He used a tiny activator on my son because he would only look in one direction. After he tapped his little spinal column, Matt was able to turn from side to side. There is never pressure to return to the office for extra treatments. I know when my body needs to be adjusted (spine, hips, knees, etc.) And he respects that. If he says I need a follow-up visit, I pay attention because I know he cares about my health. I have been having hip problems lately so I called my rheumatologist who put me on a week of prednisone. It most certainly helped with the inflammation but I decided to have a consultation with Dr Brunton. I went twice that week. After the second visit, Dr. Brunton sent me back to my primary MD who evaluated me and ordered an xray. The results are still pending but I am confident that the 3 of us will finally have a diagnosis. Either I have bursitis in my hip or degeneration of my hip. I placed it in my hand, bent it and said " lets do this ". She was totally professional. Once the needles were in place, she put me under a heat lamp, turned on soothing music and put an emergency bell in my hand. I never had any emergency. The massage after was " icing on the cake " for this old Veteran. What I do have is the gradual return of flexibility. I no longer walk with a cane. At 5:26 PM, once the doctor became available, another patient who had arrived just a few minutes prior was called in ahead of me. When I asked the receptionist for clarification, I was informed that the other patient also had a 5:15 PM appointment. Given that I had been waiting for 23 minutes while the other individual arrived after 5:20 PM, prioritizing them over a patient who arrived early is unacceptable. This experience demonstrated a lack of respect for my time and highlighted significant issues with your scheduling practices and front-desk management. As a result, I will no longer be returning to this practice, nor can I recommend your services to others. I strongly suggest re-evaluating your scheduling procedures and providing additional customer service training for your reception staff. *****Update******** I am writing to address your response to my review, which I feel minimizes what occurred. I booked my September 22nd appointment back on August 27th, so claiming the other patient was prioritized because they booked weeks ahead does not hold up as I did the same when I was last there (8/27, nearly a month in advance). Prioritizing a late arrival over a patient who arrived on time and checked in on time goes against standard scheduling practices in any healthcare practice. It is evident that I was not checked in correctly and was subsequently overlooked by your staff. Additionally, claiming that practice-wide scheduling changes were enacted just a few hours after my YELP review was published is disingenuous. I expect higher standards of transparency and patient care from a professional practice.
