Look I'm not easy to get along with. I took 2 elderly handicapped parents today and Adrianna made it easy. She was nice and professional but she was also equipped with a bedside manner. She comforted my mother as she did her job. 6 Stars. Back to being a dick now. Go here if you're in the area and want to be treated right. Expect a 20 minute wait and be happy when it's less. Slow and I hate the fact they got rid of the office workers. That is so cheap that they are making the medical people do it, which is even more annoying. No wonder it has two stars read more

Whenever I have been to my Local Sonora Lab, I have had mostly good service but today my experience with a Customer Service Representative on the phone, has been exceptional. I wanted to query a Bill I had received. I became impatient (one of the pleasures of seniordom) and ended the call in anger. The Customer Service Rep called me back immediately and gently drew me out. She explained many things to me and resolved my issue with empathy and common sense! Her name is Andrea and I am most impressed with the Customer Care I received! Thank you so much! read more

I cannot believe how messed up Sonora Quest really is..... I stopped by my previous Endocrinologist's Docs office since they have a Sonora Quest location there.......but they couldn't do a blood draw from a Doc (my GP) that is not located at that site! I tried going to my new Endocrinologist's office since they have a Sonora Quest location there as well. NO for the same reason??? So I have to go to a "public" location. Really?!?!? How stupid is this? Is there really any reason? The tester at the last place had nothing to do but instead of drawing my blood I had to drive over to a "public" location so I can sit in the waiting room..... inefficiency and stupidity at its finest! read more

This is the 3rd and last ttme that I would ever use or recommend this company to anyone looking to get labs Every time I put in for appointments the location says it was ever put in and advised my doctors that they either give me another location or I will NOT waste my time with Sonora again Don't waste your time and energy with this company Grade of an F Jeff Pordes Peoria, Arizona read more

I'm not sure if this place really is incompetent or if they are scamming people! If you are getting anything other than routine blood work, stay clear of this place! I was having some tests done that are not your run of the mill tests. The story goes like this... I wait an hour past my appointment time (this should have been the first red flag). Once in the back, I notice it is taking the lab tech extra long to put my lab order in the computer. I ask if everything is ok, lab tech says "yea, having a little trouble with one of these tests, can't seem to find it" (second red flag). About a minute after I ask if everything is ok the lab tech leaves the room, comes back with another lady. They are both looking at computer, tech 1 say's I'm not sure which one to use (third red flag), 2nd tech say's I think it's that one (fourth red flag). The second tech leaves, not 2 seconds later a third tech comes in, and says that the second tech wants her to check and make sure it's the right code (fifth red flag). Finally, after an hour of waiting after my appointment and 20 minutes in the room trying to figure out what code is correct I finally get my blood drawn. Fast forward a week and half. I hadn't seen anything come through my Insurance via my portal (I have had issues with Sonora not billing my Insurance in the past), so I called Sonora, and low/behold the rep tells me "Oh, your claim is on hold pending a letter from your doctor saying that this test was needed", say what?! The rep then proceeds to tell me that the test that was put in the system is not FDA approved! My mind is blown!!! Now I know why it was taking so long for the lab tech, instead of informing me that she could not find the correct code for that test she decided to find a code that closely matched the test I was suppose to get. It's still too early to get a bill because they still have not billed my insurance. I am be proactive and letting people know. I am also filing a complaint with my insurance and the BBB. If needed I will escalate to the district attorney's office. I should not be on the hook for a lab test that is not FDA approved, I should have been informed, and given the option to opt out! read more

I arrived at 2001 w camelback to have labs drawn. I had a question and I was trying to explain but the person would not listen. Than the tech that took me back was not friendly at all,was abrupt and felt like it was inconvenient to have to draw my lab. I am a health care provider and know what it is like to be busy. No excuse for the behavior. read more

This place is a disaster. My doctor sent over my blood work, the technician refused to search for it as i didn't have a printed copy of the order. News flash, everyone has a portal and everything is digital these days. I have the bar codes, and the instructions for the tech to search the system in case they couldn't find the order. She refused to do so. Fine, I get a printed copy and make another appointment. Its only my time and money wasted. The biggest complaint is my mother also had an appointment at the same time. She was suppose to provide urine for a urine test. She is 84 and struggles sometimes with this. They provided her the materials to collect the urine at home and bring it back. We came back the next morning, thinking it was as simple drop off. WRONG. Apparently you need an appointment for everything here. They made her wait 45 minutes before someone came and collected her sample. The front desk was completely unhelpful, not sure what they actually do. Any time you ask them a question, or for help they dismiss you. I couldn't even get a human to answer the phone when I called from the waiting room, as there is a time limit as to how long a sample is viable. We will never come back here. read more

Waited 1 hour, when I received the text to come in, my name was removed from the wait list. No receptionist to help. Asked two staff members for help. Waited another 15 minutes with no update. Then walked out and made a formal complaint to cooperate. Wasted 2 hours of my morning. Can't wait to go back tomorrow! read more

Helpful & professional. The wait is usually quick for bloodwork. If you're curious about something, you can pay to have it checked out yourself. I wanted to check my COVID anti-body levels before deciding on getting any more boosters. Very handy to have a place to go & become informed. read more

Once again, SQ is changing the way they provide services. No one at the window to supervise, 2 kiosk at the door as you enter. Enter name and birthday, and sit down. I had an appointment, but it wasn't noted, and when I got to and the 'announcer"? She said she would check on my appointment. Then came back and told me I didn't have one .... even though the message in my phone confirmed I had. She told me "Sit and wait". I left. I guess they are trying to save $$ or something. No service whatsoever!!!! read more

Alma and Jazmin where very friendly and kind during my blood test.Very professional and I would recommend anybody to go to this lab....

The receptionists are rude and make people who are fasting wait over 2 hours. Need more caring people in healthcare.

Probably not your fault, but just a horrible experience. Waiting room smelled like piss, crying babies everywhere, an hour late on your appointments, no one at the front desk to help anyone with their questions or concerns. Just an overall shitty experience! What is the point of having an appointment if you do not honor it? However, the staff does seem to care, just looks like they are heavily understaffed. read more

This place never seems to disappoint. They are always unorganized and under staffed. It appears there are more office staff the blood draw employees. No communication or explanation of what is going on. You guys need to get you stuff together. read more

My wife and have been going to Sonora Quest Labs at 13657 W McDowell Rd, #100, Goodyear, AZ 85395 for our blood tests since we first moved into the Valley (Verrado Community) over 18 yrs ago. The staff and phlebotomists at Sonora Quest are friendly, efficient, and effective. This morning (Fri, 9-26-25) was no different: Tammy was my phlebotomist and she drew my blood quickly and with no discomfort. Thank you Sonora Quest and we'll see you the next time we need blood tests (or any other medical testing). EJQ read more

This place sucks. Why bother making appointments? Had a 12:15 appointment and checked in at 12:00. The screen took my name off after 45 minutes and no one could explain why and they added me back as 12th in line. This place sucks. read more

Lazy entitled nurses. I made an appointment on the phone and they literally never put it in the system. Once I finally got my appointment, a scanned pdf of the lab orders my doctor gave me with her signature wasn't enough. They were straight up too lazy to end like 18 numbers. Two days of work down the drain. Also the office lady was rude to this old woman. Fuck this location. read more

As a retired clinician, I am aware of procedures protecting my health and privacy, and Sonora Quest has excelled on both counts. I go every two weeks for a routine blood test. The process, from sign-in on one of their kiosks, to the front desk, and through collection, is efficient and quite safe. But what sets it apart is the skills of their people. Today I had blood drawn by Esmerelda. Usually I am a difficult stick, but she hit it on the first try, cleared the butterfly's air into a red top, then filled a blue top. I was bandaged and on my way in under three minutes. read more

I had an appointment for a physician-ordered blood draw at the Sonora Quest Fountain Hills location. My appointment was for 8:45AM and I arrived on time. When I went in, the waiting room was packed. I waited at what I thought was the receptionist's desk for about 10 minutes and never saw one employee. I turned and asked the room of waiting people if anybody had been seen yet and had they been registered. Many were not yer registered. One lady said, "Oh, you have to use the kiosk but it doesn't work." I went to the filthy kiosk which was tucked in the corner of the room, behind some of the seats. I tried to enter my information as it requested, but it wouldn't take it. Then another screen said to enter my name. Did that. New message said that there was no such person in their files. A few other people tried with the same results. Finally an employee, which turned out to be the phlebotomist, came from the back and by this time, several people were around the kiosk with the same story. She rudely said well you have to use the pen, which was hanging below and you couldn't really see it. So the employee tried it and it didn't work for her either. Then she UNPLUGGED the unit and spun it around, then plugged it in to a new outlet. I said "What is this, 1998 AOL technology where you unplug it, wait 2 minutes, the try again?" By this time almost everybody was agitated and it took a while to find out who got registerd, who had appointments, who was a walk-in. Oh! Then she said very rudely that if you're registered, your name is on the TV screen. The TV screen was blank. I finally got in for the blood draw, and because it was a fasting draw, and I waited so long, I was very dizzy because I have Parkinson's disease and everything, meds, water, and food must be timely. I hadn't eaten in 15 hours. A lovely man who was a walk-in walked me out to my car. Time: 10:10AM. I will never use Sonora Quest again. Their explanation was that they had a "new system" and the bugs were still being worked out. So with the new system, they don't have to pay a receptionist or any other staff to keep things running smoothly. read more

Hands DOWN one of the WORST websites I've ever dealt with. As a cancer patient I get alot of bloodwork. At least, more than the average person. I will NEVER use SonoraQuest again after my last and final experience wasting my time with this inept website. Just hire more customer service reps and do everything on the phone. You are wasting people's time and peace of mind. read more

My name is Barbara I, I had an appointment at 2640 West Baseline Road Suite 115, Phoenix, AZ. My appointment was at 8:30am. I was the first one in, which was great, but, the phlebotomist whose name was, I think, Arnina, I could'nt make out her name, her name tag was covered but on the services provided sheet she wrote her name. She was a heavy black lady. My complaint is that she was very professional, but, VERY VERY VERY COLD. She was not friendly at all, it don't cost a dime to smile or be friendly. That's the problem with my people, most of us are not friendly and has their six guns on and ready to fire and can be so nasty. Like I said, she was very professional. The care was excellent. Just the attitude was awful. read more

I went to the SonoraQuest lab in Anthem. The phlebotomist, Sky, did an excellent job drawing my blood. I was in and out in 15 minutes from checkin. read more

I have been going to this location for years. Today when I arrived, no one checked me in. The lobby chairs are ripped to shreds and lined up too close to each other. The phlebotomist called me and told me she would do the admin check in paperwork. She told me this was a new process since there is no front office staff and phlebotomists have to do it all. Though my phlebotomist was skilled and professional, the office vibe was frantic. Why have patients, many who are nervous, sit in an office with filled blood tubes? Why not have admin staff to greet patients and check them in? Undoubtedly a push to beef up the profit margins with no regard for patient care. This attempt at restructuring is a fail and whoever thought it up, approved it and/or implemented should be let go. What an unprofessional move for a previously high quality company. Take your business and blood elsewhere. read more

Made an appointment at Senora Quest in the new building 9000 W Thunderbird. No outdoor sign in the parking lot. Enter the lobby- no reception just two kiosks. Neither one would scan my bar code as I was advised. One was completely broken and the other, the pen was damaged and it wouldn't accept my phone number and kept repeating numbers or wouldn't register no matter how many times I tapped.. With the help of another patient, we used the pen from the broken machine. Meanwhile 5 people waiting ,annoyed behind me. At least the Phlebotomist was efficient, although his computer wasn't working either. read more

Phlebotomists are super nice. I did have someone in training once who somehow blew my vein and ruined my arm for months. I make sure to not let a trainee touch me or my son anymore. BUT the billing is a nightmare. It doesn't matter if they take your ins info, they will still fail to bill your ins and try to bill you the entire thing. My son gets a lot of labs. I feel like I am constantly stressed over yet another Sonora quest bill. There is also absolutely no way to reach them. I've even faxed with no response. I now call my insurance company and ask them to contact Sonora quest to straighten it out. read more

I got my blood tested at Sonora quest. I asked them if they took Blue Cross. They said yes and took my insurance card. When I got the bill, it was $2800 and come to find out they were only with Blue Cross of Arizona and I have Blue Cross of Minnesota they don't let you know that, why would it matter anyway. Be cautious they overcharge, and don't give the full story to you when you ask them. The next time I went to get my blood check, I went to the LabCorp. They added everything up with my insurance and told me all my co-pay was 56.00. I will not go to Sonora quest again. read more

I tested my blood 2 months ago and they will not release my results into my portal or send them to my physician. I had my blood drawn today at the Sonora Quest laboratory located at 8415 North Pima Rd, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Tammy W took my specimen, and she was absolutely delightful to talk to. Not only did she make the process enjoyable, but I didn't feel a thing! I had horrible experiences at two Phoenix locations. I waited for an hour before I was seen and then was told that their system was down without any apologize.
