I was @ the Summit North Scottsdale Rd Safeway Sonoran Quest Thursday July 7 2024. I was scheduled for a 9am blood draw & arrived 10 min early. The gentleman staffer took me early & before I knew it he was finished. His name is Stephan or Stephano. What a pleasurable experience, as I have been to this location & have had experiences that did not measure up to this one. I asked him how long he was in this business & he said 10 years. I got the impression that if he would find other employment he may leave. Someone find this employee & give him a raise!! He's so good @ what he does you'd be fools to lose him! Tina R read more

I made an appointment for 7:45 am. Signed in via the kiosk and waited in my car for a text. Quality for Sonora depends very much on the location. This camelback location is terrible, but other locations are great. read more

Had to get blood work for my 2 year old daughter. It was her first time getting this done and being a mom it terrified me, but the lady's that helped us did so amazing in taking care of us. Thank you guys. read more

I had blood drawn this morning at the Sonora Quest lab at Dobson and Frye in Chandler, and wanted to make sure I left a nice review. Liv was the employee that helped me. She scanned my order, took my insurance info - while also stopping to help an elderly couple get checked in correctly - and then took my blood. She was friendly and easy to talk to. I love the fact that Sonora Quest is now open at 6:00 a.m. to take walk-ins before the day gets busy with appointments and with walk-ins. read more

Lab tech on site are always wonderful. However there is NO customer service when trying to call 800 number. I need to change an insurance provider and the online system continuously says "unavailable". Have held as much as 45 mins on the phone for a representative and finally hung up in disgust. This company has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SUPPORT! read more

On February 28, 2025, I had the honor of having Danie at 5757 W Thunderbird Sonora Quest location do a rather lengthy blood draw. She was kind, compassionate, understanding, professional and extremely knowledgeable. It was such a pleasure with an experienced lab tech! I highly recommend Danie and that location to anyone needing lab work! read more

Today my wife went in to drop off a specimen. The normal receptionists have been fired and the phlebotomists are now suppose to be receptionists and take blood and log in specimens. Are you kidding me? It was already chaotic. It was a huge mess. What happened to customer service? What's next will we will be asked to draw our own blood? I am going somewhere else next time. read more

I made an appointment for 9:45 am. No one at desk, it's a self service because short staffed. No one communicates anything to the waiting room packed full of people. it's been over 1 hour and still 10 people are ahead of me. Only staying because I took the time off work to get labs drawn. read more

I had two separate Doctor's orders for my recent blood draw. In order to save money on repeat tests (the tests were called by different names on the two forms) I needed her help. Ashley at the front desk was friendly, helpful and respectful. Sonora Quest is lucky to have Ashley on their staff. read more

Poor customer service. I had to wait an hour or better. The lady who advised me to use the kiosk and I did. For some reason the kiosk didn't submit my check in information. People came in after me were called before me. After a while I inquired as to if appointments were taken first. She said yes. By this time there was only one person in the office besides myself. I explained I checked in at the kiosk. My name wasn't on the checked in board. She tells me, "I don't know what to do for you." She knew I'd been there. I was upset to tears. read more

They don't know how to process your test as they will resubmit without telling you why and your balance will be more for patient to pay out of pocket! The system is broken as the bill you receive by mail is never correct! read more

Andrea R. at 75th and Deer Valley is an excellent phlebotomist. She greeted me with a smile and talked about everything so I wouldn't concentrate on why I was in there. Very sociable and such a nice girl. She's a keeper. Refreshing. Amy B. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST lab in the city. Used to be convenient and well-run. Now you MUST (attempt) to make an appointment through their terrible, user UNfriendly website. Can't make an appointment in person. When you arrived there no longer is anyone in reception. You must sign on on their stupid, impossible 'kiosks" which are ALSO an exercise in futility. "Customer service" is no longer part of this lousy outfit. I'm sure SQ is making lots of money now that it doesn't have to pay staff to man the front desk and assist clients. Wow. Avoid this outfit like the plague! read more

Just got back from the Senora Quest location at 3805 East Bell where I have gone for blood work and urine specimen collection roughly every 4 months for years. They have a new procedure obviously designed by some bean counter at corporate headquarters. No front desk staff. Kiosks don't work for appointments which I always make - never have worked! The person drawing your blood and giving you the urine sample jar is expected to do everything. I sat for over 25 minutes while this person tried to enter my order on the computer. Finally she was ready to draw my blood and provide me with my urine sample cup. On the way out I asked who was responsible for the changes resulting in this type of a shitshow. I was told "corporate" and to complain on google if I don't like. Absolutely no consideration for the patient or patients time schedule! read more

I sent the following email to websupport@sonoraquest.com. "My PCP DR. ordered a COVID-19 test for me at Sonora Quest Lab in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I registered, opened an online account, and scheduled to do that at 12:30 PM on 11.21.2023 I have Medicare Advantage coverage. I tried hard to find out if the total cost of the test would be covered by the insurance. However, there was no way to find that out through my account and patient portal. I was forced to call and there was no option to talk to anyone about that. I pressed the option 7 button and the respondent transferred me to someone else, who told me that order from my doctor had been received but she could not inform me if the cost would be covered by my insurance and I should call my insurance to find that out, instead of asking me for my Insurance ID numbers and doing that herself. All the other medical facilities and doctors' offices do that themselves and provide the information to the patients before scheduling. I cancelled the appointment of 11.21.2023 for the above reason. You need to make changes in patients' accounts and portals as well as in phone options so that one can find out such important financial information before scheduling. If you provide me with the information that I need, I may reschedule the appointment." read more

Ariel took my blood today and let me tell you, no one describes a blood draw as pleasant but she made it as close to pleasant as possible! I Didn't even feel the needle go in, she was incredibly quick and clearly experienced. I was in and out of the office in probably 25 minutes thanks to her! And I got a sticker which no one thinks to offer to adults but it made my day :) read more

I paid a bill right after the visit, but I keep receiving invoices after a year and it is impossible to communicate with them to clarify. They just send me over an over and envolope to send them a check. They have a phone number but it is impossible to get help in this matter... they a chatbot that it doesn´t help either. I was able to fill out a form for my request, and I just received an email saying that I need to call to the same phone number that never gives me an option to get help. The bill keeps increasing and nobody responds for explanaitions. read more

I scheduled an appointment here and parking was pretty full on a Wednesday morning. Definitely schedule an appointment if you can. They do accept walk ins but you will keep getting pushed back if people with scheduled appointments show up. The waiting room is small and outdated. The computer chair in one of the exam rooms was torn to shreds. The check in module glitches so I had to check I with the front staff. This place definitely needs some updating. The two front desk staff working there did not seem too friendly but the phlebotomists were amazing and much more personable. Another tip is to call your insurance to make sure certain tests are covered if you do not want to be surprised by a hefty bill. They don't pull insurance ahead of time to see what is covered and I was told if I wanted to know what was covered I need to call my insurance company beforehand. read more

It's difficult to express how bad my experience with SQL is without cussing, but I'll do my best. I have tried to pay a bill using their website for several months. I've made a few attempts. Their system refuses to verify my card. I have checked and re-checked my info. It's good, and my HSA card is good. The only reason I have an unpaid bill is SQL lost my blood sample, I had to give more blood, but my insurance didn't cover the second batch of lab work. That only compounds my frustration... this bill I cannot pay is for services rendered after they lost my blood/test results but were paid for a test I never saw the results for. Good luck fighting that. Sonoran Quest is borderline incompetent, from billing to handling your bodily fluids and test results. read more

Slow slow slow.. 9am appt. Was here early and still waiting to be called... 30min now. They put walk-ins as higher priority it seems. Appt clients should be higher! read more

Personal nice treat us with respect. We ( my husband and I) walk in for a Covid test we knew it that we have to wait. After test was done they told us that they will send results in 3 days . shyy/De'Shyra at deseret family medical was very sweet. When she got my blood she did an amazing job.

Normally I don't give reviews when it comes my blood work because it's never a good experience. I have extremely problematic veins so the experience is never anything to talk about. Well today I had to make yet another visit to Sonora Quest for blood work. Today I was met by Lakisha and she was very welcoming and personable. I told her my veins are problematic and immediately she calmed my nerves and I felt at ease. I really felt the need to express how professional and personable Lakisha is and to recommend if you ever need blood work completed at Sonora Quest located on 27th Avenue and Baseline, do yourself a favor and request Lakisha. You will thank yourself for it. read more

Lakisha was fantastic. Who would have thought blood draw could be That painless I will definitely visit this office in the future

Sonora, quest, labs, awful, terrible place that after the treatment of the people in office the last time i went and vowed i would never go back! Well lo and behold I get a debt collector bill yesterday for Sonora Quest in the mail. Of which I pay my bills in full each time. So I get my 2022 tax folder out to see what I paid and if there was a bill in there. And of course no. so I have to call Sonora quest to see what's going on and I got the rudest most disrespectful girl in the whole entire world on the phone after 25 minutes. She proceeds to tell me that I have two addresses one in Scottsdale and one in Glendale and I said never in my entire life have I lived in Scottsdale. She says well obviously you must!!! She won't give me any more information of where they sent these bills or anything like that but says you need to pay us - so pay RSI enterprises.! She then hangs up on me. Now I got poor treatment when I went there, I have no idea how long ago. And now I get crappy rude treatment in regards to a bill over the phone years later- obviously they are sending my bills to a Scottsdale address and not to my actual address of 24 years, and she wouldn't change that either! Worst company ever ever or at least one of them! I am so thankful my doctor doesn't use them and I never will either! Spoke to a SQ rep about why they sent a debt collector for $82 and she said we sent a statement 4x and said to your address in Scottsdale! I have never lived in Scottsdale! What a horrible terrible awful company. Why I switched and my doctor in house lab is Lab Corp. read more

What a company!! Sends me a bill for $4.97 and charges $3.99 for a "payment delivery fee" to pay online!!! Unacceptable I'll use one of the other options next time! read more

4 staff sitting doing nothing, refusing to just talk to us instead, "use the tablet" we weee told. The dam Tablet sucks and barely works!! These staffers were to busy on their phones and gossiping.... Attitude was, don't bother us! That combined with you crappy billing department is why we will be looking for another lab. read more

I had a medical issue last night and my doctor prescribed a lab. Because of the medical issue, I cannot walk. My husband went inside to get a wheelchair which they didn't have, so I had to crawl into the building. My husband asked if we could borrow one of their chairs with wheels. They refused and told us they could not help or touch me other than to draw my blood. I'm sure the lawyers have set the ground rules. The staff avoided looking at me. A guy followed us in the room to once again tell us that they couldn't help me or touch me, and I was on my own. The only redeeming experience was the person who drew my blood and was sorry she couldn't help more. She gave me gloves, so I could crawl into the bathroom to give a sample. She is the reason I gave them 2 stars. It is a sad day when a place of medicine lacks compassion and concern for another human being. read more

My feedback is on the poor service of the billing dept. I was on the phone on hold for an hour and hung up. I tried again next day on hold for half hour and hung up. God forbid u have a question or concern about your bill. read more

I had an 8:30 appointment and I got there 10 minutes early. There had to be 50 plus people in there...no way did they schedule that many people for 8:30! They are taking people as they arrive and NOT giving appointment clients priority as it was over 45 minutes until I was seen! This was the one on Dobson and Frye...Shame on them! Maybe it's just this one? read more

Walked in today. three girls at the desk, not one was wearing a mask! Only the technician was. To check-in, you need to be less than 6 feet. None one of the four people waiting wrote a mask. What were they thinking? One of the front desk ladies had to open a door for me, not wearing a mask and 3 feet away! To draw blood you have to be closer than 6 feet! Anyone NOT wearing a mask is putting the technician at great risk. Selfish? Dumb? ALL the lab employees must be required to wear masks at all times. ALL laboratory testing facilities should require ALL patients to wear masks. Loew's was giving them away free today! YOU should also! No mask no entry and no test! Seems like many people living here in Anthem think we are immune. The fact is over 240 reported cases here! Anthem wake the f up! read more

DO NOT USE THIS LAB! Took a family member here and the staff took his blood without cleaning his arm first. Not safe.

I usually get an annual check up, routine blood panel. I am in excellent health. The BIG problem I have EVERY year is with Sonoran Quest Labs. I do self pay and usually you get abouit 25% discount for self pay. I received my bill a few months back and spoke with representative. She told me the amount would be adjusted for self pay and then told me the new amount to pay and I did. About a month or so later, I received another bill for the other portion. I tried calling in...the automated system hung up on me even though I was well within business hours. I tried doing the call back....no call back so I wrote on the bill the specifics that I'd already paid....well...I received another bill today. I am currently waiting for a call back. I have ALL of my calls recorded...especially for nonsense like this. This is a MAJOR waste of my time. I am going to tell my primary Doctor that I won't be getting an annual anymore if we have to use SQL as I've had this problem before and won't do it again. If you have an option, use the other option. read more

Scheduled an appointment if possible! They accept walk-ins but depending on the day you may have to wait to be seen since they prioritize appointments and timed lab tests. I scheduled mine as soon as I had the lab order. My appointment was at 9am and I was out of the office by 9:17am. My phlebotomist Carolyn (excuse me if misspelled!) was excellent and was very gentle with the big needle. Everything went smoothly even though I was nervous. read more

I received orders for labs that needed to be done ASAP. No lab draws done in Gold Canyon. Tried to make an appointment at Sonoran Lab on Southern or one on Crismon. Both over 15 mile drive for me. Not a single appointment open for over a week. I drove to the Southern location, I electronically checked in and waited 45 minutes. I went to the desk and asked how many people ahead of me, I had 15 people ahead and told it would be another 1-2 hours as a walk in. This is totally unacceptable. I have scheduled the first appointment available, over 1 week away. This is after my Dr appointment that I need the lab work drawn for. Ridiculous. read more

Such a great staff. These ladies work hard all day long, even when you can tell they are overwhelmed, they still maintain excellent service. The manager, Angelica is a gem. read more

The reason for the 2 stars is because you can never get anyone on the line in billing without a ridiculous amount of wait time. It is every time I call! I literally just waited 45 mins and hung up because I couldn't wait any longer. The lab itself is good! People on the phone are good! But it seems they are severely short staffed when it comes to billing. Please hire more people! read more

I went in around the 1st of August. The kiosk wasn't working well and 2 older gentlemen struggled with it and no one was at the front desk to help slowing checkin dramatically. I had an appt as indicated on the screen in the lobby, but everyone that checked in before me without an appt were taken before me which begs the question, why make an appt. I was finally called 20 min after the appt time and the only friendly person was the man who drew my blood. It was a pretty pathetic experience compared to previous ones, so I am hoping it was a one off. I do have to apologize for being short with the girl that came out to get the last man before me in the place when I asked how long it would be and that I had an appt but watched as others were called. I wasn't wrong in what I was saying, but I didn't say it with the grace and patience I would have wished to have in the situation. For that I am sorry. read more

Very poor customer service. They do not try to work with you. I was triple charged for the way my doctor coded the bloodwork. First they said my doctor's office could fix it; my doctor's office promptly did. Then they essentially said, "oh well, we are going to charge you anyway." I escalated the matter, to no avail. Go elsewhere. read more
