My dog loves going to Paws in Time and I love that I feel so comfortable taking her there!…read more This truly is a great facility for day camp and boarding. Everyone who works here seems passionate about dogs and I feel at ease knowing they will watch over my little Stella with as much love and care as I would. We initially started using Paws in Time when we needed a great place to board our dog for a week while on vacation. We've never boarded her anywhere for more than a couple nights (Grandma & Grandpa usually watch her), so I was a bit nervous about where to leave her. We previously had taken her to day camp elsewhere, but there she played in a room all day and not outside. I knew I didn't want her cooped up for an entire week, so I was psyched to let her try out Paws in Time instead since it's a whole dog resort! The dogs are able to play all day in a large facility where they have access to inside play and the outdoors. In the nice weather they have a pool with a slide and other fun toys for the dogs. The best part is honestly all the space they have to run around and socialize with other dogs. They are put in their crates to eat and at night to sleep, and other than that it's cage free boarding. I really appreciated that they fed Stella exactly how I instructed and even gave her the allergy medicine I brought too. I was able to bring a little bed for her and her blanket so she felt right at home all week! We ended up buying a package of day camp sessions which made more sense for us, so it's been nice letting her go get some energy out on random days... especially now that the weather isn't as nice and she's stuck inside a lot. Pricing is reasonable and pick up and drop off procedures are super easy. I'm so glad we've found a great place to take our Stella so she can play with other dogs and stay the night if we go out of town!

I don't ask for perfection, I ask for service and kindness and they deliver. My first appointment I was nervous for my dog as he was nervous from a different groomer. Paws in time was great with communication and treatment. Thank you P.I.T. See you next visit.

Sabrielle and her staff truly understand and care about dogs. I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .

Not just for our puppy, but also for ourselves, so that we understood how best to communicate with the puppy. Michele at Dog Gone Good Dog Training was the absolute BEST decision we could have made to make sure that Izzy (our dog) is a well behaved and functioning member of society. We were unsure about Zoom training classes, but they turned out to work wonderfully! Michele is great at providing instruction verbally, and the Zoom setting means more one-on-one feedback with her than you would normally get in a group class. Michele was wonderful at pointing out areas where we (the people) could be doing better at setting Izzy up for success, which my boyfriend and I found helpful. Izzy is miles better behaved than she used be, and, more importantly, all the people in her life know how to communicate with her effectively to make sure that she's set up for success everywhere she goes. So much of our positive, happy home with Izzy is due to Michele's patience and hard work with us. If you're looking for a lovely, patient, competent, and positive dog trainer, you have found the right person, and should reach out to Michele at Dog Gone Good Training today!
