- Within 2 hours after I called S.O.S Septic, Rey showed up. He is nice and polite. The hardworking gentleman began to work. He explained to me the condition of the tanks, what we should and should not do in order to keep the tanks working properly, very informative, indeed. He cleaned up the area and provided us the paperwork that needed to be turned to the county's DoH. - Thank you Rey for your awesome service and S.O.S Septic for the super quick response. You guys are awesome. FIVE STARS all the way read more

Just awesome. We had Robert and Todd both were just great. They are so honest that when we paid them and Robert got back to the office he called us and said 2 of 100 bills stuck together and we did not know that and told us we over paid. We would have never known that if he had not called. So they are 100 not 5. Robert and Todd your the BEST read more

We had a septic emergency on Wednesday 6/5/24 after having just returned from vacation. The septic backed up into the shower, tub and toilets. We called S.O.S. Septic service and they dispatched Rey to our home. He diagnosed our issue quickly and pumped our tanks thoroughly. He was courteous and efficient, even under emergency evening conditions. Thank you Rey & SOS Septic. read more

Called at 5 pm on a Sunday for an emergency septic issue, we had backed up into the shower. The man that answered the phone was on another call and asked if he could call me back... I was skeptical, but he did call me about 10 minutes later & said he could have someone out within the hour. I acknowledged & accepted the after-hours cost to pump, totally understandable. We got it done, and everything was back to normal. SOS was the ONLY company I called that said 24-hour service to answer the phone and get it done!! Thank you so much! Would recommend 100%! read more

SOS Septic - SOS Septic to the Rescue!! - Septic Services Near Me - Englewood, Florida

Labor Day weekend we were having company coming and we panicked when our toilets backed up. Our neighbor recommended this SOS outfit and they were there in 20 minutes with a full truck. One hour later we were ready to go after finding out that our septic tank was full to the brim! Very informative to find out that 1/4 of a tank was full of baby wipes! Do not use baby wipes people! Do not ever use baby wipes in your toilet! It will cost you more in septic repairs over time by flushing those bad boys. $400 what is a good price considering that's what the plumber wanted to come out the same day! Thank you SOS!!! read more

Call them at 2:30 for pump out, they arrived by 3 pm . Greeted the SOS guys, sat on the porch as they did their job. Did their job and left. Lady on phone said it would be $400.00and 4% on top of that if I used a debit card, which I did . Looked at the digital bill a few days later and it was $561.00. Called and it was only then explained that due to an overfill tank we were charged more. I explained that was never explained to us by the customer service representative I had spoken to. She said that " I don't know why they didn't explain that ( aka septic guys).... I can ask."she said. Well shouldn't the customer rep be the one explaining this when you call in and ask about the service. The septic guys are responsible for the septic pump out , not the cost charged to your debit card. Also someone should have called and said hey it's going to be more than I quoted you initially! Only asked to find out what why no one explained the issue, no refund or other compensation for their mistake! Scammers in septic tank disguise they are full of sh?t alright!!! Avoid them and their hidden costs.I work hard for my money and don't need anyone to cheat me out of it. Bad customer service and hidden charges will apply should be their motto. Good luck with these scammers! read more

SOS Septic - SOS truck and time of arrival. - Septic Services Near Me - Englewood, Florida

Ten Stars For SOS Septic! Yesterday had overflow in toilets and shower, waited till today to call. Called them at 9am, nice lady gave me estimate of arrival between 10 and 11 and the truck was at my home at 10:05am. The rep name is Ray, very professional and learned a lot from him, work was done in one hour read more

When the septic backs up it does it with little warning and the consequences are most problematic, to say the least. We called S.O.S. Septic after our "regular" company was not able to get out for 4 or 5 days. That doesn't work when in this situation. Called S.O.S. and they were here in about 2 hours. Big difference and much appreciated by all here in our household. They (2) were very thorough and went about their work with a very pleasant demeaner and professional. Thanks guys for being there on the spot! Brandon and his partner did a great job. Highly recommend. Now, if you'll excuse me, I going to take a nice hot shower, because I can. It's the little luxuries! read more

Ray was excellent! We called @ 7 on a Monday night & he was here and TCB by 930. Thank you!

Thank you, Rod and SOS Septic, for scheduling us so quickly and for truly caring about your customers and going the extra mile! read more

I own a rental property that needed a pump service done. They had reasonable pricing and could do a same day service which was great but my experience was not 5 star worthy. Communication is a huge factor in working with a company for me as I live a few hours away - I need to be able to trust and confirm work was completed. Initially during scheduling, the woman I spoke with was generally neutral, but gave me an attitude that I hadn't called back immediately to provide my card information. This was easy to overlook until my follow up experience. I would've significantly appreciated knowing that the service was completed, especially having given my card over the phone prior to and not knowing whether or not someone actually showed up and did it. I got an on the way call which was great but no follow up - when I called to make sure the service was done, the after hours dispatcher couldn't give me any information, refused to find any information out, had an attitude and just told me he had another call coming in. He never even asked my name. Highly unprofessional especially for clientele that is not on site just trying to confirm work was done. I'm sure these guys are great, but my experience wasn't 5 stars - adequate and professional communication should be expected. read more

We had septic water back-flowing into our shower around dinner time on Labor Day with family in town. Guy on the phone was informative and answered all of our questions to help determine that it was indeed a full tank and not a drain line blockage. Corey came to pump our tank. He was friendly and fast despite being called out after hours on a holiday. From initial call to finish was about an hour. We were surprised that it was only $400, we feel like most companies would have increased the rate twice for being both after hours and a holiday. We will likely call them the next time we need our septic pumped. read more

We have had nonstop issues with plumbing since moving in. We had called another septic company that did a horrible, insufficient job. Afterwards we continued paying for unneeded repair after unneeded repair to plumbers. We finally called SOS Septic on emergency and they not only accommodated after hours on a holiday weekend, they came and did a professional and thorough job. Our home is now in working order. SOS are my heroes! Special thank you to our service guys Brandon and Kerwig!!!! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! I called a total of 4 septic tank companies and I couldn't believe the difference between the way they treat their customers. SOS was so accommodating to my septic backup at a rental and dispatched a truck within an hour. On top of that, the service provider was CHIP and I cannot say enough positive about how professional and accommodating Chip was. On top of that he spoke so highly of his boss and the entire company which I believe says a lot about him and the company he works for as well. He explained what happened and how to prevent future problems. He spent more time than he probably should have to be certain everything was in good working order before he left. All I can say is don't bother calling the rest, they are all competitively priced but none have the customer service as my experience with SOS Septic and Chip! Paula Y. Wesley read more

We've been in the house about 2 years, guest bathroom started acting up, wouldn't flush properly. Mind you, there were no back ups into the house or anything like that, just a slow running toilet. Not knowing when it was last pumped out we called SOS, they were recommended (not always the way to go, should have done my own research). They did the pumpout said there was something at the end of the pipe that may have caused problem. They cleared it and said it was good and the d-box may need replacing at some point but for now wait and see, sounded like they had it covered. The problem re-occurred a few weeks later, I went crazy trying to get the problem solved. One guy came out and said sewer was tipped back and water couldn't drain properly. It would require cutting up driveway, digging under house, cut existing line and running new one out to septic, to the tune of $6,500+ (and we're next in line for sewer hookup)!!!.Called SOS back, they come out and say septic level is fine but maybe a pumpout will help and since the service call was around $200 its only $100 more. I knew better but had them do it anyway, 2 pumpouts in 2 months!!! Finally called another outfit, they took the time to find the cleanout and determined the GREASE in the pipe was the problem and everything is good now and THEY ONLY CHARGED A SERVICE CALL OF $95!!! Make your own decision. read more

SOS came on a Sunday. I already had septic cover uncovered. They charged me $300.00 to tell me my filter was clogged. Took 15 minutes to clean and system is fine. I realize it was on a Sunday, but $300.00! That is unconscionable. read more

Very disappointed with there services, told me they would repair the lid and charged me $300 to pump out. Later received the Bill stating my tank was not repairable and needed to be replaced. Shame on you Russell the tech and SOS.. read more

Yesterday (Sunday) evening we had a backup in our septic system. I read reviews about SOS and was happy to find that they are available 24/7 and are rated 4.8 on google. We were given a time for service, and our technician Marvin was an hour early, less than a 2 hour wait. He was extremely kind, competent, and knowledgeable. Our septic tank had never been serviced, and we have lived here for 16 years. I cannot speak highly enough of Marvin, and SOS Septic. Your company is only as good as your employees. 5 star in every category!! We really appreciated the upfront price, which didn't change even though our septic tank proved to be difficult. Don't expect cheap. Cheap always costs more in the long run. Their prices are fair and their work is excellent. We also appreciated the information for caring for our unit going forward. We were spoken to in a professional manner, not condescending. We will now be sure to have regular service, and it will be SOS. Thank you!! read more

Really rude office staff. I did not want to hire them after dealing with her barking at me. There's plenty others in town who do a great job. I can send my money to someone who'd appreciate it. read more

We've lived here for 16years and never had our septic pumped, we never felt the need. Everything worked perfectly. Then yesterday, just like that, everything just slowed down. I figured my luck had just run out. The SOS trucks seem to be everywhere so I gave them a call. They would have come right out on Sunday or I could wait until tomorrow. Nothing was backed up, yet, just slow. So I opted to wait one day. I was told not to use any unnecessary water, like no dishwasher, laundry or showers. First thing Monday morning Dennis showed up. He went right to the cover of the septic tank, like a magic trick. He's never been here but he figured out right where it would be. He was very careful not to break our cement curbing. The only evidence that he was here was the small area where the septic cover was. He explained in detail the reasons why we should have the septic tank pumped every 3 to 5 years and things we can do to maintain it.  We were lucky this time, we could have had company or it could have been a Holiday and rather than just slowing down it could have backed up into the house. So to Dennis and SOS Septic I owe a big thanks. read more

Great service! The price we were quote is the price we paid. Tech was really informative!

Please confirm your account to post your review 5.0 star rating 3/24/2018 In the world of septic systems and well water systems both new to us, we have experienced quite a range of honesty and quality in our North Port area. Being from Orlando, and unaccustomed to septic tanks, we were at the mercy of the companies integrity. Recently in need of septic repair, we called the first company that shall not be named, He took one look with out any excavation and decided that the septic tank was shot and needed replacement $4400. Not being a believer in physic divination, or X-ray vision, we cancelled our job with them and called S.O.S. With seven trucks on the road every day, they can answer your needs the same day called. Their manager Colin explained the real problem, excavating the tank at no cost to better deduce the actual problem, offered a same day solution for 10 % of the original estimate and responded within two hours delivering a spot on repair and pumping with "Rob" and cleanup of the yard well past anything I expected. Honestly, what more can business do for you. I highly recommend them. read more
