What a great surprise to discover this gem on Central Florida ! I rarely visit gun shops having recently moved from 1/2 century in the North East. This place is very humble from the outside but the gun safety classes caught my eye and am I ever glad I circled the neighborhood twice to find a parking place. They never rush me and took into consideration That I was in a Walker and have some disability, I took my ccw coarse there and it was very professional. They couldn't have been nicer! Great shop. Rocky Sr. and Rocky Jr. are straight shooters who believe in fair play and decent, respectful treatment for everyone.

It's a mixed bag when I go in to this shop. If Sr. is around, the tone of the shop is noticeably tense and Jr. is less talkative to customers in general. My best experiences are definitely when Jr. and his wife (I think she is) are there by themselves. It's definitely a "Regulars first" type of store when Sr. is around, which frankly doesn't bother me a ton as long as I am not waiting an exorbitant amount of time to get a question answered or checked out. The options aren't bad for a local gun store. I have had issues when ordering guns here though. As I was finishing up buying a gun toward the end of last year, I asked about ordering a CP33. I was told they would get it ordered for me and I didn't need to put a down payment down. After checking in on the order a few times, I finally decided to wait for them to call me when it arrived. I went in yesterday on a whim as I was looking for a new CCW and guess what was sitting in the case. Yep, a CP33. This pushed me to look into other local stores today. With the stores I went into today and the positive way I was treated in them, it's hard to give this store my business anymore. That experience yesterday is what drove me to write this review. read more
