from my childhood, throwback sport jersey, and an amazing collection of old and new comic books. I saw some toys inside there that I haven't see since I was a little kid, like the Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Morphing Action figures from the original toy line of the show which I believe are really hard to find if your a collector. The store is owned and operated by these three guys Mike, Mark, and Dave I was able to chat it up with both Mark and Mike both were really nice guys who had great customer service. They both really knew their stuff about the things they were selling in their shop very knowledgeable. They wanted me to let anyone who was making their way to the shop that they were in the middle of a remodel and that that's why it might look a little disorganized in the shop right now but that they are still open and that once the remodel is over its going to be a even more of a Magical Place for everyone who visit the shop. This kinda a shops are the shops that I love because you never know what you might find you could find something new or something that's is old but you will always find something magical that brings joy to your life and reminds you of how life should be lived because life is short and should be lived to the fullest. I could not believe how much the store has expanded over the years, including an annex two doors down that houses thousands of CDs. The amount of inventory here is almost overwhelming in the best possible way. As a music collector, it honestly felt like I had died and gone to heaven. No matter what genre you enjoy, there is an incredible amount to explore. I was especially excited to find a large selection of leftover Record Store Day titles, including two rare releases that I was thrilled to add to my collection. I also came across many original pressings of 1980s LPs and 12" singles, along with a huge number of CDs in the annex, including several out-of-print titles that are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Everywhere I looked, there were hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Atlantic Sounds is the kind of record store where you could easily spend an entire day -- or several days -- browsing and still not see everything they have to offer. I am so glad to see how much they have grown and expanded since my last visit. It remains an absolute paradise for music lovers and collectors.

The store has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that makes browsing feel easy and unhurried. Savannah helped me during my visit and was incredibly sweet, kind, and easy to talk to. She made the experience feel personal and enjoyable, taking time to point me in the right direction while I explored the store. The shop has a solid selection with plenty to explore, all at affordable prices, and it is the kind of place where you can take your time and still keep discovering something new with each pass through the crates.
