I was very happy to see Thai food available for delivery to my hotel here in town. I ordered the red curry with chicken and the edamame. I usually expect delivery meals to be somewhat cool but both items were piping hot, still steaming as if just coming off the cooktop. The edamame was crisp, fresh, and perfectly cooked. What a treat! The red curry was delicious! So much flavor. I requested mild but it seemed to be quite a bit more than mild. The flavor and the generous portion of chicken made up for the heat. When I ordered I was quoted 40-50 minutes. They arrived right on time and the driver was very kind and polite. I would definitely eat here again when I come back to town. read more

This was our first time here. It was good enough to come back to try other menu items. I wasn't impressed with my Pad See U, but the Tom Yum was delicious (spicy good)! My friend loved her Red Curry w/ shrimp dish. And, the shrimp were big... at least Med-Large size - not like some places that use popcorn-size shrimp! She tried the Tom Kha as her side and loved it. For an appetizer, we had the steamed dumplings. We like them steamed over fried, so that option was a plus! We dug right into those and forgot to snap a photo. My husband & I have been here a few times - NeverDisappointed! the people that work there are always so friendly & helpful. the food has been fantastic. Today was the first time I had sushi there usually we have the Chinese food & I have to say, they knocked it out of the park! The only negative which really is not a negative is they did not have wine or alcohol but they did have beer so my husband was all set. We continue to go here weekly! We even mentioned to them that we will be on vacation because we didn't want them to think we were coming back! They are just a wonderful family business and again the place is so clean! With time, I think this place could get better. A friend and I tried this place on a Saturday night. It wasn't really busy at all. Never really seems busy every time I pass it. We were not greeted at the door. There was a man standing behind the counter doing something on the computer and didn't acknowledge us. I stood for a second wondering if it was open seating. Then a lady came from behind the bar, on the other side of the room to seat us. Turned out the guy behind the counter was our server. He was very kind and attentive. But the service was slow, which I don't understand because there were not many people in there. It was about 20-30 minutes between the time we got the appetizers and the time we got the entrees. Overall, the food was not spectacular. We had an egg roll and spring roll for appetizers, Thai fried rice with chicken and red curry chicken for entrees. The rolls and my entree were not very flavorful. The rice was a little better with soy sauce added. Definitely not worth the prices. Just left from having dinner with a friend.... We were not greeted when entering the building even though three people walked past. One individual stood at the register and never said anything while we looked around trying to see if we needed to seat ourselves. TL:DR: the manager was immediately rude and yelled at me for a basic customer concern. Now I'm pissed. I'm very saddened by my expirience here. My coworker took me to it, praising it's food. She has great taste so I was sure this was going to be fantastic. We got there for an early dinner and the food tasted great! I had a California roll and another roll I can't remember the name of, but it was all very good! The only questionable things were a boy who couldn't be older than 12 serving food and my coworker did not recieve an item she ordered. When I got home a few hours later I started feeling sick. I've had food poisoning in the past, even from sushi, and I could easily tell the symptoms. There was nothing I could have ate 48 hours before the sushi that could have caused symptoms. I've also worked in the medical field for the last 7 years and have a great understanding of basic illness. I vomited a total of 5 times before nausea settled and I could hold down water. I called the restaraunt and asked for a manager to simply inform them to look out for a possible bad batch. I didn't care to recieve a refund or anything. I was kind on the phone and the manager quickly began to yell at me that "food poisoning takes a week to show symptoms so it must have been something I ate a week ago" which is incredibly incorrect. They also said the health inspector checks off on them and that she makes the food herself so it couldn't have been bad. They insisted on arguing with me on the same points stated above. Needless to say, I'm mad and disappointed. I was really looking forward to the expirience and had a really nice time with my coworker. However, they will never recieve my business again and I have half a mind to inform local health and safety authorities of my concerns. My anger only comes from the manager's treatment of a customer concern. Food poisoning happens, this isn't my first rodeo, but the manager's emediate defensiveness is not only unprofessional, but concerning. I really wish I could have liked this place. Terrible, that is my one-word review. If you would like a little more information, I will elaborate. While the order of sushi wasn't terrible given our distance from the ocean, the Pad Thai was something else altogether. While only they can speak for their particular recipe, if this were the representative of Pad Thai, it never would have the popularity it garnered. It tasted as if they dumped in a cup of sugar. In fact, it was so sweet, it would make sweet tea seem bland by comparison. On top of their sickeningly sweet flavoring, they overcooked both the noodles and the chicken. Definitely the best place around for Thai food. Sushi is pretty good too. I've come here many times and usually go for their curry. All the curry is good but this last time I went for their "very spicy" option because I'm a masochist. I'm no stranger to spicy food, but in many places there's something lost in translation when i order spicy food. I'm trying to hit that high you only get when there's enough spice in your dish to make your nervous system think it's suffering catastrophic trauma to get those endorphins to trigger. The highest spice level in this curry is right on the cusp of that. It got me sweaty and looking for something cool to drink. Went to this restaurant a couple of days ago. I tried the fresh Spring Shrimp rolls, overall they were OK, large, but fell apart each time I tried eating it. Wasn't much in them for that matter, lettuce, rice noodles, and one piece of shrimp. I guess I am use to mint,cilantro, and some bean sprouts. My main course was General Tso chicken, that was amazingly good. My daughter had the the Red Curry noodles with chicken. She loved it! Sora is a very unassuming Asian place, and minimally decorated. But if you're coming here for the decor, you're here for the wrong reason. The food is very good. While not extensive, the sushi is on point. My partner and I enjoyed the fried dumplings, although he passed on the baby squid salad. Adventurous eater that I am, I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I've had squid before, but eating a whole squid was a new experience. The yellowtail jalapeno was excellent, with very generous slices of the fish. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the service, which was excellent. Every member of the team is focused on customer service, and they're very attentive without hovering. Sora is right at the top of our list, and with the quarantine in place, they're very focused on keeping you safe, with curbside service, and the server wears a mask and gloves. We'll keep coming back to Sora because they really seem to care about the customer's experience. Way to go, Sora! read more

Last night we were craving some Chinese food and decided to try a new spot. I am SO glad we did! We placed an order online, which was so simple and easy! When we picked up our meal, the service was quick, clean, and very friendly! We are about a 15-20 minute drive from Sora and our food was still very hot when we brought it home. The crab rangoons were huge, crispy, and delicious. They gave us a huge portion of tasty pad Thai and sesame chicken. I am currently eating the leftovers for lunch and it tastes just as good as it was last night! If you want delicious, well prepared Chinese food, you MUST try Sora!! read more

This is a small family owned restaurant. They were VERY happy, pleasant and eager to serve. I had no expectations. My wife and I just wanted sushi and we knew all the other locations in the area and wanted to try something new. Needless to say we have found our permanent sushi establishment. I keep coming back to this place because I keep wanting to try it again and give it another chance because it is on my way home from work, but I just don't think the food here is all that great. I think that it's cute and the people are super duper nice and they have absolutely great service (which is why I gave them 3 stars), but the Pad Thai and the other noodle dishes I have had are below par, in my opinion.
