Pad see ew and hot panang curry were both excellent. Everything was ready quickly, hot, and clearly made fresh. The "hot" spice level actually delivered, not just labeled spicy for show. We did an Uber Eats order here for pickup. I ordered vegetable spring roll (6 dollars) and chicken and vegetarian Penang curry (17 dollars each). I went to the shop to pick up my order. It took me 15 minutes to drive there and when I arrived, I was greeted by the attendant. She told me to wait a bit more, and 5 minutes later, I was able to get my order. It was bagged nicely. There were three spring rolls, which the 3 of us can enjoy one. It was crispy and enjoyable. It was nicely fried, but a little greasy. The veggies were fresh and I liked the oil aftertaste as well. The chicken Penang has soft chicken with various veggies too. It was spiced nicely to the medium level I requested. The sauce was a bit watery, but the rice helped soak it. I wish there was more rice, but it was just enough for one person. My mom's vegetarian Penang was just like the chicken, but without the meat. We also requested no tofu, so we got all vegetables. The service was nice and friendly. The restaurant is very small with limited seating area. We did see one or two people dining, but it looks like the restaurant was meant more for takeout. Relaxing music was played softly in the background and the tv was showing what was being played. It is located in the Publix plaza at Maguire, so parking wasn't an issue. I am happy to see a nice Thai takeout restaurant that is not too far from us. While the prices are a little high for takeout food, it was still great in quality and enjoyable. Thai Time is a treasure. Though the dine in atmosphere is quaint and casual, the service of a family run business by people who are truly passionate about authentic and fresh food can't be beat. The food is so clean and full of flavor. It is one of my favorite spots for take out, and I will drive the 20 minutes, past other Thai restaurants, because the food is that good and they have never let us down. I got sick from the food. I was not going to give a bad review because the people running the place are so nice. But I chose this place at a glance because of the 4.6 star rating and after my experience I feel I have to. Having lived in New York City and travelling all over the world for work, this was the worst chicken pad Thai I ever had. Not only was it severely lacking ( especially for the hefty price of nearly $20 per dish, it had an off flavor. I did not finish it. My husband did not finish his either. We threw it away and I'm glad I only took a few bites or I may have been severely ill. I almost went to the ER 2 days ago I had such severe pain. Then days of Diarreah. I have missed work. Ordered delivery tonight. This was our first time ordering from them and wow we were impressed. Everything arrived piping hot and delicious. We ordered green curry and basil chicken. Both were ordered spicy and they didn't disappoint. Great flavor and spice level. The jasmine rice was fragrant and cooked perfectly. (Some places I notice the jasmine rice isn't as fragrant). The Tom Kha Gai was okay. It lacked spice. There was no option for heat level. It was mild I think of it had some chilis it would have been perfect. The shrimp summer rolls were also just ok. They had a slight fishy smell and not enough fresh basil. But all in all I think we found our new go to for Thai delivery. read more

Found this place just by chance. Was completely impressed! Their Papaya was abundant and had fantastic flavor. Veggie spring rolls were nice and crispy and flavorful. I had the Panang curry tofu and was the best I've ever tasted. My husband had the mixed vegetable Stir-Fry with chicken and he loved the flavor and the sear of the chicken. It was very well done. First off sorry don't have a picture of the pad thai with shrimp...wife took some down the wrong pipe started chocking so had to attend to that right away . Although I did get Thai Hot and is was Hot but good the Tum Tum was also Thai Hot n good could really taste the lemon grass. Over all very good service, good food close to home which is a plus. Little pricier then other Thai restaurants but it is close so save time n gas. Give them a try see what you think ? read more

I picked up my dinner last night from here after reading all the wonderful yelp reviews. And I must admit, my food was actually really good, my wife and I were about half way through our meal, when smack dab in the middle of her curry, she found a bug. I have included a picture of said bug, who my wife named Jonathan, and decided to give a proper burial to Jonathan in our toilet. After seeing this, obviously it made her sick, and she regurgitated her curry and spent the rest of the night in bed. Clearly this was not the experience either of us were hoping for. So I hope that the Thai Time let's Jonathan's family know that he is no longer with us. RIP Jonathan. As for Thai Time, all I can say is eat here at your own risk. You've been warned. read more

Given all the positive reviews, I'm not sure whether we caught them on a bad day or I just have very high standards for Thai food after living in California for the past several years. Most of the food we ordered was disappointing. The calamari was essentially flavorless, as if the breading wasn't even salted or seasoned. The Thai tea tasted overly sweet/sugary yet it was also very watery (as opposed to rich and creamy). The chicken satay was so-so. I almost always get pad se ew at Thai restaurants. It was pretty good, as were the summer rolls. But, I found that the restaurant was pretty skimpy with the amount of dipping sauce that came with the satay and rolls. I really wanted to like this place but I'm on the fence about whether to give it another try. read more

This is an unassuming little restaurant in a strip mall anchored by a Publix. Seating is limited. This is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Orlando region I've been to and I've been to most of them as Thai is my favorite type of food. I started out with the Tom Yum soup. Frankly, it was just good. Could have been more sour for my taste. Moved on to the Pad Kee Mao noodles and Thai Time fried rice. Both dishes were outstanding. The vegetables were crisp and bright and not soggy due to being saturated with oil like at other places. The flavoring was on point and just right. I noticed many people were coming in for take out while I was there, so it is a popular spot. I'll definitely be coming back here to try the rest of the menu. read more

Hidden in a strip mall. Seems that this place does primarily take out. Few tables inside, very casual. Service was good and friendly. Food was tasty and portions were a good size. If you eat in, soda is by the can ($2.50/can). A bit on the pricey side, but overall good. read more

We stopped in for the first time tonight for a quick dinner after shopping. My expectations were low. Wow, was I surprised. I had the Tom Kha soup, a blend of coconut milk, vegetables, lemon grass, lime and choice of protein. The "small" bowl was almost a meal in itself, and the flavor was spot on. Great choice. It's a mildly spiced soup. If you like spicier, try the Tom Yum. Spouse had the fried spring rolls. They were crispy and tasty. For entree, we both had the yellow curry, medium spice. We both like a bit of kick, but not Thai hot. Once again, the flavors and spiciness were spot on. Portions were more than ample, and we brought some home for a special lunch the next day (if it lasts that long - it may become a midnight snack!) The place is small, with only a few tables. Most of the business we saw was takeout, and plenty of it. It's very clean, but decor is minimal. It was interesting to see the three clocks on the wall displaying the time in Ocoee, London and Thailand, and to see that Thailand is 12 hours ahead of us. Thai Time has made my "hidden gems" list. We'll be returning frequently, even if it's only for takeout. read more

The owners used to own Ayothaya Thai on Sand Lake. I went to the old location and I was sad as the menu changed. Once I found out that the owners of Ayothaya have a new location I am happy as the menu at Thai Time in Ocoee is the same as the previous Ayothaya.
