This place is horrendous!!!! I mean that from the bottom of my heart. The service is horrible. I was the first person in the restaurant but received my food last. Does not make any sense at all! I waited over an hour! The owner is racist against Asian people. They discriminate against us. The waiter refilled all the females but not the males. What a pervert. Most of their food is way tooooooooooooo sweet. I came to eat dinner, not dessert for dinner. This place made it to my list of the top worst restaurants ever. DO NOT GO HERE! You're better off spending your money at McDonalds across the street. They discriminated against us because we weren't american. Overpriced for no reason. I've been here a few times in the past about 3 or 4 years ago. Service wasn't very good. Several tables that were seated after my table had gotten their food and left. Also we had to ask for menus. The most disturbing thing was that no one seemed to care that tables were seated and had left before we got an appetizer. Maybe there has been a change of management but I was not pleased with the service. The only reason why I gave two stars is because of the food was still tasty. But customer service is everything to me. I will look for another place to spend money on good Thai food. read more

My husband and I were passing through Ocoee after a conference and wanted some quick, delicious, Thai. Soong Thai delivered. We got a nice little salad and some broth soup to start (free), then had the sampler for 2. Very yummy. Then, we each had a curry. I has massaman and he had panang. Both delicious. The service was also excellent. Friendly and very attentive. So - if you are on route 50 passing through Winter Garden/Ocoee area, stop into Soong Thai. You won't regret it! read more

This is such a warm, relaxing place to get 'amazing' thai food. Their peanut sauce is rich and flavorful, and their crab rangoon is unlike any I've ever had. And the staff is friendly and pleasant. Though their website seems bare and lacking information and they do have many dished with the word 'amazing' in them, I don't feel it takes away from the overall enjoyable experience of eating here. And trust me, you will have leftovers and you will still love it the next day! read more

Got takeout from this place late at night while visiting a friend on our way home from vacation. Food was delicious and deserves 5 stars on its own. I took away a star because of the high prices. We got both snapper dishes (lad prik and sweet and sour) and an order of the soong Thai fried rice. Total cost was over $90 with no drinks or appetizers, which was a bit steep. Portion of fried rice was also less than half of what I'm used to getting at other Thai restaurants. You do get a whole fried snapper (at the exorbitant price of over $35 on the night we ordered). Taste wise, the food was great but definitely expensive. read more

Haven't been to a thai restaurant in orlando in a while. The previous thai restaurant was in my hometown panama city. The food is delicious and really good! I went during lunch and ordered the garlic dish with the shrimp. I also ordered the mango/coconut milk/sticky rice dessert (dont know what it's called) .. All tasted amazingggggg! read more

Yes!!! The best Thai in the area, hands down. Their pad see ew and pad Thai are amazing! I order them spicy and they most definitely will clear your sinuses. What makes me happy is that both dishes are not soupy. Some Thai restaurants serve soupy pad see ew and pad Thai and that's just not the way it should be. Soong Thai does it right. Bravo! read more

SOONG THAI is my favorite Thai restaurant in Orlando. The food is tasty, not greasy and not overly sweet. Their pork Pad Thai is the best I have had in years and their Won Ton soup is deliciously different. Be forewarned, though, unless you like your food spiced seriously hot, it would be better to opt for mild or medium when asked.how you would like the dish prepared. Finally I have found a Thai restaurant in the Orlando area that is reasonably priced along with great service and great food. Thank you Yelp. The appetizer of chicken on a stick is absolutely delicious. They bring you your own little grill to warm it up and char it to your taste. The coconut soup is perfect with tons of vegetables and tender chicken. My panang was just spicy enough and full of flavor. My wife had the amazing chicken that was of course, amazing! I had the Chicken Red Curry (medium spicy) and it was great!! Seasoned to perfection. I'll get it a little spicier next time. I had carry out and my only complaint would be that the container was only about 75% full and they only gave one ice cream scoop of rice. For 11.50 it was more like a lunch serving. My wife and I moved back here from San Francisco, where we were spoiled with great Thai restaurants. First, the ambiance was nice as this place is decorated with an authentic Thai style. For $9+, that lunch felt much more like an appetizer barely enough to fill the tooth gaps. Called the order ahead, and still had to wait a bit for the food. I was only one of two customers! Since i have discovered thai food for almost ten years this was one of the worst experience. Any restaurant that wants to differentiate themselves from being an average restaurant to a great restaurant is the freshness of their food. This restaurant definitely had the right flavor but everything was stale and it was very obvious. Noodles that stuck together as a lump and meat that had after taste.
