Great company when they were a small family business. I used them in 2019 and they were great. They…read moreare now part of a large company called Windriver environmental. Big mistake calling them. I called them on a Thursday night and told them my alarm was going off. They said they would be there the next morning. Friday morning, they came at 10:30 and pumped it out. That was the last I heard from them till I called at 4:00PM. The CSR I spoke to stated that the person that came out does not fix it, it will take 24-48 hrs. for them to process the work order then they will call to schedule. That to me was piss poor customer service. Then she told me that the guy said that the pump will need to be replaced. Next day (Saturday) I called SOS and the guy there referred me to Candlelight Enterprises, LLC. The gentleman I spoke to there stated that since it was pumped out, they can do it Monday morning. I did ask about doing it that day (Saturday) but he was very honest and stated he didn't want me to spend the emergency fee when Monday was just fine. Candlelight showed up and he stated that the pump is fine, the check valve was stuck open and it will only cost $250.00 parts and labor. Next i get the bill from Wind River and they want to charge me an extra $100.00 for an emergency fee. Emergency fee, they did the work on a Friday morning at 10:30??????? I left 3 voicemails for them to call me and they have not responded as of yet. Piece of advice, DO NOT EVER CALL WIND RIVER.

Windriver Environmental is the new owner of this company. We called them on Tuesday and scheduled…read morefor Thursday septic tank pumping service. Orlando and his assistant showed up BEFORE scheduled time (which is much appreciated and Windriver even texted to let us know they were 5min away). That was our first impression, good communication. Orlando explained clearly to us what works he and his assistant will be doing. After pumping and inspections tank, Orlando explained to us how to maintain the tank by not to dispose oils, greases, solid food... to the kitchen sink. Him and his assistant kept the area clean after they finished the work. That was our second impression that they care about their jobs and customer's property. We are happy with the job Orlando and his assistant did and would definitely use them again. Highly recommend this company.

I don't usually write reviews, but my husband and I had a negative experience with Stan's Septic…read morecompany last week that I wanted to share. As part of the installation service the quote states that they will re-seed the yard , rake in and cover with straw. This was a selling point for me as it saved me the added time and expense of replacing the lawn. After installing a new septic tank at my house, Stan's Septic left a mess in the yard. There was dirt and straw everywhere, and it looked terrible. There were ruts from the tractor, the grass seed was not evenly spread and the straw had all blown into the swale at the front of the house. When we called to ask if they could fix the issues, he agreed and came back to the property within a few hours. However, upon his arrival, the owner of the company thought no one was home and started grumbling about all this extra work and trash-talking the 'whiners' who called to complain. I overheard all this from inside the house. When I exited to speak to the owner, he was rude to me, defensive of his poor workmanship, and condescending about my expectation that he leave the yard in decent condition. My husband soon came home and tried to reason with the owner, but the situation escalated and the owner continued to be rude and unaccommodating. The owner explained that the seed and straw is only done to meet minimum county code requirements and is not for the homeowners benefit and probably will not grow. The owner stated if I wanted a lawn I would have to have sod installed. At one point the angry owner instructed his crew to go get their equipment and they would pull the new tank and leach field out and take it back to the shop. We agreed that he could do this as we no longer wished to have him work for us. Eventually, the owner relented and put in minimal effort to smooth over the yard, but the overall installation process was disappointing and sloppy. The owner was unfriendly and displayed poor customer service skills. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere for your septic needs.
