I have been following NAU for about a year now and finally I have the funds to afford their outerwear. The transaction didn't take long. I casually walked in and surveyed the store, checked out their bitchin' hardshells- and just as i was about to leave, the friendly clerk asked me if i was looking for anything (which i was). Then i was in the fitting room trying on a luscious NAU softshell and damn, damn did i look good- fit and finish are superb. I walked outta there a few $$$ poorer, but warm, windproof and wicked. The price is worth the style, comfort and materials. I recently made my first online Threadless purchase. A "Blep" hoodie by Joel Robinson (LOVE THE IMAGE!). I prefer to wear my hoodies oversized as I usually wear a t-shirt underneath. I ordered the hoodie as a 2XL. Honestly, when I tried it on, it was barely an XL. I was worried about washing it after wearing it as I was concerned it would shrink a little making it even less of a 2XL. When I contacted Threadless with my issue, they couldn't have been more accommodating (brava Becca at the help desk!). You can't go wrong with Threadless. Cool graphics, cool products, and a wonderful team.

Threadless uses contracted printing shops for various items. They do not uphold a high quality…read morestandard at all. More than 50% of the items I've ordered in 2025 have had defects. This includes everything from t-shirts to hoodies to mugs. They can't get the printing straight. The printing contains defects with streaks or entire chunks missing. Is a human being even LOOKING at these before they go out the door? It's shameful. Threadless has reprinted a handful of items for me and has refunded me for others. It is very hard to have a Threadless shop for my nonprofit when there's a high chance that my donors/clients are going to get something defective from their shoddy suppliers. Stay far away.

I plan on being back in the area later in the week and can't wait to check it out! As for lunch, or Sunday brunch, we started with a warm fresh baguette. I went with avocado toast for my meal, which hit the spot as it always does. I've had my share of avocado toasts in my lifetime and this was a good one. My daughter also really enjoyed her chicken flatbread. It was huge so when it first came out I thought she could have shared it with her friend, but she was super hungry and it was really tasty so she did a pretty good job eating it on her own. Service was fast and attentive and (again) my only regret is not getting to do more shopping...I'll be back!
