They were going to get me in 3 days after lab results came in, but I couldn't get set up that fast. Now it's 2 weeks post and pain free for the first time in well over a decade. They also go out of their way to alleviate all worrys and answer every question (believe me I had a bunch). He was out of network with my Cigna so I had a bit more copay, but Dr T is well well worth it.

The texts that came in following up were terrific too! Always there for me...and gladly, I am 99% ok as of today...about 2 more weeks of keeping it with light activity...so so grateful and the experience was OUTSTANDING! I'd say to run to this doctor, but watch your back...jokes aside, they are the real deal! What a doctor should be and more! Thank you Dr. T!

I did, my test showed L4 and L5 vertebra, the top one was rocking over the bottom one putting pressure on my bladder, causing the frequent urination!!! That was a Friday, Dr Pitt said you need emergency surgery on Monday at 4:00pm!!!! I didn't hav back pain, I was a strong 66 year old, no health issues, not over weight, worked out etc. If I had not had the surgery, and the vertebrate slipped, I would have been paralyzed.! The bladder nerves were being damaged- called the Cauda Equina syndrome! Prior to surgery Dr Pitt explained I may have permanent bladder damage and may have to wear a colostomy bag. After 6 hours of surgery, not only did he repair my spine with fusion, a titanium cage etc, he was able to save the nerves affecting my bladder!! Dr Pitt and his office during my rehab and months of wearing a brace were so kind and always explained everything in detail to me, including reviewing my x-rays in the Office! I am grateful to Dr Pitt and his group for having the knowledge and immediate reaction to my condition. My back is fine today, I'm blessed to have been referred to Dr Pitt and wouldn't hesitate to go to him again. Sounds like the lawsuit against him was by someone who needed money, read FFs review!! Thank you Dr Pitt, Eileen Carlson Note: my spelling and medical terminology may not be perfect!!

Dr Marciano did my low back discectomy. On initial visit he let me tell my whole story and ask me…read morewhat I wanted to do. Very patient. He had already seen my MRI and knew what needed to be done. 5 star approach. His surgical coordinator went over everything at length. Entire staff very polite. Surgery day he meets me before surgery and ask if I have questions. Does the surgery and erases 85% of my pain. I had radiating pain from back to hip to quad that was level 10 completely debilitating. He also invited another Barrows surgeon to sit in on case, 2 sets of eyes and ears. I could still improve but if it stopped here the surgery would be a home run. If you need spine surgery, look no further.

They were right: great experience from the beginning thru surgery and postop management and professionalism. You can do the pre appointment paperwork online to streamline the first visit. The office was efficient and he had clearly reviewed the history and MRIs and had options to offer ranging from PT to injections or surgery. I chose surgery and the process of scheduling was a breeze and the entire event went off perfectly. Recovery was precisely as I was told and the results obviously great even in the recovery room - perfect outcome. As an MD myself working on the OR I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Marciano.

My appointment with Dr Paul Gause was a year in the making. If it weren't for "Cha", the Spine…read moreInstitute of AZ's Workers Comp Laison, I may never been approved to see Dr Gause. Here's my horror story! I am a flight attendant and took a bad fall while on duty. I've dealt with neck, head, back and knee pain ever since. Because I am based in LAX, I was under California jurisdiction. Every Dr I saw there was either semi retired or ran a surgery mill. It has taken a year to finally get to see a Dr I felt comfortable with. The California Dr only saw me via Zoom because he sees patients all over the Los Angeles area. In fact he "no showed" on 3 of my appointments and the office only told me AFTER I waited for over an hour. The reason was "He must have been running late with surgery". The final and actually first appointment he attended was via Zoom. He immediately spoke of surgery and then was sending me for preop tests with an associate in, of all places, Beverly Hills! That is over a 2 hour drive from where I live. He scheduled surgery for December 23rd, again in Beverly Hills! I felt sick to my stomach but didn't think I had a choice. Then by pure chance, I called a few surgeons in Arizona including Barrows. But it was one person who made the difference. Her name is Cha, as I mentioned earlier. I truly believe Cha was sent to me by my Angels because the minute I spoke to her, all of my nerves went away. She assured me that I would love Dr Gause as she understood I needed someone with a caring bedside manner. The issue I had was my jurisdiction was in CA. Cha worked tirelessly with Workers Comp until they finally authorized a change in my jurisdiction from CA to AZ. Last week, I met with Dr Gause and his associate. What a difference a Dr can make! What a difference a workers comp laison can make! Dr Gause suggested we start off conservatively and utilizing surgery as the last resort. We will take this one step at a time. That was such a relief but I don't have any hesitation of allowing Dr Gause to perform surgery, if needed. The entire staff was simply "welcoming". I immediately felt I was in good hands. I can't thank Cha and Dr Gause enough for caring enough to accept me as a patient. All I wanted for Christmas was a new surgeon with a caring heart. My Christmas Wish came true!

The MRI did not indicate her diagnosis so she called for a test where they used a need to number part of my spine. That did nothing and the person who performed that test said that it was not the issue of my back pain. After that, Dr Dave never called me back or returned my phone calls. I just gave up and continued just living in pain. I now am going to hopefully find another doctor who will follow-through.
