Scammers - see their reviews. DO NOT USE THIIS HORRIBLE FIRM…read more I reluctantly sent them a check for $7700, which was minus the extra sand dump loads they were extorting me for, only to find that their owner had "already" filed a lien (with whatever costs they felt appropriate) against my house. This actually made me laugh, since their communication was so bad between their firm and me and their internal communications among their team. Not only is their internal communication with their clients horrible, they operate without any consideration to "their bad customer service" and communications - and they blame their clients for the communication issues. In addition, they charged me for a credit card fee for $147, and I had paid with a check. Duh. What an unorganized, bait and switch, rip off firm. My check was returned with a note that said it took too long to get to their office - so they filed the lien on my property. I decided to allow the lien to sit on the property because I was not going to be moving from this home. Keep in mind, some states have a lien expiration within 7 years and the lien has to be renewed by the filer. Then guess what, less than a month later, I get a certified notice from the Chapman Law Firm, indicating that I have 10 days to pay or I will be sued and have to pay court costs. I called the law firm and will be dropping off a check at their office this week (March 17-21, 2025). As a reminder, the team that did the work on my physical project were awesome and I gave them each a gratuity. But, the office team and owners were horrible to work with. Please, I implore you, DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE firm. I am writing them an extortion check as the law firm requested, and I have asked their attorney to reduce the credit card fee since I am writing a check again. They agreed.

Orlando and his assistant showed up BEFORE scheduled time (which is much appreciated and Windriver even texted to let us know they were 5min away). That was our first impression, good communication. Orlando explained clearly to us what works he and his assistant will be doing. After pumping and inspections tank, Orlando explained to us how to maintain the tank by not to dispose oils, greases, solid food... to the kitchen sink. Him and his assistant kept the area clean after they finished the work. That was our second impression that they care about their jobs and customer's property. We are happy with the job Orlando and his assistant did and would definitely use them again. Highly recommend this company.

I called them on a Thursday night and told them my alarm was going off. They said they would be there the next morning. Friday morning, they came at 10:30 and pumped it out. That was the last I heard from them till I called at 4:00PM. The CSR I spoke to stated that the person that came out does not fix it, it will take 24-48 hrs. for them to process the work order then they will call to schedule. That to me was piss poor customer service. Then she told me that the guy said that the pump will need to be replaced. Next day (Saturday) I called SOS and the guy there referred me to Candlelight Enterprises, LLC. The gentleman I spoke to there stated that since it was pumped out, they can do it Monday morning. I did ask about doing it that day (Saturday) but he was very honest and stated he didn't want me to spend the emergency fee when Monday was just fine. Candlelight showed up and he stated that the pump is fine, the check valve was stuck open and it will only cost $250.00 parts and labor. Next i get the bill from Wind River and they want to charge me an extra $100.00 for an emergency fee. Emergency fee, they did the work on a Friday morning at 10:30??????? I left 3 voicemails for them to call me and they have not responded as of yet. Piece of advice, DO NOT EVER CALL WIND RIVER.

I would recommend them over any other company that I've dealt with. Being in the military and usually not in the immediate area, all staff can be trusted to enter a job site unsupervised. They always keep you informed as the work is being completed and they also call ahead of time so you aren't sitting around all day for a site visit. They are very thorough and they check up to make the job reached my expectations. They are very fair in their pricing and the quality of their work supersedes the amount they charge. Keep the money local and support a great company. They are very respectful and always courteous. Very down to earth and just easy to talk to. You will always have peace of mind when choosing Protek! Someone picked up immediately, I believe her name was Christine. I let her know it's an emergency as the line was flooding into my lawn. Within half an hour, Sam arrived, diagnosed the issue and cut the line off. The busted pipe was on the city's side, and he advised me that while they can go ahead and fix the issue, it would financially be more beneficial for me to call the city and have them repair it and pick up the cost. Sam cut the non-potable water service off which resolved the issue until the city was able to come out and repair it. Despite Champion giving me a notice ahead of time that there is an upcharge since its afterhours, they only charged me about 160$ to come out and do the work as it was quick. Sam was extremely knowledgeable too and works with integrity, and Christine did an amazing job keeping me informed on the status. I hope I have the opportunity to use Champion Plumbing on future work.
